What port does the game run on? I didn't see that written anywhere.
Foon → Ludum Dare Explorer → LD47 → Project Cybold: Operation Ludum47

@eckkert Port 7777, my bad I thought that was placed in the Bio, guess it did not save ^^"
It's pretty fun! Bonus points for managing to squeeze in multiplayer!
As far as the graphics, the UI and lighting could use some work, but the modelling for the characters is pretty good!
For the gameplay, I think it's in major need of a rebalance. It's easy to dodge most of the enemies no problem and if you just camp the spawns at the beginning you're pretty much invincible. I didn't even know you could destroy the spawns until I accidentally shot at one so it was just this endless barrage of bots that upgraded my cannon to absurd levels of strength. I couldn't see a clear relation to the theme either.
Overall, a fun one, but needs some work.
@matchaflavor Thank you for the review!
Overall I have the same points in my own "What I would do differently" notepad, but you do what you got with the time allowed ^^
Awesome gameplay with good graphics!
Really nice visual design and well executed mechanics. Also impressive to see multiplayer in a jam game. My main feedback is that it maybe needs some graphics optimizations for low end stuff (although I'm running it on a fairly old laptop so this probably isn't an issue?) it also seems very easy to just run past all the enemies?
The gameplay was actually really fun!
When you max out your weapon level, it turns into a satisfying slaughterfest. Before that however it's pretty boring. at the early weapon levels, it feels like your weapon is glitched since there is no hit feedback at all. The bullets fly through enemies and they keep moving unfazed. Since they take more than one hit to kill, and there are a lot of enemies at once, it feels like your bullets aren't doing anything.
The core of the game is pretty solid though and I could have a lot of fun with a polished and balanced version, especially playing with a friend.
You did a good job on this given the time constraints.
also, I don't know if i got to the final boss. It was a boss that instead of dying, made some light dome thing that caused the game to lag for a bit before sending me back to the beginning. Was this like a hard end to the game or just a glitch?
@cfdj43 Thank you! And yea we were compressed on time, I hope to optimize more in the future ^^, as for AI and balancing, if I had more time I would have improved it
@skleembof Thank you for your kind words! We had a lot of fun making this game, sadly yea do to the time Balancing and a few bugs leaked through ^^". As for the ending boss you actually hit the loop! Got to make sure to take out the generators to break it ;)
I really enjoyed this! I like the art style, seeing this was multiplayer was a surprise but a welcome! Though it was a bit buggy, which is to be expected, I quite enjoyed it! Great work!!
Played it with the other person in my team! Super fun and simple, i liked the character design. I am curious about their backstories! A few bugs, but what can you expect. I really liked that you tried to include multiplayer.
Well done for taking up the challenge of making a network game. If I can give you a tip it's this: you should make a tutorial available in the game menu  And I love the art :paintbrush:
A really fun twin stick shooter! It's so cool how there's network multiplayer, i think that's the first time I've seen that in an LD game. I really like the art, in particular the character designs are very cool. Great job!
