Such a pretty game. The gameplay felt a bit slow but that can definately be fixed, just need some balancing. All in all very good entry

I don't think people will enjoy this game like I did. So far, the most fun I had. Great care with MIB and army peeps. Fun to play and fresh HP/clone mechanic.
Really liked the alien design and overall graphics. The combat and dodge mechanics feel nice. Would like to try it with a game pad.
This game looks and feels fantastic! Took a bit of playing to understand combat and why you have that dash button. Gameplay was great, and the audio was excellent as well!
Audio, graphics, and gameplay loop felt great. The slow harvesting time (holding E) gives a good vibe at the beginning but it does get quite long and boring when you need to pick up many corpses.
Awesome game!Really love the mechanic by which you get to use one of your other aliens in case you die.
Nice Rick and Morty inspired characters
Funny sounds and banging drums! Superb game.
Very nice brain art!
attack works nicely, and music is cool, but the world is kinda empty of activity
The music in this was great! I didn't realize for a bit that there were additional screens you could move to if you just pushed against the edges, but I was incredibly impressed by the amount of mechanics built for this game! Nicely done
Really like the character art. Also the way your lives are the aliens you spawn was a great idea love that! I would maybe make the MIB a little easier to kill at least at the start anyway, other than that really cool entry nice work :)
I loved all the art and animations, really made it feel like a fun arcade game. Controls felt great! Nice entry
I liked the art a lot, it reminds me of that flash game series The Visitor. Gameplay was fun! I think it would have been ok with a goal of 10 aliens, though. 30 was a biiit of a grind.
Very cute little alien even has many kinds of skin. The alien father can eat too much. I think it is very interesting
Really like the mechanic, art and music. At first, I wasn't picking up that I can leave the first screen. Also the MIB guy feels very strong. He ended my adventures quite a lot of times.
very good idea!I like the mechanism of this game!
I hope that I can have more upgrading capacity and recovery resources
Overall, really fun! I think the quirky artstyle really suits the gameplay premise, and the gameplay itself provides a simple yet fairly satisfying loop. I really appreciated how the types of humans developed and more and more started to fight back! The combat is a little one-dimensional, but I think the presence of the dash makes it a lot more enjoyable than it otherwise would be. Awesome work!
Really loved the music! I liked the variety of the aliens and that your player model could change.
Took me a while to get good at fighting the enemies, got better when I noticed the warning that they are about to attack.
Didn't like how quickly the bodies faded if you didn't collect them.
Very nice game. I didn't really understand the reproduction/cloning mechanic at first. 30 clones are A LOT, but much more doable than I thought at first.
Trees are a bit of a hassle to navigate around, and I would have tied the attack to the mouse button. Otherwise really awesome game!
Weirdly disgusting and funny game! I liked the variety of characters but it seems like I am not good enough to grow the number of aliens without dying :alien: The music is also really nice and fitting.
Amazing game. The combat mechanic is well balanced, and the dash is very important here. The concept is funny and the art is cool. Well done!
Very well presented game! Great art and aesthetics. Gameplay is fun but combat is a little clunky. At the start not being able to interact with things when the E prompt shows up made me think that the mechanic was broken. The cloning idea is very smart and overall the game is a great fit for the theme!
Combat, graphics and sound were all great, 30 was a lot though as the harvesting was very slow
The game is really nice !
Love this, it's so pretty, and sounds great too! I would just have liked a slightly more achievable goal, once you've seen all the mechanics it becomes a grind. Very good entry, congrats!
Strong game and mechanics. I like the reference of Rick and Morty! I think you could decrease the time taken to harvest bodies and reach 10 aliens, because it was a bit long at the end.
As others have said, music, art, and overall mood are all excellent. Really phenomenal work!
It was such a fun surprise when I died to realise I had returned as one of my harvested/rebirthed aliens. Awesome job.
the game's graphics is ultimate in deed...overall game is gooood...i like the eating sound lol>>
Really like the artworks of your game! The Enemys are quite hard to fight, maybe because of their speed. But i think its okay like that. Loved the mechanics of generating your extra lives! Good job!
