I'd definitely recommend listing some controls or having a tutorial. I'm not really sure if I ever really found out how to actually play the game.

It took me a while to work out the controls and figure out how to actually complete the levels. However, i think it is a very nice looking game and the audio works really very well with setting the mood
Pressing 'E' to fire didn't feel great and took me awhile to figure out. I was overall impressed by the presentation of the game, the 'cut scenes' and how it showed the premise and setting of the game where really well done. The presentation was the highlight of the game for me.
The actual gameplay was pretty rough, I only got to level 3, and basically getting there felt mostly RNG with me just spamming 'E' and sometimes I killed the enemies before they killed me.
the shoot on "e" isnt really great, it feels not good. The graphic is really cute. i love the music. i dont undertand how to play right. :hearts:
Thank you all for feedback. :) We read the comments. We fixed a bug with cat's stat distribution and added a control hint, but is it allowed to add such changes to the game at the evaluation stage? And we know about spamming the "E" button and are ready to fix it, but I don't think it's by the rules.
Simple to control, but trying to move and shoot at the same time can be a bit awkward. I would also pretty much die from just one cheese shot and the upgrades didn't seem to help. I like the idea of the game and the art for the title screen is very nice. I also liked how level progression was shown like you are slowly climbing up all the boxes.
A fun idea but I found myself doing in a single hit no matter what I did. It was an interesting mechanic to have to decide how much health I got to have versus how powerful my abilities though. Nice entry overall though!
I found it really hard to win because every time I got hit by one piece of cheese I just die, no matter what I do and what skills I choose to have. I also don't see much difference in skills I choose, my cat is moving really slow even if I put everything in speed ability. But on the other hand graphics are great, cats are cute and I loved the idea of the cat drawing lines at the end of the day.
I came here because I absolutely adore your thumbnail key-art. That looks beautiful! I wish the entire game had gone for this style. Instead, it is unfortunately not unified enough and feels like your artists didn't really talk to each other.
Wish you guys could have added some more feedback since I was super confused by the game due to the lack of visual feedback or any sound effects (except for the quite nice BGM). I think the game would have been a lot more enjoyable and easier to understand if there were some particle effects, flashing materials, more UI, animations etc..
The art direction was a little strange, but i liked a lot the intro music and the menu. The gameplay is decent, only that strength is a little bit unbalanced :smile: #maxStrengthStat Overall i finished the game and enjoyed it.
Really liked the art style in some places, and the music (that was there) fit. Would have been nice for some more sounds. I agree the controls were a little clunky, I died almost instantly most times.
An interesting idea and beautiful art. However, there is a great lack of training: at first it was not clear from what the level begins: from the fact that I fell on the mouse or fell on the floor of the box. Well, the screen saver with each reboot of the level ... breaks.
