Really interesting concept with the graphics and overall 'vibe' ;). At one point I fell through the map but was pleased to see the game spawned me back above and managed to get all photos. Great job

Nice game. Really liked the mood of the game. I had a little problem at the beginning with the orientation and radious in witch the enemys got alerted, but after a couple of games it was very better.
Really enjoyed the concept.
Well done, feels polished and nice graphics, game has an atmosphere
interesting feel, not a huge fan of the stepping noise though. I was not sure what I was supposed to do with the camera either. Graphics where nice but a bit spotty and hard to see in the html5 version i played. all in all the game was not to bad, the shooting was smooth and accurate and the 3D feel was neat.
Really surprised by the atmosphere here. The chill music, the seemingly random terrain, the filter, and the very alienating electrolife and gameplay, really impressive! Hope to be able to combine those skills as well one day :) What filter/shader did you use, if I may ask?
LOVE this game. The style's awesome and you made the most of it by throwing in some great lighting. It's a great setting, especially with the music. Good vibes!
Good job ! No bugs, quite a big area and some interesting mood !
Well executed concept. The overall theme and feel of the game was very nostalgic with the inclusion of the retro blast noises and music. The graphics were enjoyable. At times, however, the glare off the ground was a little too bright and made it hard to observe everything around. All in all, great game, very easy to enjoy!
Thanks for the comments everyone!
@willowblade it's mainly simple bloom using Unity's default Post-processing stack, plus rendering the game part at a low resolution. Then there is a shader for the sky gradient and sun, and some tricks done when changing the lighting to get it to update less often for more of a retro look.
@neontropics Cool, thanks! I'd love to do more technical art stuff like this in the future but come from very far :)
@Rawrasaur hah yeah that’s how I ”fixed” the bug of sometimes falling through the ground. Glad to hear you got all the photos actually - I was a bit worried people would give up before getting any!
I really like the graphics and idea. I wish that you could reasonably photograph the creatures from further away. The sweet spot between being able to photo them and them getting angry is too close to be fun.
nice game! It felt really polished. Love the genres you've picked up. The only thing I have to say is that I ended up making electrolives angry due to not knowing where they where. So maybe a map would be cool or a less mountaniesque(?) level
Congrats on the entry!
Impressive game ! I just regret that the progress is difficult because of the relief, I would have preferred a jetpack! Beautifull retro game! This game has endless possibilities!
It was weird how I had nothing equipped, so it took me a few minutes to realize I had a gun. (Edit: What I mean is, usually I have mousewheel bound to switch weapons, and I didn't know that Q/E switched weapons)
The terrain is really steep and sometimes the night is pitch black, so I couldn't see where I was walking even though a bunch of angry monsters were chasing me forever, this felt unfair.
I had to get really close to get a GVP, and I only got one because at that range the monsters get angry.
I don't know how to tell the monsters apart, or how to tell when they have a good vibe. I just clicked the camera a bunch, then when I got a picture I killed them.
It was okay but I don't think I got the experience you wanted me to have.
Damn, the vibes were soo good untill I started killing the creatures... Appearently I suck at sneaking and photography, so I keep dying without a single GVP. But I like the game a lot anyway, and I'll probably try a couple of times more.
The world feels really big and interesting, and taking photos feels satisfying even if I fail at what I'm supposed to do!
Super inspiring and interesting retro style, it makes this entry truely unique ! It was confusing at first but once I understood the mechanics, it was defintitely fun and engaging. I want to try to make some kind of web FPS game now.
Curious
Very interesting game, the graphics, although simple, are really beautiful.
but I could not make much progress :(
I'm getting good vibes from this game.