I was like "oh no my alien got killed it will be game over again!", but to my surprise I could then control another alien "created" before. That's a good idea! Solid entry overall, good job!
great entry loved this game, nice music and really good idea
awesome game! the graphics and sounds are great! the mechanic is simple to understand and the controls are responsive, very cool concept of harvesting brains and organs to spawn more aliens, I also liked the humans response , of running in fear and others are attacking, the game has good balance of difficulty and fun, good replay value, Overall I enjoyed playing this one! Congratulations! keep it up!
Really nice game! The difficulty of the enemies feels hard but fair and managable. I wish there would be some sort of timer so you could be able to speedrun the game :D Great job!
art was like Rick and Morty. Very cool.
I really like the art :) Great job :)
Cool game with fun mechanics ) Thank you for portal gun ^^ F Pressers pay you respect
I liked the art, the combat was fun. The gameplay loop was fun but got tiring by the time I had like 8 aliens of backup. I wish there was something else to do but I also understand how jams work haha. The aliens felt very rick and morty which I liked a lot.
Combat could use a bit more of that satisfying feeling of hitting someone. Maybe a sound effect or watching the enemy get pushed away a little bit. Other than that, it was fun. I liked exploring the map
Great art style, nice polish on UI, art, menus, tutorial etc. Wish there was a bit more 'juice' in terms of the combat and the feeling of hits. Again, art style and concept was great :) Well done!
I liked this game, though its gameplay felt a little repetitive (also the consumption of bodies was a little bit slow) the artstyle, character design and theme implementation give it a lot of credit. Also liked splited map and farming specific zones where humans spawned a lot. Overall, good game!
Nice combat mechanic and arts, but overall gameplay is kinda boring. It would be nice to have some kind of progression, otherwise it is too repetitive. Nevertheless, good job!
funny idea with a funny art style that remind me some american tv cartoon. A bit to repetitive, it would have been great to be able to harvest other organs to create more powerful aliens with a combination system for example. but overall it's a pretty cool jam game !
cute graphics, although slightly disturbing :grinning:, could use a bit more variation as others noted, maybe a bit more subtle movement controls to make it feel a bit more rewarding to master. Good job overall!
I think you did a great job putting this together! The artwork was very clean, and the gameplay was working as intended. As a final product, it is very complete!
**Things I appreciated:** * The tutorial and in-game help was very clear. * The fact that enemies stayed in their frames, otherwise they would just all rush me!!
**Some recommendations:** * Switching frames and landing right on top of an enemy didn't feel too far. Maybe you could pad the areas they are able to occupy? * I got stuck by colliders more than I expected, which hindered me in some escapes.
For the next iteration, I think it could use some balancing. As it is, to get 30 living aliens would take quite a long time. The number of hearts I can harvest is mostly based on my skill at avoiding hits, which didn't always work out in my favor :D sometimes, I'd barely break even. After 10 minutes of playing, I must have made at least 12 aliens, but my counter was still only 4. Maybe you could: guarantee I'd gain a heart with every kill, or add some alien progression, so that I become stronger in some respects (faster, healthier, or doing more damage). Just something to keep the needle moving forward, rather than leaving me feeling like it's 2 steps forward and 1 step back. You know?
Great game! Really unique and interesting gameplay. And the art is really fun.
I didn't manage to beat it because it started to feel a bit grindy, and I never really felt like I was getting ahead. I think the game needs some smaller objectives to keep me interested, instead of just the single long-term goal of reaching 30 aliens. Maybe unlockable upgrades, abilities, buildings, etc.
And the combat could feel a bit better. Whenever a game combines directional abilities controlled with WASD and dodging, it always feels really tedious and clunky to me. Dodge away from the enemy, then try to turn around and attack without walking into their attack, then turn around and dodge away again, etc. Combat would feel a lot more fluid if you moved and dodged with WASD and attacked with the mouse.
But over all it's a really solid entry.
