Its MEGA and also KINECTIC. The intro is super well made and the game is fun as well!

AWESOME GAME

r3d3r 2020-04-21 12:48

This was a lot of fun to play really enjoyed it! Adorable designs and the colours match very well with the environment! My only concern is the balance with with sound effects with the music. The sound effects are way to loud compared to the music but it works every time you keep it bouncing :D Thank you so much hope to see more updates of your game :)

gelgavish 2020-04-21 13:02

Hi, that's a really good game! it's really polished, I really liked the way you went with the theme, it's really original! the graphics are simple and cute and the music and the sound effects are great too. The intro was nice as well.

Notice that sometimes the alien bumps really fast in the same place and you get about 10 points.

Have a nice day :)

kirsty-lee 2020-04-21 14:28

Love the intro! Super fun and easy to play! Well done!

ashashza 2020-04-22 08:01

This is so charming. Like others, I enjoyed the intro (and the ability to skip is a nice touch.)

The character designs are adorable and their movement feels pretty satisfying. The legs, the body weight shifting, the alien's squashyness!

I found it pretty challenging to get to 10+ bounces. It felt like I either just couldn't get to the landing spot fast enough or my own shadow mixed with the alien's shadow and I got confused. I guess I need to eat more strawberries :)

Cool jam.

awesome game!

slurp1e 2020-04-22 14:56

Really fun game to play. I spent a good amount of time on it xD The visuals are nice and cartoony , the mechanics are also nice and 'boopy' xD Aliens were adorably questionable xD

fran-gambero 2020-04-22 14:56

I liked a lot the intro, but I think I didn't undertand how to bonce the ball? It was difficult to hit againts the walls or if I had to keep it in the air. Overall I didn't find any bugs so I enjoyed playing besides that.

Loved the artstyle and general mood of the game!! The controls were a bit complex for me, but great for a Jam game, awesome job!

alkis 2020-04-22 15:07

Very funny and well polished game! I enjoyed it a lot, the graphics, the gameplay, the music and the sound effects were very nice. I really liked the toon shading on the characters. Amazing work!

cannocchiale 2020-04-22 15:08

Loved the game! The graphics is so cute!! Also the intro is perfect!

fabula-rasa 2020-04-22 15:09

That is a first digital version of hacky sack I ever saw  Graphics were very pleasant to look at - you chose your color scheme nicely! The game is simple yet fun. Good work!

tadej 2020-04-22 16:00

Really nice art style, good sfx, fun to play and overall nicely polished. Good job :)

Corners can be exploited a little bit. If you manage to trap the "ball" between your character and the corner you can get a lot of points. Maybe an octagonal arena or something like that would help.

sklaiser 2020-04-24 00:09

Nice art style and camera, very polished :)

ruddgasm 2020-04-24 00:15

This game was a lot of fun and I really liked the graphics a lot. I was wondering how high of a score do you need for the message to be more positive, or if there is even a win state. Overall the game felt well polished and I didn't run into any issues playing it. It was a fun experience.

coleslaughter 2020-04-25 00:21

This is a really fun one with a lot of personality! :) I did run into some issues where I would bounce against the alien, and he wouldn't reset to yellow, but that didn't detract from my overall enjoyment.

I think the game is at its best when the alien is flying around the arena at high speeds while I try to keep up with it. xD Very bold move making a physics-based jam game, but I'd say it paid off!

comocosmos 2020-04-25 01:29

Got a score of 61! This was great! I loved how simple the concept was and how much i wanted to keep playing it. Really fitting music track as well. You've got something pretty neat here for sure!

maximum science achieved!

I love the models. I often early in a game would drop an fairly easy feeling ball. I can't quite put my finger on why, but I think i was having trouble telling whether the ball further y or z of me. Maybe having the ball change color slightly when it goes higher might help. Or maybe i just have horrible depth perception lol. Good game!

fancypants 2020-04-26 11:39

Nice game, I like the general mood of it, and the art style matches the game mechanics pretty well.

Bouncing the specimen was a bit awkward, though, as I had some trouble judging the depth of objects, in particular the position of the specimen relative to my character(might have something to do with the perspective?). Also, I was able to get the specimen stuck in a corner and just spam the slam button to get a really high score. :D

duck-reaction 2020-04-26 16:37

Very good entry, this nice art and nice particles effects. I also like the music.

I didn't realy get why the alien become red and die, so it's a bit frustrating. There is a hack, if you block the alien in corner you can get a high score in few seconds.

Overall, very good job.

trexxak 2020-04-26 18:26

Slick, smooth experience all around!

Was a lot of fun trying to keep the specimen alive, although the perspective sometimes tricked me into thinking I could make it reset when I obviously couldn't :'D

lazygamedevza 2020-04-27 17:30

I really liked the art-style and the concept was interesting as well. It was a tad difficult judging the trajectory of the specimen, but overall still fun to play.

2020-04-30 13:31

Really funny game. I included it in my Ludum Dare 46 compilation video series, if you want to take a look. :) https://youtu.be/U94ABx1ev3Y

joekinglake 2020-05-02 11:48

Nice take on the theme! Interesting idea for an alien Haha! I really love your art style! Really very polished, great work :-)

sassykeys 2020-05-02 12:29

I loved this! 76 btw. Also gives the theme "Keep it Alive" a metaphorical meaning which I think was really smart. Top drawer game!

fatpenguin 2020-05-02 13:40

What a cute looking game! The cellshader looks splendid! :) UI is nice and the storymode is sooo cute! The gameplay was kind of hard to grasp and the game overall is a bit too hard. I didn't really notice a difference if you slam compared ti just standing under the speciment? Also what do the tomatos do? :3 The movement of the player felt funny, I would work on that and make achievements like having to make the specimen hit certain areas for points or something, or maybe make him evoid certain areas? :)

Congratz on finishing your game, looks amazing :)

skyeward 2020-05-02 17:20

Saw your post and thought I'd help you hit 50 ratings because that what we're going for too. It's great! It feels a lot like something I'd work on so you won me over pretty quickly. Great intro cutscene, great audio, great core premise, very silly very committed to its style - really good work!

Also not to brag (obviously to brag) but I'm pretty proud of my high score

docgeraud 2020-05-03 09:13

Really cool and polished game! I manage to do a score of 23 (yeah, not great). But I had a lot of fun playing it. The character controler feels really nice. Great job :D
