THIS WAS AMAZING!! I really really enjoyed this! My favourite submission of LD47 so far! I have no complaints about it (except maybe a walk animation for the main character haha). I throughly enjoyed this, its like a new take on bullet hells. Its like Enter the Gungeon with a twist. Great job!
Really fun, great job!

Great job! Loved the gameplay, the mood, the weapon audio, and the opening scene.
This is the most joyfully frustrating game I have played in a long time
Amazing game! The only thing that would have made it a bit better is if there were an animation on enemies before they shoot.

Absolutely amazing. Looks so cool, and gameplay mmm. Thanks for gread jam game :)
This game is awesome and has a nice Katana Zero touch in it! The only thing that's kinda frustrating is when you lose a task and go to the previous room: if you fail in the previous room, you go back to the room prior to that.
It might be worth considering to just go one room back and don't push the player further back for making mistakes? In it's current state it feels as punishing as it is satisying.
Other than that, I've enjoyed it a great deal!

The most exciting and interesting game I've played in the last month. Even at the initial stage of development, the game looks amazing, the gameplay is pleasant to play, and most importantly - it pulls you into a loop

Pretty coool. A little hard to start out, could be a full game with some work and a plot.
Soo polished, every game element fits together perfectly. And it is hard but fair - Love it
One of the most fun games I've played this jam so far. Love the Hotline Miami feel to it! And it had a boss fight! Very well done, and highly rated for me. Played it on my stream, here's the VOD: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/762084577

Just solid, nothing more to say. I wish I sucked less at games like this though...

Super fun and challenging game I liked the objectives spicing things up. Only thing is that I got stuck for quite a while on the first marked room, since the marked drone was so close to an unmarked enemy that I kept hitting both. But once I got past that hitch, it was smooth sailing. really enjoyed the bossfight too! Nice graphics and fitting music, all in all a nicely polished game!
That was awesome!

really good game! Wish there were a few QoL improvements made to make it a bit more intuitive, but overall, amazing job!
I really enjoyed this, had a great feel with a lot of polish. Would have loved to play more, my only criticsm is that the sword felt a tad awakard. Apart from that, one of the better entries I've seen.

This game was phenominal. I enjoyed the aesthetic and the loop theme was put into the game in a very clever way without being to obvious. Keep it up!
Wow, this game is a complete experience! Very good graphics, extremely well polished everything: screen shakes, lighting, animation, enemies exploding when they die, trail after the dash, pausing frames in the sword attack, really a great job. I always have difficulty implementing polishing, so your game is an inspiration for me!
The music and sound effects complement the game's rhythm very well.
The level design matching the theme was also very smart. I think this is the first time that I have seen a game creating the restriction of not being able to walk and shoot at the same time, very cool!
Perhaps my only criticism is in the AI of the enemies, they are a little too easy: if I simply run around the room, near the walls, it is very difficult to be hit.
But overall, one of the best entries that I've played!
This was a really well made game! I loved the art and the music, gameplay was tight and once you got the hang of it, it flowed really well!
Heya! Thanks for submitting your game to my stream [twitch.tv/drjavasaurus)[www.twitch.tv/drjavasaurus]. I had a great time playing it. Very well made game with tight controls (once I managed to turn my AZERTY into QWERTY, thanks belgium :D). I really enjoyed it, it's a challenging game and every time I got sent back a loop I knew and felt it was my own fault. This is enter the gungeon quality, especially seeing it's all condensed development in 72 hours! Keep it up !
Loved all about the style of this game. The grafics, music, sound effects, light effects, blood marks on the floor, the rogue-like-ish thing, just so cool
Your game is amazing! And it felt so good when I finally noticed the boss "tell" and defeated them (I died a lot before that).
Playing this was a blast! I loved that you really really need to be on your toes when entering each new room, and the boss fight was neat as well. The art is fantastic and I can already imagine what it would look like if you had had more time to tackle the art.

This game is really good, I mean I was very annoyed by the don't miss and switch between weapons part of the game and I simply couldn't make it past this levels, but the music, art and a theme were fitting so good, well done!
Such a cool game!!! The art is so so so so so gooood! I'm really impressed!
The game is really good! Congratulations on your jam entry, everything was really cool, I just found a bug where at the start of a level if you shoot while time is really slow, the bullets spawn without movement and remain floating forever. Captura.PNG

Well... simply amazing! Hard at the beginning, super funny when you become used to it. Completed the run 3 times and each time I found new interesting rules.

Amazing game! Very responsive controll. Have some unique rooms, that I very liked. And the Boss was a nice touch. Thank you for your entry, comrade! =)
Really cool game with alot going for it. There could have been some more animations though, like a walking animation and shoot animation.
Cool game, even when it's a bit difficult for me, and annoys me when I loose too many levels in a row. I'm very like juice. Screen shake and slow-motion are very good.

