Really cool game! The idea and implementation is super cool. Only issue I found is that screen moves rather slow. It would be cool if camera moves further when user enters top of the screen. Good job, cheers! :D

Good job
Really nice! The screen scroll is very slow for a one-shot-one-kill shoot-em-up, so maybe either increase that as the player clears enemies, or have it locked onto them. It is also really easy to lose the baby in trees, as they have more depth the closer they are to the bottom of the screen, obscuring the baby.
Fantastic art and audio! Good work, this was fun
That was pretty cool! Like the pixel art and music is neat
Nice Work! fun to play!
Trying to juggle caring for a baby while also doing some casual murder is just a recipe for fun!
Really cool game, reminds me of Ikari Warriors for the NES.
really cool concept, it was a bit hard at first to keep those babies alive ahah. Really enjoyed it, well done! Great pixel art and sound as well
it is very funny game in pixels style. Good Job :) But i think that screen moving more slowly than it should
Great music and I'm happy to see the baby-dropping mechanic from Yoshi's Island in another game! It was pretty fun to play, but I think the screen should have moved a bit faster and the enemies should have walked around.
A fun game and I apprechiate that you made a little intro cinematic. It is a bit slow paced for my taste, but a pretty solid auto-scroller. Well done!
Quite intriguing gameplay! Love the art.
A really nice concept and smooth movement. The baby dropping mechanic really added a little something to this "endless runner" category. I had a lot of fun playing!
@izokia Thank you for playing! I really appreciate your feedback, but I wanted to tell you that this isn't endless - in fact there's a boss at the end of level 1 :^)
YES, another milk game! I have also made a milk game! I really really like your interpretation of the jam theme :) The gameplay is also solid, and the visuals are really nice. The baby's scream sound effect... I can still hear it in my head lol. The cutscenes were a cool touch. Really nice stuff
I like this game, It looks very nice, and is satisfying to play as well.
I don't know what else I could say that hasn't already been said. It's a fantastic game! I want to give a nod to the art style and sound. It really sets the mood and brings the experience up from a good one to a great one for me.:)
Nice graphics and sound, fun overall, but I find AK-47 bonus usless. Since enemies die from one hit, and there are not so many of them I don't think that increased fire rate will do much, in this game you rely on your positioning and aim, not the fire rate of your gun. Other than that - good entry.
This was pretty fun! I think trying to keep a baby alive in the middle of a warzone is a pretty clever take on the theme. It feels good to shoot guns, and the graphics and audio are great - the particle death effects are a great touch. Would be nice to have more varieties of enemies or perhaps more on the screen at a time. Also was kind of frustrating getting shot by enemies that were still a bit off screen. Really good overall though!
Really cool game! I really like the idea! Great work. :)
Nice game, liked a lot your idea. Some improvements I can suggest are that the initial text could be written more fast, and the camera could follow the soldier. But overall is a good game. Good job!
Neat shooter with an unusual theme! My only complaint is the milk meter might obscure your character if you hang around that part so you might wanna bump the bottom screen limit up a bit.
Fucking love this game
Excellent combination of mechanics to make for a challenging but fun experience. I liked how the music changes when you're getting low on milk. Well done!
Just played! very nice! Probably I will tweet about this in the next day on this page https://twitter.com/Free_IndieGames !
Intuitive game play, works quite well. Nice graphics and sound. Addicting game, nice work! Possibility to switch to fullscreen mode would be a useful addition.
Nice game. It would be nice if the text boxes instead of skipping revealed the full text when you click the first time. Also I found myself waiting a for the screen to scroll a lot, would be nice if you could accelerate it by walking up.
Nice game! it is fun to play
Very nice shoot em up! A bit hard I think but I came a little bit longer each try. Nice flamethrower animation :)
I love the pixel art of this game! Also dropping the baby when you get hit once is a really great idea! Greato Jobu! Capture.PNG
Haha, neat game! I really enjoyed playing it! :D
Pretty fun straight-forward game. Not bad! The cutscene words appeared a little too slowly at the beginning, but that's a very minor complaint. Nice work!
What if Yoshi's Island was a top down shooter?
It seems a bit more like the baby is the one keeping YOU alive here, but I found the game fun anyway. It would've been nice to see how long the powerup was active for, so I could know when it was going to run out!
Hi I just finished playing your game! It was fun and had a really great gamefeel!
The shooting felt really good, and I like how you're able to snipe enemies from far away. The AK power up was also a lot of fun to use.
I like the mechanic of the baby dropping when you get hit - funny and fun!
A couple suggestions for improvement if you were to continue working on this after the jam: I found the auto scrolling to be a bit frustrating, especially when I have a meter ticking down that I have no control over. I would also suggest placing a few more enemies - I would say it erred on the side of a little easy. The most fun parts were definitely when there were the guys who would repeatedly shoot at me!
This was really fun, and unique - congrats on submitting!
Great game, really enjoyed it! The end screen didn't seem to show me my final score and that's pretty much my only complaint.
HAHAHA I loved it. I played several time to keep baby save but I died. I like the shoot way. movement was good. I liked that I should care about many things. really cool. GOOD JOB
Pretty solid auto scroll shooter. Like others have said it was a little slow (even the text in the beginning is pretty slow and clicking skips it instead of advancing it like I expected.) but I liked the concept and your take on the theme. Good work!
I had a blast! I died at the bit where there are toooons of enemies, my baby got stuck and starved. Sad day. Not sure if it's a bug, but it didn't show my score. I imagine baby starving makes the score fall down to 0? Great job there :)
Like previous comment, I skipped the text at the start because I thought clicking would make it appear faster.
Thanks for checking out my game! I managed to play yours as well, great job! I really liked that instead of health you have a baby, so when the player gets shot, the baby falls on the floor and you have to pick it up. I felt that the screen scrolled a little bit too slow at times, but overall very solid submission!
Baby rescue success! I had to retry this until I got it.
I pretty much only have three nitpicks: - The machine gun often doesn't do much right when I pick it up. I wish I could use it later. But I guess that would add another button. - It's a bit slow in the beginning. I wish I could speed it up. - Props for adding a boss, but... it was super easy.
It was a bit weird in the beginning that I could get fired at out of seemingly nowhere because the scrolling hit an enemy who miraculously couldn't see me a second earlier despite me standing right in front of him. I wonder if a delay might help here, but... I'm not sure if it is completely necessary, as it just meant that I will stay back a bit, and it added a ton of tension.
Apart from that: Simple but servicable graphics, music/sfx work well, and cutscene in the beginning and end - cool.
I had loads of fun. Really good job, folks!
