I think your canvas isn't working correctly, my UI wasn't showing properly

Really enjoyed this! My first couple of attempts before I 'got' it didn't feel great as it initially seemed like I just dug mostly straight down until I got stuck and died but once I started to understand it and use my brain a little I had a lot of fun. Maybe some kind of tutorial would help? Not sure. Really clever idea with how much depth and interesting strategic decisions you get out of relatively few types of tile. My only complaint is I couldn't figure out a good way to reset other than alt-f4 and relaunch, but overall very well done.

This was super cute, loved the graphics and the game was intuitive and responsive! Very impressive work for a game jam!!

Really cute graphics! At the speed I wanted to play it, I could barely avoid the obstacles. My best depth was 186m!

The artwork on this is really great, especially the character and that first scene with the sky in the back, those really got me. The gameplay itself is pretty good overall as well, it has a lot of potential for interesting little puzzles depending on how the blocks get laid out.

I think adding a little bit more feedback to the destruction of a block would make it feel a lot more impactful, particularly adding some sound in when you do it. It may also be beneficial to slow down the players ability to break through blocks, I know my first instinct when bursting through them so quickly was to rapidly speed down the level as fast as possible which lead to me taking a lot of very avoidable deaths. I'm not sure if that would make it feel clunky or not, it would take some testing to get right for sure.

Overall I like it a lot, Pedro seems like he wouldn't take anybody's crap about him not being a mole.

Liked the game, art is gorgeous. Next time you do a pixel art in unity make it less blurry - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E9GilOgdW2M (tutorial how to).

this graphics in this game are so cute! pedro seems like a hella dank duck :duck: so great job on that! it took me a bit to get the flow of the game but it was a nice play afterwards. great job :)

Cute music and pixel art with decent dithering for the title screen. The pixel art shouldn't have been filtered in my opinion though. Could've used some sound effects for more feedback to the player. Rather annoying that there was no way to restart other than restarting the entire game since it was kind of fun once you got the hang of it.

Very cute game - took me some attempts to realize the lava was killing me :D

A way to retry without rage quitting the game would be nice.

It's an interesting concept, but it needs more polishing. The interface (The depth text) right now is showing in the middle of the screen. Also after death, I didn't get any "Start again" button, so I had to Alt+F4 and run it again. The game itself is interesting and has potential. The graphics and the animation are great, the music is nice. You only need to add minor tweaks to make it look like a real finished game.

Good game! I like a well-polished art style and cool music. I think some improvements could be made. First of all, the restart button. Second, it is possible to be completely blocked by rocks and magma. Anyway, good job!
