Really cool idea! The sound was pretty good, and the controls were a bit annoying but still fine. My only complaint is the fact that there is no cap to how many things you can place, so you can just spam a random object the slow time down and sacrifice a lot of people, without any consequence.

@alastairwyn You're absolutely right. Limiting items is something I'm definitely going to do. But not with a standard limit (maxnumtrees = 200; LUL) I'm going to make the game tile based so you can only place that one tree or that one rock or that one farm. That way, you still have uncapped resources, only limited by space. I don't really know what to do about the controls. I tried to make it similar to other games like this. the only part I couldn't do properly was the zooming. I could probably stand to smooth out the movement and rotation as well.

This game is great and has a lot of potential. I like the little citizens which are moving around and trying to do stuff. And I totally get the rome reference ( pleb = plebus = a class of lower educated and poor citizens in rome). The game looks a bit unpolished without music many graphics etc. and you can fly out of the world ( I saw that interesting room under the world ). But all in all it is really cool. I see the work you put in here and you can create a full game from this seed. Good Job :)

Firstly the idea it's good but de design could be improved. The controls aren't family friendly, for example, why do I have to change between tree, rock and farm to break them?.

In relation to the graphics I like the kind of graphics you are trying to do, the people looks good, but there are a lot of things that need to be better.

In conclusion if it's only one person, I think there are a lot of work in here and I apreciate that. But I have to say that it's too ambitious for one person.

@drskort thanks so much. Yeah it definitely has potential.Yes I definitely need to limit the camera. Yeah. The room under has a special use. One day it will be in use. And the full game will definitely happen!!

@adrian-guevara thanks so much for the feedback. Yeah the controls are pretty standard in 3D modelling software and are similar to those in Unity lol bit of an oversight on my part. Great suggestion to make breaking the farms,rocks,and trees regardless of what's selected. The placement is a bit more tricky but I think i have a solution for that. some kind of selection can appear when you hold shift and you chose which one you want to place. but the breaking should work regardless. and yes It's just me making the game. Much too ambitious I agree. But I went for it and got pretty deep into it. And now I just want to keep going. Thanks for the feedback!!

Interesting game. I was a little confused on what the overall objective was, it wasnt super clear. The overall controls were a bit muddled. I had to keep looking at the controls to figure out what I was doing. Another thing that I noticed was the people kept gathering in large groups in the corners of the map and would start to bug out if too many were there. Once those things got out of the way it was enjoyable it just needs that extra step to be taken. Overall I liked the concept and I think you made good use of the theme.

I enjoyed the game. Art style was cute and the concept is sound. One problem I had was that it felt like the camera moves too slowly. I also didn't really know what my end goal was. Perhaps if there were some missions or something to work against...

All in all, great work! :)

Hahahahahahahahaha try placing a farm block under a citizen and watch what happens... that made my day! Cool game, unfortunately it feels unfinished or at least non polished. A cool concept though, I actually had a lot of fun playing it!

Fun concept around balancing sacrificing versing maintaining power. It feels a little unpolished graphically and some adaptive audio would really sell the changing moods of the gods. I hope you keep working on it and keep up the good work!

Interesting take on a city-building sim. The theme felt a bit forced, but the mechanics were pretty good. It was unclear to me when the game was "done" --I got to 5,000 points, but wasn't sure what to do after (although I might have missed something somewhere). Hand animations were surprisingly choppy, since the rest of the game ran very smooth!

@ruddgasm there was no objective honestly!! lol I was just trying to get the shell of a game i eventually want to create to work. I have some of the basics now. And found out there is a bug in the game that makes all of my little plebs run along the side of the map because they couldn't figure out their pathing lol

@rytannic thank you!! Yeah, there is no goal in the version you played. Sorry. I tried but couldn't work one in there in time. With that being said, I'm working on a version of the game with a solid goal.

@pat-farnach definitely right. It is very unfinished and unpolished. I wish I had more time to figure out the different aspects that I wanted to polish. I will definitely be working on it more and it will eventually release as a full game

@lukel yes you found the notorious bug that i didn't even know was in the game until I watched @saoi-games play it on stream LUL It was awful / hilarious. I've since fixed that issue by making the things you spawn not cut a whole in the navigation mesh.

Really cool game, the theme implementation was well-executed and the graphics were appropriate. Well done! But I had no idea how to increase the influence and was clueless to what the number under Fear/Love meant :(

@hdugmag thanks for playing, yeah the number under fear and love was supposed to be the balance between them loving or fearing you too much. But the fact that I didn't differentiate between when you're in fear or love got very confusing. even for me lol Thanks for the complements!!

@dcrdro thanks for playing. Yeah I definitely needed to add some more mechanics in there that create a bit more long game for the player. Once you figure out how to balance things, it definitely doesn't hold up as a solid game. I'll try and work on that
