I like this a lot! The switching back and forth has a nice rhythm to it and you did a good job making the rhythm game parts get harder and harder as it goes (especially when you start throwing all the distractions in). Good music too! I'd love to see a version that take advantage of the unreliable protagonist concept more.

Loved it! I really like rhythm game, and combining it with a dig-platformer with the story does make sense! I really like the audio and the mood! Well done

I was actively concerned about being caught while fighting the voices and digging, wonderful job!

nicholas-balanda 2018-04-24 03:52

Cool game! Very interesting mechanics!

I like the mechanics of the game quite a bit, but found it incredibly difficult to find pieces of evidence. The most pieces I had was 3, and that was after about a dozen attempts without finding anything at all (or finding something and not having time to collect it). Maybe if you expanded the viewable area while digging just a little

This was very unique! Both modes were very fun, and I loved the screen shaking and ghost text in the background! Great job!

This game has some amazing vibe! It really puts you in the mood and your character slowly going more and more insane is just so cool! I was totally into it! it reminds me of a game i recently played called "Hellblade Senua's Sacrifice" check it out. Awesome game

Anyways, superb art, audio, game, implementation and mechanics. The constant switching and everything was really awesome and I was totally into it.

Awesome game!

The only thing i'd probably like to see changed is the actual chat / conversation your character is having with detective being more obvious / stand out more and maybe a log? that'd be cool :D

Good job Sir. Cool game! i love the concept

Could have combined to two sections of gameplay to make them more interactive. Like digging and escaping from a ghost with a rythem game? Mood and art were great audio too!

tokkiseul 2018-04-24 06:20

I tried so hard finding evidence and finally beat the game! Great concept and good execution :)

zeriver 2018-04-24 14:06

Very clever genres mix and well executed. I like how the more sanity you lose the more hectic screen gets, shaking, floating ghost, more spooky messages etc. Rhythm mechanics is pretty simple but it's really nice how the difficulty increases as the more time is passing and you really need to find the evidence quick enough. In overall, pretty fun game.

This game was fantastic. I liked seeing what it was like to gradually become more insane. Near the end I was starting to believe I had lost it. The music and sound effects really made the mood for me. 10/10.

This is cool. I dig the music and tone.

I enjoyed this one and talking through it on stream. Nice job (despite development drama). Thanks for coming by the stream!

doswosh 2018-04-25 02:11

Love the concept! a very cool game!

thelucky 2018-04-25 02:54

Very Enjoyable to play. Although I did find that finding evidence got a little hard, and sometimes it would dig when I did not want it to.

manbeardgames 2018-04-25 05:55

I enjoyed the rhythm part of the game, especially once the different effects started adding up. I was able to find 4/4 of the objects, and you said on stream that there are six total. Don't think i saw any of the others expect the four I got. The digging section was cool.

Also, I totally responded back on your last LD entry :D

szekeres-szabolcs 2018-04-25 05:59

Congrats for finishing the game.

aevek 2018-04-25 07:14

Really liked the way the two game parts were linked, with success of one influencing the difficulty of the other. I thought that was a really neat way of fulfilling the theme. Great work.

wheffle 2018-04-26 02:05

This is one of the best one's I've played so far. You basically made two games! And the way your actions in one game affect the difficulty of the other fits together so well. The only thing I was confused about was whether you could actually get rid of the ghosties in the digging portion, they always just hit me no matter what. The mood of the game in general was terrific, the music and sounds were spot-on. Very nice!

ketura 2018-04-26 02:15

The rhythm part was super duper fast, felt like I never had a chance to catch my bearings there. Also it seems to preserve my digging progress through death, not sure if that was intended.

peachtreeoath 2018-05-06 15:33

The first impression I got was that the 2 genres were kinda mixed too separately and that I would've liked them to be more integrated rather than 2 minigames. I think one thing you did REALLY well was that even though they are different, you tied them together with the aesthetics and mood of the game. Without that constant crazy feeling and being berated by your paranoid thoughts the game would've been too loose but it makes sense with the way you did it. Definitely a unique feeling game and I'm glad you pushed those boundaries.
