The art and gameplay is good, but the 10 second timer, in my opinion, is way too short. I can't really read what the cards do, before the timer ends.

I really want to play this but the aspect ratio is too big for my screen.

A cool concept and gorgeous art, but being beholden to the theme makes this rough. Also if there's sound, I didn't get any.

Really nice interpretation of the theme, 10 seconds time to think is a bit short though... also not necessary since you already incorporated the 'every 10 sec'. Overall a fun game!

Very cool idea, I always love seeing card games in ludum dare. It took a few tries to get used to it, at first I thought the 10 second timer for playing was too harsh, but I came around to it eventually. If you could drag and drop the cards as well, that would be a lot more intuitive for me. The card art was really pretty!

Woow. The idea is awesome.

I have to admit, I found the tutorial kind of confusing, but once I started playing everything made sense pretty quickly. The art on your cards is very beautiful. Definitely gives off that Magic the gathering vibe. 10 seconds does feel like a short amount of time when you're new, I definitely ran out of time a few times. But once you have a decent understanding of what every card does it does a good job of keeping the pace up and inspires you to think quickly. So overall I think that's a good thing.

I wish causing damage to the opponent had more feedback. The card moving to hit the other side is a good start but a nice juicy damage number or damage blocked icon popping up would be good, I think. As it is I have to keep my eyes on the health counter to know what each card did, and when I'm trying to keep track of which card is having it's turn, I find that a little distracting.

Overall, I could see this being very fun with two players as well, although that may be a tall order. I certainly don't know how to make multiplayer games myself. But this is definitely a game I wouldn't mind playing again. Nice work!

I loved the art! The game looks incredible! My main problem is that 10 seconds was not enough time to 1) figure out what cards I had; 2) remember what each did, and 3) assess what my opponent did; 4) figure out how to respond. Some sounds would have also been nice. Sites like https://opengameart.org/ have free sound effects and music you can use for your games. It's a great concept for a game! Good luck!

love to see a card strategy game!! this was fun to play and easy to figure out. loved the detail and art on the cards -- but it would have been nice to have some quick reference indicator on them to know what each card did. i eventually remembered them all though, so that wasn't a huge issue for me. great job!!!

Took me 3 games to completely understand the rules and won the game in my 5th attempt. Nice and cool card game.
