I really liked the game! Here's my feedback: - Incredible music! - The tally screen between rounds was *really* slow; - When I pressed the tab button (including between rounds), I saw some debugging info. That probably wasn't intended to make it out of the dev team lol - The game was too easy - I liked how in the second-to-last round, molitovs seemed to be much more common - You can drive off the edge of the field
Great game! Definitely saving this to play again later!

this is soo so good, as usual from you guys! havent played an arcade vs game like this in a while! and putting a roguelikeish upgrade system spin on it is great :) visuals are gorgeous like always, really nice music too, fits so well

love it! wish it had a little more room for strategy or skill but i enjoyed it a lot
This was so much fun. Love the crunchy pixels and soundrack is stellar! The round based race kind of thing takes me back to playing micro-machines for some reason :)
Simple and fun - I really love this game!

I had so much fun playing this game, the core idea is great, fun and I can see a lot of potential for a multiplayer party game. I'd love to see where this project goes from there! Game feel & sound design is top notch!

Amazing entry! The graphics look stellar, the game sounds great and is just very polished overal. My only feedback is that the score screen could have been a little faster, or is skippable with a button. But that's all!
Great game, is it multiplayer ? If not, it really could :D
Sick game! I love to see that retro shader effect that makes the whole game feel like your in an arcade.

Great work, the quality of the game is amazing for just 72h. Multiplayer would be a great addition !
Such a good game. The music is a bop, the gameplay is unique and fun, the upgrades make sense and the items are really fun too. I got a score of 244k+. Really enjoyed this. Well done!

YEAH BOIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII
Really top notch game! The visuals are very polished, and the intense audio really added to the thrill of the gameplay. The elimination of competitors as your go also lets the tension build over time. It feels almost like an amped up version of a Mario Party minigame. There's some interesting strategy involved in figuring out how to maximize your yield, although I found it pretty easy to beat everyone by a wide margin just by focusing on harvesting. Still, this is a very polished, well realized game, and I had a blast playing it. Amazing work!

Hey Remy and group! Thank you for the game! The song is fantastic and very rad! The game is super fun, and the free for all in the beginning is great!
The one thing that kinda bugged me is that the score counting at the end was sloooooooooow! I look forward for the full version of the game!
(By the way, this works great with Wine! Didn't have to launch proton for this one :-D)
I like it. But it is hard to make the power-ups effective (except for speed boost). I think a multiplayer version would benefit the game a lot. The music is great, the visuals are nice, it is a funny idea; Well done!

This is amazing for a game jam entry! You absolutely nailed the 16-bit aesthetic: the graphics and music are spot-on (there's even a CRT filter!) I was expecting there to be only one round, so for there to be *four* rounds, with random upgrades between each one, was a very pleasant surprise.
I think my main feedback points are things that have already been touched upon. The power-ups feel under-utilised - it's way too easy to win without ever using them - and the score tally at the end of each round is far too slow. I think there should at least be a way to skip it.
Overall, though, this is a very enjoyable game with a staggering amount of polish for 72-hour development window. I'm excited to see what the full game will end up looking like!
Excellent ! Le concept est super, c'est très amusant, très bien réalisé ! Good Job !

Really solid entry. I love the music; was it made with a tracker? Sounds like old tracker music from the 90s. Anyway, bonus point for the menus and espacially a11y settings.

Harvest is nice, seems like that game will develop into a multi-player game
There is nothing i can say that doesnt feel like an understatement, just crazy ridiculous polish, and a fun concept, amazing submission!

This was an absolute pleasure to play! From the graphical aesthetic to the gameplay, everything was polished to a T. It was great to see another game take a shot at physically harvesting a large area (we cut ours with a scythe in Harveyster) and would be interested in how you implemented yours. I could see this being a lot of fun in multiplayer too, if you can work out a way to synchronise the world state efficiently :)

Really amazing gamefeel, great controls, beautiful and dynamic graphics and FX. It feels just a tad classic in the gameplay, I'm missing a little twist or something to add a bit of depth to make it perfect. This said it's still ridiculously well done for 72h !

The hardcore music really added to the intensity.
Speed boost was by far the most powerful powerup.

Really fun! I wish there was a "Bonk" sound or something whenever you crash into someone. Really fun! Great graphics!

