Really cool game, like the 3D graphics and cave setting!

Nice graphics :)

This was a nice cute little game with a unique take on the theme, I enjoyed what I played of it :)

The atmosphere in this game is simply wonderful. I really love the combination of glowing magmatic surroundings and the bassy sounds of platforms grinding along. It was really relaxing. ... but part of why it was relaxing was that there wasn't a ton to the puzzles! What was your intention with the mechanic for charging batteries? I think it would be really interesting if, say, you had a platform that was travelling through sun so you could only get a partial charge, or if you could use partial charges at all. But in the puzzles you've made so far, all it does is make players wait with batteries before they use them. Basically, the concept is really intriguing, but I don't know if it was explored enough! I'm still really glad I played this game, though. It mellowed out my evening.

This is a certified mushroom classic.

Anyway, couple of notes: I couldn't figure out if you can put the batteries down, so I just had to kill myself if I got the puzzles wrong Uhhm, the graphics are nice, music is nice, I like the execution of the game, I think literally my only note is there should either be a way to put the battery down, or a reset button :) OH! Also the battery charging was kinda goofy, nuff said

Excellent little puzzle game. Being able to pick up the batteries if a mistake is made, or reload the puzzle wpuld be nice. I could definitely see the potential for development into a full game.

@goldenxd @jujus Thanks!

@judjudson Thanks for the feedback! My initial idea was to make a game where the harvest would be the light, where the character would collect the light to do something, during development I had the idea of the mushrooms, so I changed the focus, but I kept the mechanic that I had already done of collecting the sunlight. About the puzzles, I thought of making a difficulty curve, making the game easier at the beginning and more difficult at the end, but due to time, there was a lack of polish which made the puzzles too easy.

@calzone407 Thanks for the feedback! In fact there is no way to drop the batteries, I had thought of that but time was too short to implement, the only way to restart the level was to jump into the lava, I added a restart button in version 1.1.

@uraffululz Thanks for the feedback! It was in my plans to do the mechanics of dropping the batteries and removing them from the platform, but I didn't have time to implement it, I added a restart button in version 1.1.

A simple and enjoyable little game! He reminded me of Wall-e and the controller reminded me of the Star Wars Lego game droids! nice work!

A simple game but effective. I like the robot and i think it's a nice work for only 72h of dev.

This was really nice, did you make all the assets yourself?? Looked super polished and clean, movement felt good and the puzzles were also well thought-out (even if a bit on the easier side). Camera especially was handled really well and added a lot of dynamism to the experience. Music was also super cool and it was a shame that it would reset every level, which meant that I could seldom hear most of the track.

The only (and extremely minor) issue I have with it is that I couldn't read the tutorial for how you're supposed to charge batteries so I had to figure it out on my own by roaming around at random. Other than that, this is a really solid entry!

Nice graphics and music, the last levels make you think. There are very few levels and they end as soon as it becomes interesting. You wait for what you come up with next, and it ends. And it is not clear why the mechanics of batteries is needed, this does not affect the pazzles. But in general - the game leaves a good impression, I just want more. Good job!

leorototo 2023-01-26 14:34

Very nice graphics! I didn't understood the "charging battery" mechanics and his utility, I think you could remove it But nice !

fuzzyat 2023-01-26 18:00

Impressive!

Thanks to the detailed tutorial and introduction, everything was very intuitive. The presentation is great for such a small game. The only changes I would want is very fast or instant charging for the batteries, and more levels, which could be seen as a good thing, if players want more!

eloraju 2023-01-26 21:43

Really great job! One of the best scaling I've seen in a puzzle game in a while  The battery charging mechanic felt a bit tacked on since it didn't really add anything to the gameplay. But since that was the only actual issue I had with this I have to say that this was a really impressive one!

Super fluid robot control, really beautiful graphics, and solid, simple puzzle mechanics make this a really zen experience. The sunshine recharge mechanic is interesting but I do wish it were utilized more, it didn't seem to change the gameplay much beyond slowing it down. Nevertheless this is really ambitious for a jam game and great work putting it together in such a short time!

lizelive 2023-01-27 03:00

the graphics are great and the puzzle is sholid. i don't really think it did much with theme, but it was really ambitious and fun experiance! great work!

duncan-3 2023-01-27 03:01

i like that the inability to put the batteries down was used in the last level as a puzzle mechanic. with how the battery recharging mechanic currently is, it's just waiting under sunlight until it's charged. if the battery charging was related to something other than time, i think it'd make it much more interesting.

Whoa, very nice mood. The calm music, soft lighting, and happy little robot worked well together. I made it to the end. I understand time constraints can be tough, but the levels were just starting to get good so I was curious to see what would come next.

The sunlight mechanic sounded nice in theory but in practice it often meant that I had to sit and do nothing while waiting for batteries to charge, which was a minor nuisance.

Nice work on explaining all of the controls and mechanics within the game. It was very quick to learn how to play.

digital-bacon 2023-01-27 10:02

Cute little game! Nice graphics, easy-to-grasp problem solving gameplay, and a cute little robot to top it all off! Some camera controls would've been nice, but otherwise excellent work!

pikario 2023-01-27 12:41

Nice little game ! Love the camera movements and the controls, very smooth :)

I don't understand the mechanic of charging the battery, as I just had to wait, it was a little frustrating. Maybe you could have added a spatial aspect in this mechanic ? Like it's charging only near a mushroom ?

But it was quite a pleasant game, I wish there were more levels !
