The concept is simple but works well!
The art and the music are good!
The game is maybe a bit too gore for me, but that's not a bad thing x3

The name alone... AMAZING lol!! Super fun concept. I loved juggling the need to get water, water the plant, and kill the baddies (at the beginning). The art was on point! I got to level 28ish... So much fun!
The killing sfx could have been juicier.
When the whole screen is covered in guts, it's hard to see the enemy distance markers due to the color.
The game needs better balance. I felt it was too easy because I became over powered too quickly with upgrades. I maxed out my shears as quick as possible and only rarely needed to worry about water management.
There was also a glitch around level 19 that allowed me to spend coins that I did not have.
Seriousy... amazing stuff here.
OK so first things first, the name pun is basically perfect.
It took me a while to figure out how to use the shears (I intuitively tried to spam left click which did not go well for me or my little friend) but once I did the extreme splatter violence was a hilarious surprise.
Wow! I like this conccept! the graphics are very beautiful! Only I did not understand why people hunt aloe? I would put bugs or worms instead of people ;D
It looks really polished! Really enjoyed playing this game. I like VFX and SFX here. I like how player can define a time of day by shadows. Overall, a very nice tiny game

Nice little game with cute art. The main gameplay cycle is easy to learn. However, it would be better if the game had som diversity in enemies and player actions.

Last year I made a game like this in a JAM. The girl had to protect a tree that was attacked by robots. But my game was not top-down, but side scroller. I thought the idea was very well matched to the theme. The gameplay is very fluid and the art is simple and well polished. The audio caught my attention a lot. There is a certain spatiality that gives me the impression that I am without headphones and that I am immersed in the environment. Music seems to have a spatiality.

Self defense with gardening shears, I love it. Adorable character art, even the gore is kinda cute with the little skulls and all. Good game!
This game was really fun to play! It is satisfying to kill and freeze/push the enemies. The difficulty curve is a bit weird though. The more you buy the game gets easier and it becomes impossible to die eventually. I would recommend either making upgrades more expensive, or adding more enemies that have more health/speed/deal more damage. Aside from that, very good game!
I would like this game could be played with a Xbox gamepad. I like the title: pixelated and green and purple. But I don't understand the point with the title (because I am french). What is the deal?

@juice-lizard You are protecting an Aloe plant, and the title is just a play on the phrase "Say Hello To My Little Friend" from Scarface. The word Aloe sounds like Hello. It's a silly thing.

The game is simply addictive, I spent a lot of time playing and I really enjoyed it! The art is really beautiful, I also liked the soundtrack. It’s a solid work, the game is well polished, although it sounds simple, it’s challenging and catchy.
After buying all the available options, the enemies simply did not stop even in the day exchange. Sometimes the day started with them already attacking my friend Aloe. ): I just didn't understand it. But that’s okay it’s a great game and I liked the idea. Great job!