One of my favorites of the jam!! The gameplay was so addictive. I only wish there was actually multiplayer because I found the AI to be too easy :)
➕100% theme usage
➕great sounds, music and graphics
➕well-executed multiplayer feel
➕good tournament "size", especially for jam
➖weapons are not so useful

Crazy. Fun. Over-the-top. This feels great! Cool! It is obvious that you are used to create polished games quickly.

This was really cool. One minor complaint is that while it make sense logically that the number of "contestants" gets whittled down each round, from a gameplay perspective it felt a little bit backwards: the game gets simpler and less hectic as it progresses, rather than developing into something more complex as you play...
Gameplay feels solid and fun! Altough I feel like the powerups should have more use and maybe even a possibility of lowering another competitors score so it wouldn't be all about who gathers the most. Right now the best way is to go get speed boosts and not care about other competitors at all. Music and art is great and I love the CRT filter. Overall a great, well polished entry!

cool! but so easy, i need pvp)
Instead of some exotic idea/mechanic, this is a perfectly made harvester battle race. Beautiful!
Fun arcade game. I played on the controller and it took a little while to get a feel for forward on one stick and turning left-right on another. For me the speed would have felt more natural one on each bumper and then the turning on the left stick. But not a big issue.
Enjoyed the game, great feel on the title screen and fun to play.

Now this is a game that deserves a top 10 nomination. Gamefeel is to good in combination wit the music.

Holy moly! How you guys pulled this off in a weekend is next to incredible! You must be a really well-practiced team to achieve such a slick product.
My only gripe is the scores take a little long to tally on the post-game screen. SPACE to skip or at least speed it up would be nice. Otherwise this is a perfect entry for me. Congrats guys!!
@miltage Yes, it's engine (by @trasevol-dog) seems very promising too based on this aspect: https://trasevol-dog.itch.io/sugar

Everything about this game is so polished that it's hard to even come up with anything interesting to say beyond nice work. The only thing I would mention is that many of the game's fun moments happen when you're close by to the other harvesters, but the gameplay seems to encourage finding your own area of the map to maximize your harvest score which seems a bit counterproductive. A way to further incite the player to get into the melee would be nice. Other than that, playing this game makes me go "Ah, so it's possible to achieve something like this in 72 hours..."
Wow this is so cool. I love the art style. It is fun to play. Very polished game. Actually it is great idea to compete in wheat cropping. And there is a fire 😍 check my game I have fires too 😁
The artstyle is fantastic! Wow!
The gameplay is fun but it's a little simple and the offensive items seem difficult to put to good use.

This was seriously fun to play. It would make a great couch co-op game!! I'll be waiting for the multiplayer release so I can challenge my friends. Solid work on all aspects. I especially enjoyed the knock-out style (though maybe that would be worth making optional for co-op).

Only feedback is that the score tallying takes too long. I think it could be sped up a whole lot and have the same effect. If you can do the math, the results are there in front of you anyway.

So impressive what you created in such a quick time! :open_mouth: The score screen is really slow to resolve :grimacing:
I think I figured out a winning strategy (just following all of the borders), but was still enjoying the play because of the nice controls :ok_hand: Love the music and aesthetics too! Nice Game settings too ^^
That was the best game that i have played in this jam exept my game
In 2018, the largest developer in the Middle East, Emaar Properties, announced the construction of a new Emaar Beachfront community in the bay opposite Mina Seyahib between two important areas – the Palm Jumeirah and Marina Dubai. The complex will include 27 buildings of five sub-communities. In Marina Vista, Sunrise Bay, Grand Bleu Tower and Beach Vista, there will be two towers. Luxury villas will be put up for sale in Beach Isle. In total, the developer will offer buyers about 10,000 apartments, including: • 1- to 4-bedroom apartments; • 3- and 4-bedroom penthouses; • 3- and 4-bedroom villas. The elite residences will have access to two private beaches, public areas and entertainment venues, as well as popular locations in the Emirates Hills, JBR and Downtown Dubai. In addition, foreigners can purchase housing here, as the community belongs to the freehold zones. Emaar Beachfront https://emaar-beachfront-properties.com/ is expected to be put into operation in 2023.
