This game is amazing!! Seriously so good, the amount of polish is off the charts. Love the graphics, love the sounds. The gameplay is a nice puzzle but not too difficult, and the animations and transitions are absolutely lovely! This is my new favorite game from the jam, I think :thumbsup_tone1:
Very cute, very cozy and very polished. So nice to play! Some puzzles are very difficult, got stuck on them a number of times! I would have loved to have a restart button to restart the level when I knew that I messed up already. Anyway, super cool game <3

Great levels of polish, nice art and audio and challenging puzzles. As someone else mentioned, a restart button would be nice, but overall really good.

Surprisingly challenging. Love the simple but polished aesthetics.
This is the best game I have played yet. Super fun, every level gives you something new to experiment with and the levels themselves are really clever. The art and sounddesign are also chefs kiss *.

@mahjoub: Hehe, glad that you like it! My hubby came up with that idea @benk: Picking up items uses an action too, so deliver the burger before you take the sushi. Also: You don't have to deliver items to the front door, delivering it from the right to the building works too ^^ @ido: Thank you so much! We playtestet it yesterday evening before uploading, so hopefully all levels should be solvable :D (hopefully! I haven't tested it after upload completely)
@benk no stop i got mini-stuck on level 3 too lmao for some reason i kept thinking you can only deliver food _in front_ of the buildings, but you can deliver it from the side too.
The art was so cute tbh and after getting over my own brain fog i managed to get to the end it was a very fun puzzle romp <3

The realistic heart at the thumbnail made me really sick... But other than that it's just standard delivery.
Also is the 4th level even possible ? You have to do everything in 12 actions somehow... 10 subs.png
Be patient @stingby12, more interesting cargo will come with higher levels. I don't want to give solutions here, but did you realise you do not have to deliver all items? And maybe picking up the second pizza at last is good here because you have to travel a longer way with it...
Damn that's a really complete game and works well congrats! The only feedback i have is that using arrow top and bottom for delivery is confusing, since i tought it was the arrow i was supposed to press on my keyboard to get/deliver the delivery! My brain had a bit of hard time to stop processing like that!
Aside from that, very well polished and complete game!
Really lovely game! I really liked the graphics used and the music was a good fit for the puzzle genre. I found the levels I did play to be quite easy to understand satisfiying when figuring out the answer!

Very nice. Art, music and gameplay fit well together. Puzzles are simple at first but get tricky later.
Stunning art, this oozes with polish! I really liked being tricked into visiting "my friends" in one of the later levels.
I didn't enjoy the tip system at first. It felt like it added complexity for no reason, but then you go on to use it to create interesting puzzles. I wonder if I'd enjoy it more if the starting puzzles didn't have tipping and later levels (like 3+) introduced it.

Really like the mood and the puzzles of this game! Reminds me of old cozy mobile games about delivery that I used to play! My only feedback is that the use of the mouse seems unnecessary, since the rest of the game is played with just keys. Other than that, great little game!

@pauljs: Ah I see your problem. We wanted to make clear which house was a supplier and which a consumer. Maybe using arrows here wasn't the best indicator. We'll think of another solution in the next version! If you've got a nice idea which doesn't overload the UI, let us know!
@fuse-in-a-bowl: We indeed cannot avoid the "tip system" completely since it delivers a lot of possibilities to form puzzles. Mh, we'll think about how we can maybe introduce this a bit later. I mean sushi is cold anyway, we could stop using the freshness indicator there maybe...
@humanisred: That is very good feedback. Changing from mouse to keyboard to mouse annoyed me too during development. We will make the game keyboard-only-accessible in the next version after the jam. Also: Your game looks super cool, I can only repeat

Amazing presentation and great work submitting a playable puzzle game. Difficulty curves and teaching moments are really hard to get right on puzzle games, and I think while this game stumbles a bit, it still does admirably for a jam.
The art and music are outstanding, and the gameplay is buttery smooth which is super great. Love to see it, and I'm jealous at the level of polish you've got here!

also i really needed a restart button instead of spamming keys once i noticed i messed up! and there was a lvl where i didnt delivered a pizza but i won anyway, could it be a bug? (or maybe i didn't understand that level)

Thanks for the compliments! @elisagonda: The retry button is indeed the first thing we'll add after the jam. And just like @jonrei remarked: You don't always have to deliver all items. Sometimes there even isn't a consumer for an item that can be supplied

The art style, animations and audio are top notch! The mechanics are fairly easy to grok, I only had to consult the readme on level 4 for a minute, which is totally fine. My only annoyance is that I have to use two input devices, but I saw that you're going to change that post-jam, so there you go :)

Some concepts were a bit unintuitive at first but as the game went on became second nature. Good solid puzzles and a great presentation.

