Hope it's "Déjà vu", just to make everyone pissed.

nurk 2020-04-21 01:16

Mmmh Kill, Kill, Kill again ! Mouahaha ! I can't keep them alive. :p Nice game. :)

rodi 2020-04-21 11:47

I love it! But when i see a nuke button, i pressed it ^^

vibromatic 2020-04-21 13:28

Really nice mood. I liked the introduction cinematic

birchy 2020-04-21 13:29

Cool game! We also made a game about Earth, Humanity and space. Check it out! ;)

palsina 2020-04-21 13:31

At the begining I was thinking of writing a review about how I love the intro and just the calming presentation. But then the game started, this is a stress simultor! so many notifications. And you can be really cruel, lovely.

moddingmachine 2020-04-21 15:52

Overall a really fun game! I love the intro and all the little dialog boxes! Overall a really nice professional game!

j-c-one-bit-studio 2020-04-21 18:05

Nice mood and great music. The game has an interesting concept, although it should be a tad bit slower, because currently way you can't even comprehend what you are doing.

defenestration 2020-04-21 18:12

Ah, yes. I put out a small grass fire with a tsunami

dvd 2020-04-21 18:15

This is so cool, but I can't really win

whismirk 2020-04-21 18:22

Super boulot !

curtis-pelissier 2020-04-21 18:31

@rodi ahah, I hesitate to put this action into the game. I knew most people will use it

@vibromatic Thank you very much. It was very important for me to land the player gently into the game.

@palsina I haven't enough time to tweak more the speed of the game and the notifications. That's the problem with this kind of game.

@moddingmachine At the beggining of the conception, I wanted politics and journalists to influence events in game. So, if "Romuald Grump" says something really nasty, this would trigger guerilla or something. But, you know, time in game jam...

@j-c-one-bit-studio yeah, that's the general feedback. I'm really sorry to hadn't tweak that.

@dvd Depends what you call "win"

curtis-pelissier 2020-04-21 18:34

michael-horst 2020-04-21 18:35

Eventually, I grew tired of humanity and settled back to watch them die. They deserved it.

Fantastic game! The mood, theme and music were spot-on. The gameplay was a little lackluster; I would have enjoyed a bit more variety, and perhaps at a slightly slower pace so I could take things in a bit more rather than rushing to react to everything.

I think many people will eventually let the planet die. reading the messages that appear over time is a great and funny way to pass the time as humanity perishes. Great touch!

bastian-bresson 2020-04-22 09:26

Great idea and well executed! There seemed to be so much going on. Is it meant to be played mostly in pause mode?

dvd 2020-04-22 10:29

@curtis-pelissier I love how the best thing to solve issues is to kill the infected, that makes the game great.

curtis-pelissier 2020-04-22 10:37

@michael-horst Thank you and, yeah totally: the events appeared really too fast. I hadn't enough time to add more variety to actions, that's one of my regrets. As already said, politicians should have more importance in the game.

@bastian-bresson It's partially made to play with Pause mode, because of the –too much– number of events in a month.

hollebecq-baptiste 2020-04-22 10:42

hollebecq-baptiste 2020-04-22 10:42

minusc 2020-04-22 10:46

What I learned: Nuke everyone and kill the contamined people works quite fine. It was fun, and nicely done. Really good job.

docgeraud 2020-04-22 12:22

Cool game! At first I was trying to follow my moral, then I saw that being a dick was wayyyy more efficient. Great job on the music :D

the1 2020-04-22 16:26

Perfect game! cinematic is also cool

teinree 2020-04-22 16:39

Ayy, nice game, id like to a bigger variety of events, but overall the game is cool! Nice concept

duskel 2020-04-22 16:44

That's game is really cool ! the idea is great :D

gamescodedogs 2020-04-22 16:46

Thank for the game :) Now is the best time for Anti-Plague Inc game. I always wanted to make no evil while playing Plague, finally @@curtis-pelissier made it possible. Also intro is very movie-like, which is setting me on a good vibe. Wish you the best of luck!

curtis-pelissier 2020-04-22 16:56

@minusc Nuke doesn't meant to be used as humanity purifier  but if that's funny for you, I'm ok. Thanks

@gamescodedogs yeah, some friends compared my game to Plague. But I promise that isn't my intention. Thank you, I see most of you like the introduction and the music. That makes me feel so happy!

noamraz 2020-04-22 17:51

Wow Cool Game!!! Like it Veryt MUch

lesslwo 2020-04-22 18:16

5/5 will save the humanity with tactical nuclear arms again  Yeah, I get that thats probably not the mood you intended for the game to have, but still, nice job.

enya454 2020-04-23 06:37

Really fun game in the same vain of plague inc. I would like to see a version of this developed further with more events and disasters. Keep it up

westmave 2020-04-23 12:10

Really Cool Game. I loved the Intro, which reminded me of the famous "Pale Blue Dot"-speech by Carl Sagan. The Idea is pretty cool, I like the interpretation of the Theme. I had some Problem keeping up, with all events and news. A war in Oceania killed 64 Million people, I was irritated :D. Loved the little humoruous jokes and references. Music and Graphics are beautiful, as well. Good Work, Thank you

ben657 2020-04-23 12:18

Got a lot better once I realised I could pause and stop getting overwhelmed by disasters! But really good fun, with some more visual effects it could be a great pandemic-style game.

mrstari 2020-04-23 12:39

Nice Game :)

willypa 2020-04-25 13:00

Good Gameplay!

delapaix 2020-04-25 14:31

Great!

paradoxcrusader5 2020-04-26 22:31

This game is great! I would love to see this hit an app store like Google or Apple!

shaolin-dave 2020-04-27 05:31

First, this just overtook my previously-claimed "most unique concept". Music was relaxing, the small amount of graphics were amazing (quality over quantity, right?). The interaction was mostly pretty intuitive.

fatpenguin 2020-04-28 21:02

Interesting game and an interesting premise! The controls were quick to grasp, the graphics of the planet looked good! The intro could have been made skipable and there were a few typos, but hey, it's a gamejam ;)

I would have liked to interact more with the planet earth instead of only textboxes, maybe do some drag and dropd mechanic or maybe the game makes it so you hve to pinpoint a location or something (that way its a sneaky educational game as well :D) so that would make the game even more special I think :)

The twitter thing was funny, I would make it so a little pop up shows up and shows the whole tweet at the top or bottom and then make it last longer so the player doesn't have to pause and click at the Social Media tab.

All in all a decent entry, good job! :)
