I couldn't get through the whole game but it is a good idea and could provide a lot of fun. Nice game idea. I think that if you polished it,and added more levels, it could be a great game. If you could look at mine that would be great.

Only thing that I notice is that the AI doesn't always do the same thing as you did before and it has hampered progression quite a bit several times, maybe make them more autonomous or get them to stick to copying your route more precisely.

Interesting game! A few things. First, you guys are a team so you should be submitting this game to the Jam section not the Compo section for Ludum Dare. Compo games are made by only one person. Second, it looks like your replay feature is replaying keyboard inputs which causes the units to not follow the same path on multiple playthroughs. This is kind of irritating because it seems like it is random whether the unit I just played will get through the first gate and clear out the enemies I killed. Overall really cool concept that just needs more polish. Great job!

Cool concept. Problem is, sometimes the "replay" players get out of sync, and go in wrong directions. Sometimes they die sooner than usual, but that is expected since the newer players change where the enemies are shooting. Difficult but interesting. Having a health bar would've been helpful as its hard to tell how many hits remaining you can take.

Very interesting! After playing for a bit and going back for a battering ram, it was neat to see the whole "team" in action. The shotgun enemies felt very hard to dodge, especially the one right after the first door. Also since the best character costs so much, the beginning of the game got somewhat slow since I had to wait for the enemies to go away. Still, interesting take on the theme!

it was fun and a cool concept

@blackshadow1games Thank you very much for the feedback, will definitely look at your game.

ajay-2002 2018-12-04 03:50

@darkianmaker As this is a bug that is probably ruining the gameplay experience of many, I have fixed this issue, instead of trying to fix the entire input mechanism I just timed the death of the enemies, so they will always die at the same time. So if you kill an enemy previously then it will still die.

ajay-2002 2018-12-04 03:51

@erebus Thank you for the feedback sir, yes I realize now that we should've submitted to Jam but it's a bit to late for that. I have fixed the inputs so that it makes sure that enemies you killed previously will die at the same time.

@hempuli I'm glad you enjoyed, haha difficulty tweaking is one of my weaker points. Thank you for feedback :)

ajay-2002 2018-12-04 03:52

@nanocube75 Thank you :)

Really cool game. It's really nice to get an increasing amount of guys to do all the shooting. It really builds up to some epic moment.

You should contact @pov to switch your submission to a Jam (and not a compo).

This is a super great Ludum Dare games. But I would have liked some music, fullscreen, and there are some enemies that it is really difficult to hit. But overall a super good game. Well done.

Very interesting game! It still has a few bugs and aiming directly towards your mouse is aiming is slightly weird you could try shooting at a fixed height and only make that adjustment if you are aiming at enemies higher. Your replay characters also behave weirdly (I sometimes found enemies dying out of knowhere. Doors also block bullets even if open or it seemed to me. The trigger on which enemies see you also is a bit inconsistent. These are some things that I found that require some adjustments. Other than that it's a very solid entry :wink: Keep up the good work guys and always keep improving! :smile:

@sir-syko Very valuable feedback, thank you for playing :)

@jk5000 @nicmagnier Thank you all for the feedback, and yes I will talk to @pov to try and get the game switched.