Smooth and satisfying gameplay mechanics with clear goals and on-spot execution. My only comment is on the 'exit' doors to probably be closed before you make invalid moves or die or fullfill the objective in room, because I randomly got teleported to the level's start by accident.
Other than that, it looks like perfect Switch title for me!
Job well done!
Extremely polished submission with tons of juice, excellent movement, simple, but very entertaining core gameplay and smooth difficulty curve for a hardcore game. Well done, looking forward to seeing this game on Steam.

Nice game, really fun to play ! I think you can add many more constraint to push more higher your game, you can have infinite idea on this to be more fun for player to discover a new constraint each time. Hope you will update your game to reach a perfect fun game.
(If you update it I would like to be there to play it again)
Ok, this is awesome. I still haven't gotten very far, but this is a game that I'll definitely be playing again to try and get to that boss. The graphics, the sound effects, the music, the mechanics - it's all really good! The fighting honestly feels so satisfying and smooth as well. This is something I'd definitely really love to play as a full version or something. Well done!
Hey, I played your [very juicy] game on stream if you're interested the VOD is posted here.

Top marks for fun on this one! One of the most enjoyable LD47 games I've tried. A satisfying level of difficulty - tough but with attention to a rising and falling difficulty curve that allows for easier rooms to act at 'checkpoints' before a hard room or series of rooms.
Well done on getting such a lengthy campaign in with various kinds of condition to keep things interesting. Great game!

I started out as a good game but realized my cursor went off screen to my second monitor and the game kept playing and I was shooting (clicking) things on my other screen. Could be just my set up.
Your game was played on my stream ( https://www.twitch.tv/ursagames/videos ) on 10/12. Thank you for sharing your game with us! You can find the timestamp of when your game was played here: https://tinyurl.com/yy4oycvv
@eskooh Hello! Thanks for finding a glitch. I don't have a second monitor to check what can cause this problem, but I will try to find how to fix it.

Great game! one of the most fun I've played! the concept is well thought out and it is executed perfectly! congrats!
[Thanks for submitting this to the stream!](https://www.twitch.tv/videos/780628065?t=01h13m41s)
This game was straight-up bananas. You packed an *impressive* amount of juice into it, which made the combat and movement feel suuuuper nice and responsive. I kiiiiiiiind of wish that dying didn't set me back to the previous room, and instead restarted the room that I died in, but that might just be a personal preference.
Regardless, I'm super jealous of what you managed to pull off here in such a short amount of time!
Wow, that was amazing! The game oozed coolness and style all the way, looks fantastic, controls are tight and the level progression was unforgiving but generous. And that's all coming from a guy who doesn't really like top-down shooters and isn't really good at them 😅 If you're curious to see how I played your game, here's me playing it on my stream: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=15n2Eq8yeVA (video will unlock in 18 hrs from now, sorry about that)
Thanks for submitting! 😊

I didn't think there would be so many conditions! Each condition was given so much attention to detail, especially the "choose the right weapon" one. Death feels very punishing, even though you're only put back one room, probably because your character only takes one hit. This is good, because it makes people feel like they are "stuck in a loop". The worst thing was the lack of an ending. Just because it's randomly generated doesn't mean it can't have an ending. I had a lot of fun playing this game. Good job!
@robonaut121 What do you mean? It has an ending. There is a boss fight at the end.
@thejohnyfeed Whoops! I didn't get that far :-$
I absolutely loved the game! Some stages were difficult, but it was soooo much fun! The hardest part was probably the "Don't Miss," but that's probably because I'm just bad at gaming in general xD
Wonderful entry, really hit all the things I adore in a good solid LD entry - compelling, punchy gameplay, lovely vfx and a music track that doesn't get boring despite the fact I was playing the game for bloody ages on stream! Loved it, great fun.
The combat system was fairly simple but did the job, everything was instantly familiar, as were the pros and cons of the two weapons. The task system was a great mechanic and really served to help vary the gameplay in interesting and unique ways. The "use the right weapon" was definitely my favourite. The 'don't run and gun' one probably being my least as it kills the pacing a little (pun not intended), but definitely a great place to start expanding the gameplay here.
Another place would definitely be the rooms. I'm sure you're well aware but the same room shape every time was a little rough. The "avoid the red" rooms could really help with this by adding the not-obstacles to the environment, so more than one kind of pattern there would have been great.
All the effects were punchy and satisfying and really helped the combat feel satisfying. You have the game feel down already, and that's such a huge thing to have. Nice.
Finally, my biggest gripe with the game - knowledge on how the progression worked! It was so tricky to know if I was really starting over or making any progress at all! I didn't realise I was going *back* in progress for ages, I just figured I was running out of invisible lives at some point. I think a map at the top of the screen wouldn't go amiss. I also think a little reminder of your task would be great for the less attentive of us.
Also, a reminder that I somehow got stuck and didn't progress when I tried to go to the next room! Wonder how that happened.
Really well done though guys, I was addicted by the end and very satisfied to have beaten it.
I actually went back to this entry just to get to the boss fight, and I killed him and exited the room and...
...a bug which stopped me from finishing the game :-(

Great game, but I would love to be able to finish it...
@robonaut121 Oh, sorry for that! :c
I'll check what can cause this problem, never seen that glitch before. Sorry again!
