Nice submission, reminds of the old Adventures Of LoLo game. Well done!

Nice submission, reminds of the old Adventures Of LoLo game. Well done!
This game was so cute! Def one of my faves. There was one glitch in the 2nd level, where I got the coins but it said I had 1 left. But when I died and restarted the level it fixed itself. Otherwise, great game!!!
Super fun and cute game! One bug? i found was when you jump and get hit by an enemy your charecter kinda glitches out and bounces back and fourth.
Very cute! But luring enemies into buttons gets tedious, and jumping over bullets felt unreliable at times.
Those homing enemies are brutal! Solid entry. I love the art and concept. Simple and easy to pick up and play. Great work!
Congratulations for making this game! A classic experience, with few risk taking. This game clearly would deserve a more complete sound design. However, at no moment did any problem make me lose the immersion, so that's always a plus in my book.
This game makes me want mushrooms, and to not be taunted by large cacti rolling pins. I can hear them whispering their sweet nothings. Never trust the cacti. Also awesome style! Congrats on the submission!
That's a nice top-down platformer you got there, you got all this 3-dimensional movement working well, so I appreciate that.
The gameplay generally worked well, though I've found luring the enemies to be somewhat annoying. Still, the game kept me interested enough to keep playing to the end, so good job with that.
I think the graphics fit well together and have some charm to them; animation certainly helps with that, too. The sound effects were alright, but I'd really prefer if there was some matching soundtrack, so that I could adjust my phones volume before getting to the end-of-level sound effect (I had somewhat high volume set, so when I reached the end, I was a little startled by the unexpected sound effect).
When it comes to the theme execution, it felt pretty weak. Many games this Jam try to evoke the "start with nothing" feeling by giving some kind of tangible and permanent progression, so that it feels like the player starts with nothing and works their way up. The closest thing to theme here is that every level you start with no coins and no buttons pressed, which many games do without even trying to match the theme. ^^'
Overall, quite a solid and somewhat challenging entry - good job. The use of theme could have been more prominent, though.
Cute game, and it was fun to play through the levels. But the sounds were a bit jarring without any music to back them up. I didn't really run into any bugs, although the spiky enemies are mean, and scared me when they first came at me haha.
The only thing I'd change is that you can move faster when moving diagonally. There's a really simple mathematical fix to stop that from happening (normalize your movement), so that your character will run the same speed in every direction!
Overall, well done! :)
Great package! Game mechanics were taught really well. I liked the length of the game, it was just enough to get a feel for the game without getting bored. Well done!
This is great! I love the art and the controls are really solid for a jam game.
My only complaint is that I wish the player was a little faster overall, since some of the levels felt too empty.
Really great job!
I am not generally a fan of this type of game (mostly because I can't play them). But this one was cute. Everything seemed to work and figuring out how to play was easy. Well done!
normaly iam not that good in those types of games but this game was hard and fair together, simply put it was a fun game thanks^^
This a good game even this is a bit classic in the gameplay. I like graphics and audio ! And you're game is really fun ! Good job !
I feel like the brown spiked columns are too difficult. They accelerate when they get close to you, or perpendicular to you, and it makes them almost impossible to dodge, especially once you have to deal with more than one of them.
I like the idea of "starting with no mechanics" and easing them in one at a time, it's a clever interpretation of the theme. The graphics and sound effects are both good, could do with some music but I won't fault you for not including any, it's a hard thing to fit into a 3-day jam. Good job overall!
I really love the game, the art style and the mechanics ! It is a classic game, but it is hard and fun ! The controls are perfect, I didn't have problem with the controls. I like it ! Good job !
Cool retro-style game. Well-polished. Good level design. I liked columns mechanic. I enjoyed it, thanks! :)
Nice game. The brown pillars were a bit fast if you got too close. The turret was sufficiently irritating, especially when it can shoot through walls. I noticed sometimes I died and the last coin I picked up would not be there when the level reset.
Really nice as a game. I feel like I'm playing games that existed on Atari. Well, of course, the graphics need a little bit of polish but it's already a very good start.
Cool game you got there! The gameplay felt solid, although the brown enemy had that snowball effect on which the closest you were from it, the faster it got. The turret was also weird, since we had no puzzles using it, so it felt like just a reason to keep jumping in a rhythm, and it was very counter intuitive the way it shot through walls. But yeah, nice submission overall!
This game has cute graphics! I think I would have liked it if the character moved a little faster.
Things I didn't like: * I noticed some buggs, like when the brown tower hit me while jumping I got pushed far away, and if I happen to be pushed into a coin, the game restarted with the coin picked up already lol. * The brown tower collides with the green tower, making it stop sometimes.
Things I liked: * The level design is very cool: the mechanic which involves luring the brown tower while not getting too close is fun. * The art is cute and well done!
A nice ramp in difficulty. Graphics are simple but well polished, same with the gameplay. I can see this being a good little game once it has some music, more levels and variance in gameplay.
yay.PNG Nice game! Had fun with it, really liked the enemy variety in particular.
It was really fun and impressive. The level design and colors of the game were very nice. But there was a bug that caused coins to not appear, and the level had to be restarted. Nothing that broke the game though :)
Overall, good job!
Very nice little game. It can actually get pretty challenging!
Good idea to add a layer of difficulty every time
The design is great !
It has the potential, It could use some music and character could be a bit faster.
The main character is cute, and the gameplay mechanics are intuitive! It lacks some music and a dash mechanic could be useful, but otherwise a really good finished game :)
I enjoyed it even if I could not finish it :D It's basically a dangerous killer totem taming game
Very cute and nice gameplay! I managed to soft lock the game by simultaneously jumping and getting shot, and immediately falling into a pit. But I got pretty far I think, there are a lot of levels for a jam game!
