Fun little game! Could work on mobile, honestly, I could see myself playing this in the subway or the bus. Some weird animations here and there but I actually enjoy the art! Nice work!

Interesting game. However, the fact that you can't see the whole level at times causes issues with it being a "puzzle" game, because it becomes a "random chance" thing.
The graphics are cute. It can get a bit annoying looking for the lever and the exit on the bigger maze-like levels, i found myself pretty much intentionally suiciding my snowman dude a few times just to learn the level.
This game was fun! I like your interpretation of the theme, and I thought the frames as the snowman melted were a nice touch.
Some parts actually made me giggle. I like the creativity, but the controls are very stiff, which adds artificial difficulty. The game relies on expert timing (at least some parts, others are just trial and error until you find the right path), but the controls make that extra hard to do. There are minor tricks you can try such as making the player collision a circle and using "move and slide", so fitting into gaps is a lot smoother. Great game. It's really fun. The only problem with it is that you can't see the whole layer, but then that also adds another layer to it so that each level takes a few lives. Cute graphics too. :)
Fun little game. Could use some power ups and place to pause. After playing 9 levels I found it a little repetitive and it would gain from additional mechanic. Sometimes levels can't be beaten unless you have seen them at least once before. Overall good game. Difficulty is not to hard and not too easy (Well done). Ok audio.
Not being able to zoom out was the only real flaw otherwise a great game! a lot of levels too!

Really nice idea! Thats a good take on the theme, the more moves you make making it harder. I can see this being a fun full game. It makes you make rash choices while trying to find the shortest path. Good work!
I like how the snowman's art changes as it loses health, tho contextually i'm a bit confused as to who but a bunch of heat-panel labyrinths into the side of a ski-slope. qt game :3
Fun game! Like everyone else, I feel like you should never have a path lead to a restart unfairly.
Nice game, nice graphics. A bit of sound, and perhaps a way to see the full map before you play the level, and you have something. I also agree that this would make a good mobile game.
The different graphics for melted snowman are wonderfully cute. My wife is watching me play games... and so far this is her favorite for the cute factor!
Nice little game. The art was well-done. I would play a game like this with its mechanics expanded and polished. It would be nice if there was a bit more of a challenge as far as puzzles that you have to solve. All the levels seemed like you just had to take the shortest route from start to lever to exit. Also, this is pretty minor, but I didn't like how you could use R to restart in-game, but if you die, you have to click the button on the screen. Overall really cool though.

Enjoyed this and loved that you used the Christmas theme with it. Graphics were good, liked that the snow moved as you moved, nice touch there.
First and foremost, I must give you probably the biggest props I gave so far through all the games I tried here. Simply because we both did the same game hahahahahaha
My game has a story game approach than a puzzle game.
But same deal, you are a snowman, and you must escape the heat of the wildfire while saving your friends. It also has some sort of zelda-like puzzles. I'm actually happy to see a similar game!
Now as for reviewing your game, I like it, it's all about optimizing the best paths and good timing in order to make it out alive. The snowing particle seems a bit off when going upwards, because the snow is no longer falling. I find that a tad strange, it seemed to depend in which way the snowman is going.

Nice mechanics, though as mentioned already the map size removes a bit of the puzzle aspect and it becomes trial/error/remember instead. Not a bad thing, given that other games do that sort of thing. I like the melting of the snowman over time, and the enemies look cool.
The graphics remind me of ski from early windows versions.
A pity you couldn't fix the music. I like the puzzle aspect of it, but it's difficult to decide when you don't see all the map(Maybe this was intended) The melting snowman is a nice touch. The ambient created with the snow effect is cool. Congrats!
Cool design, make it a bigger game
Cool game and this was your first time using Godot! Good Job! I really liked the way the snowman visually melted as he moved. The level design was good to I seemed to take the right path for the first few levels but messed up on the 4th level. I also liked your 2d Iso look to the levels.
I loved the retro nostalgia feel, felt like a classic puzzle game. Nice how the snowmans visuals change as you go through. Great job!

I'm happy to see a godot submission in this ludum dare :). I think it plays and looks very nice and polished. It does exactly what you'd expect it play like. I'd like to see some other types of enemies maybe to create some more interesting puzzles.
I like the concept, and I really like the snow and background!
Really great work on this, I loved the way the snowman slowly melted as you moved. I also loved the one random puddle of a fallen friend in the levels too. Great work!
Nice little logic game:) There is potential for maybe mobile version if u expand mechanics like dash or something:D
The different snowman states where a nice touch, and the puzzles overall were ok. However some levels are too big so you can't plan you route, you just have to try and guess which way is the right one - not sure if intended or not, but i think it substracts from the puzzle aspect of the game.
I like the idea! I think the game would benefit having smaller levels and a snowman that melts faster, that way you would have to plan your moves more carefully. Some of the levels were so big I had to kill some snowmen in order to locate the level and door. Anyway, good job on your game :)
More a maze-arcade game in my opinion (if you want a puzzle game, you can imagine you let snow on our way and can come back and "regenerate", but if an enemy is on the way, he delete your snow, etc..)
But gameplay is simple and fun. Despite of the maze part is just an invitation to tap "R" all the time...
Not certain why, but I cannot play this game on browser nor Windows. For browser, I'm using the latest Chrome with uBlock Origin plugin, while for Windows, the ZIP contains a single file with no file extension. Changing this to *.exe does not make the game run.
