Nice Submission! I liked the ambiance of it all, lighting is always really hard to get right in 2D games. One thing that was rather tough for me, was finding where the objective takes place. Maybe an arrow or some sort of indicator that points in the right direction would definitly help. Overall lovely game! (Aside from the fact you are dripping off into insanity and the world is about to end...)

Thanks ! We were thinking of giving a mini map or something, an arrow would have been an good idea. There a few problems in the game, but good suggestion to take along to the next one :)

I really liked the atmosphere in this game. The graphics and lighting were nice and the mini games gave the game a lot of flavor. There seems to be a lot of issues with the HTML version, since my controls froze three times, but when that didn't happen I had a decent time.

The atmosphere is great, gives off those creepy vibes. The only issue is that I had a very hard time figuring out where I need to go.

I am having some problems with the controls in the red/green bar minigame: pressing the W key does nothing (I was playing the web version on itch.io)

Very cool! Is the lack of a map a deliberate choice? The place felt big and scary for the first few shifts lol

ardorugus 2021-10-06 13:30

Nice concept, but a bit frustrating. Unstable, aye. Music feels more like fairy. But the idea of abandoned nuke space with some tasks to do (yet hard to get done) is quite into the theme.

Really neat entry! The idea was cool and it felt tense running around the place trying to keep it going. The atmospheric sounds were a nice touch and really added to the mood. Maybe some sort of indicator as to where you've got to go next? Also it's nice to pee in game so good job 👏👏

The ambience is really good and well done. I like the concept of it. I do wish that there's something that indicate where to go or a gneral map since I felt the world is really huge.Good effort :)

It's a good idea I think, but definitely needs a little more polish. That and a little more guidance would be helpful, either by providing a (rough) map of the facility that the player can consult (if you want to keep them feeling a little bit disoriented), or by giving them some kind of marker to indicate where they're meant to be going - because for the first few shifts I was 100% just wandering aimlessly around this gradually melting down nuclear reactor that I am in no way qualified to maintain. Also, I think I hit a slight bug with the sanity pills (web version on itch.io), I had to stand off to the left of the health station thing before it would register I was pressing F (despite the prompt being on screen). Overall though, solid effort!

I find the ambience and idea for the game very fitting for the theme. The graphics are also nice, and it's quite impressive to design a level this big during the jam.

However, i found a bit difficulty finding where i am supposed to do the tasks (maybe it could include some hints as arrows, minimap or something) and after the first day no more tasks appeared for me. I don't know if this is a bug (tried the HTML5 version).

Good job on developing this game!

Nice game, reminds me of Among Us. The player movement animation is smooth as butter. There's a nice ambience around the game. I would've loved a map or a mini-map to navigate around.

Good atmosphere, interesting idea. Sometimes it's hard to find the task

criobite 2021-10-21 01:53

Nice little game! It was confusing at first not having a map, but that adds a bit of a challenge so it's not such a bad thing. I didn't get any tasks the 3rd day so I just wondered around until meltdown, wasn't sure if missed anything (I played the HTML5 version).

Where is that alarm!? Two days straight of it going off. Lol. Thanks for letting me play!
