This was a really cool little physics shooter! I liked the concept and I like the little jokes that it told along the way. I feel like the floatiness of the controls were WAY over the top. I'm sure they were meant to be floaty, by I think that I should have a bit more control over where the spaceship is moving. I found it really difficult to slow down at the places that I needed to and would always end up flying way past my target. The parallax scrolling effect was a bit nauseating because of how slowly the stars moved in comparison to the clouds, but this is all besides the point. It was a cool little experience, and I had fun trying this one out!
Hi! I'm here from the stream (planet_vano). Thanks for the feedback on my game, I figured I would give you some feedback on yours as well!
Overall I really like the concept. I think the back and forth management of the two controls could have benefited from being a little harder to keep up. I also think that a few simple sound effects could have really helped the immersion of the game. But all in all, I really enjoyed the short little concept there! Nice work!
This was really well done! I love the graphics and sound effects. The little story at first scared me and made me think it was going to have some creepy girl A.I hunting me down in the woods. This was a lot of fun and the idea of going back and forth gathering items was kind of similar to my entry, so I thoroughly enjoyed the concept! The only thing I would consider would be increasing the lighting in the house because it was a little difficult to see what was happening at first. Overall, this was a great little game!
That was surprisingly fun! Love the adorable little cactus too. The screen shake scared me at first because I thought I broke the game. Nice job!
I love the simple gameplay and graphics! It gets in then gets out, it is perfect for the short little game that it is. I wish the clicking and moving elements controlled a bit easier because it quickly became very difficult trying to figure out where I was moving the elements even in easy mode. Aside from that, great little game!
This was absolutely amazing! Seriously this is an awesome game! Everything about this was great to me. The ONLY criticism I can give is that it felt like my friend would just keep stopping at random and it didn't really feel like I had much control over when it stopped moving. The controls, I think, could be a little tighter (especially when jumping) as well. Aside from that, I genuinely think that this is an amazing little game and I feel like it deserves WAY more attention. The little 3D platformer really felt like an awesome addition to the list of games for this compo. Amazing work!
That was honestly one of the best games I've played for this jam! That was an awesome little puzzle platformer! Nice graphics and game-play. My only criticisms would be that the levels were a little to white at points, so it was a little hard to tell where I was supposed to go, and I feel like the game would have benefited a lot with some sound effects and music. Overall, a great entry!
This was actually really awesome! Quite a challenge and very fun to play. I was only able to get to 1500 points before I was unable to handle all of the different controls at once. An incredible challenge with lots of potential! I think it could have really benefited from some audio though. Aside from that, really cool concept and I hope that you choose to expand upon this somehow in the future!
Nice little game, I really liked the way the game controlled and felt like it was overall really intuitive. The game is EXTREMELY difficult. I like a good challenge game though so I thoroughly enjoyed this little simple entry!
This was really interesting. I kind of wish there was more "game" to play but the idea of an end being inevitable and you having to constantly be doing something to keep it alive is a really cool concept to me. Overall, cool little concept even though I wish there was just a bit more to do.
I think this was a really cool little game, despite the fact that I'm still not entirely sure what was going on. I spam clicked a bunch of stuff that seemed to be working and won. It was short and simple and I liked the idea behind it. Overall, it was pretty fun but I think it would have benefited a lot from some sound effects and music.
Really interesting take on the theme. This was a cool way to experiment with a different style of theme integration and I really liked where you decided to take it. I thoroughly enjoyed the challenge and strategy that I had to form to keep the kingdom alive. Nice job!
This was a cool little clicker game, but I was a little confused on what the workers were actually doing. I ended up making it pretty far and was pretty pleased with the game as a whole. I wish there was some sound to accompany the game, but aside from that, pretty cool little game!
This is an AWESOME game. Like seriously, this is incredible. Everything. The music and sound effects are perfect. The art is amazing, the gameplay is simple and feels great the whole way through. The levels getting increasingly more difficult is perfect. Amazing job!
@rhoka Thanks for the feedback! Some items that you craft from the whiteboard do look the same as other items but have different values (only because I ran out of time applying new materials). And I found myself only using the super/best microscope almost all the time as well. At the last second during the compo, I ended up just throwing things around the scene so the layout and abundance of items definitely needs some work. Once again thank you for your detailed feedback and I'm glad you enjoyed playing!
This was really fun (kinda similar to my entry). I loved the resource collecting/combat mechanics working together without even needing to press a key. I think it would have benefited from some sound effects and music, but also adding a sprint function to help move the game along a little more because early on it is really slow. Aside from that, really cool little game!
This was a really cool little game (very similar to my entry actually) that was really fun for me. I really liked this take on the crafting/resource management style game. As simple as the graphics and sound effects were, I feel like it was perfect for the little story that you told. Overall, nice job!
I found this little game really charming! From the graphics to the sounds and little soundtrack, this was all around really well done! Nice job! Never quite figured out what to do with the 'k' control, but aside from that, it controlled really nicely and stayed fun the entire time!
Nice job for a first game jam! I too participated in my first jam and I completely agree that making art for a game is an EXTREMELY difficult task, especially under a time constraint. Overall, nice game with a cool concept.
I really enjoyed this one! Despite it being a simple wave game, it was really cool having the voice over guide me and tell a little story. I also love that you kept in the mistake audio recordings, really made the game pretty humorous even if by accident. Overall, this was some great fun and very entertaining.
