hey @mrpoopybutthole, thanks for the comment - we just pushed an update which should fix that problem :sparkles:
That is cool, I’m surprised by the amount of content you were able to create in three days!
Didn't really understand how to find the recipe to complete the first quest, my nekonomicon wouldn't let me turn the pages Nice art though
@antoine-bodin Unfortunately we didn't manage to implement hints on how to get what effect in the Nekonomicon, so it just relies on trying out different ingredient combinations. The quests are fully randomised though, so if you start a new run, you'll get a different quest.
little confused when first try, maybe better if add some tutorial, the game content is really nice, good job!
Lol, "*insert deep backstory*" Wow, you added a lot of text in here! I like the animal art. Obviously, some animations and sound could be nice. And... :( I can't figure out what to do. I'm guessing I'm supposed to be able to click on the words in the "You need to use at least 2 words of the following words in the name" page to progress, but I can't click on anything.
Overall I found the game to have interesting potential, but it's a bit complex and confusing to play. Would've been cool to maybe scope down a little, and add some extra polish :]
Here are a few notes I took while playtesting:
- Got a bug where after talking to a client, the little speech bubble stayed open and the controls got stuck. Had to restart the game. - Would've been nice if the difficulty of mini games correlated with the quantity/rarity of resources you got from them. For example, in the beehive game, you would get better stuff when the beehive is moving faster - Having to go up and down the stairs get tiring quickly :P Would be nice if we could buy an elevator or something. - The brewing interface is a bit annoying. I feel like it would be nicer there was a single click to add an ingredient. - Would be nice to see the stats of an ingredient from the brewing interface. - The rewards from the quests do not seem worth it. - Some menus can be closed by hitting the same key (e.g. C for cauldron), while others only allow ESC. Would be nice to have consistency. - In the inventory, the potion stats are very tiny and hard to read. It would be useful to have a way to see them big, like right after brewing. - I've tried a bunch to get a client to accept a potion, but I never could get its taste right. This game is hard!
This game is fun I liked it a lot :D.
Impressed by how complete this game is! (And I love the black cat so much LOL) Also have the same feeling that add more instructions would help for firt-time players!!! Overall good job!
Couldn't really understand how to do things but I did play some of the mini games and they were decent. Great Job :)
I like the concept and there's a lot to the game. However, there's also a lot to take in, and most of the UI could be a lot more streamlined and consolidated. Also, would have loved to see at least one more frame in the "animations". Nonetheless, nice work. cat.gif (Here's a quick mock up)
I liked the concept and you'd managed to add a lot considering the time given which is impressive but I did find it quite confusing without enough tutorial/hints. I couldn't work out how to actually use the ingredients or make potions but it was fun collecting the honey and the fish!
The fact that you're an alchemist cat is very cute and hilarious. The minigame concept is a fun idea and it was interesting to explore them. I could see this idea being built out as a full blown game, with audio, etc.
The line graph concept is really cool but I found it nearly impossible to get even the first recipe, maybe I missed something basic. I tried making potions for every ingredient, but that filled my inventory beyond the ability to scroll.
Overall fun and endearing game with lots of character, and would love to see where it can go with more time!

Very impressed on how much you were able to implement, although it is also quite confusing about what to do.