Very fun game! Loved the artstyle, and the gameplay offers a lot of fun challenging puzzles. Think it could be more apparent that you don't need to deliver all the food, I got stuck for a very long time because I couldn't figure this out. But you expanded on the idea well with the traffic lights and the dog, good entry!
It was an incredibly fun game and concept. Also one of the most close to the theme I have seen. The music was good and the graphics fit really well. Congrats on a really good game!

A thing that really annoyed me is that it was impossible to deliver all the food on some levels. I guess this design was to mislead to make the player think beyond the obvious (and it worked, so kudos for that!) but it was also really annoying to make it totally impossible. Maybe give the player some extra movement when they had hit the money goal so they can go back and finish? I don't know what the good call would be while still maintaining the integrity of the puzzles.
Finally, a restart button would be nice. I tried looking for one but couldn't find one.

We can see that we went a bit too far with the superfluous items in some levels. We'll use less of them with in next version.

Yess! I figured out all 13 of them! That was a fun game! The graphics, sound, puzzles and feel are top notch. The difficulty curve felt right too, with the exception of the 4th level, I was stuck there a long time. It teached a valueable lesson though! Well done!

Wow, I have to say this game is absolutely fantastic! It's so much fun and each level presents new and exciting challenges to tackle. The creativity behind each level design is truly impressive! And don't even get me started on the stunning art - it's just gorgeous!

It's great! This is the best game I have played so far in LD53! Art is my favorite style. And the most rare thing is that the completion level of this game is too high! Very good work! monkey.gif
Incredibly polished art and game overall! Fantastic job! For the UI I would sometimes get confused, for example I would see the down arrow and press down to drop something off when I should have actually pressed right - maybe try using different symbols for the pick-up/drop-off?

Great puzzle one of the best puzzle levels I ve seen in the jam so far! beautiful art. only thing is I somehow missed that we just need to get to the money and didn't have to deliver all the deliveries until level 3 and got stuck there a bit. The level did its job and thought me that :laughing:

Wow! incredible! And made by only one person! And hilarious! I find it spectacular. Those graphics, that music, how well everything is done, those transitions between different parts of the game, all full of details right down to the pizza boxes as levels. It seems to me a game that to have been made in 72 hours seems to me a serious game, my most sincere congratulations, really.
Really well put together. Great presentation. The mechanics can be a little hard to parse with all of the timings which makes planning harder then it feels like it should be, but overall I really like it!

Very polished game! I really appreciate the shady progression of the game, really deepens the experience versus grinding the same mechanics for the whole time. Only wish the hint dialogues wouldn't appear when restarting the level, otherwise flawless execution!

Hi! First of all, this is one of the most polished games I played this jam! Seriously great job. The art, sfx & bgm are fantastic and the whole experience is really well made. I still have a bit of feedback though :)
- Level 3, took me a moment to figure out you can deliver from the side of a building! - Pressing two directions at once seems to move diagonally (the actions still count correctlly but for a moment I thought you could move diagonally for the same cost). - I think the buttons should change color when focused, I accidentally sent myself back to the level selection a bunch of times (I kept pressing the arrow keys as the menu popped up... XD)
Other than that, I think the puzzles get a bit too challenging too fast, I stopped at level 4 unfortunately (I did try to solve it a bunch of times before giving up). Maybe the difficulty curve can be adjusted a bit. Might retry this later though.
Anyway, now I crave me some Pizza. ;)
SO POLISHED! Wish you had time for an ending, but everything else felt clean. The music was such a bop too!
