There was a bug where the UI and Camera would break in any other resolution than 1920:1080 but that should be fixed now
@bayunyoubi Yeah i wish i could implement that. Maybe if i decide to update the game
Cool game! I think showing the level before you choose would be better because resetting always feels like a punishment for having f-ed up. So I feel punished by the game because I made the wrong decision after choosing randomly without any information. I especially loved the last level though. The "AHA!" moment of solving it was very nice :)
Genial cara, nunca tinha pensado nisso, ou você faz um jogo completo disso ou eu mesmo faço, hehe Mas falando sério, da uma polida e lança na steam, vai na fé
@jozgames Obrigado pelas palavras amáveis! Vou tentar fazer a versão completa quando tiver tempo (sorry for bad Portuguese. I used google translate)
@favoured-fool Yeah i should have probaply added that but i guess i couldn't predict it would affect gameplay that much. Thank you for the kind words!
Very cool game concept, I'm gonna echo on what @favoured-fool said and say that we should be able to see what the level looks like before choosing the abilities, but otherwise this is a great game, I loved it! Keep up the good work <3
Nice idea. The platforming felt solid, and the last level managed to stump me for a little while. When resetting, it might be nice to initialize the checkboxes to whatever the player last set them to, so you can get right back into the level with one click. The level with the moving spike boxes took me several tries, and it was a little frustrating to have to re-click the same ability choices before every attempt.
Hey, nice game! I don't really have much to say that others haven't given feedback on, but I want to stress that the game is amazingly polished for a Jam game! I did not encounter a single awkward physics behaviour, which is quite rare for a Jump and Run. I also really love that movement itself is an ability and not an automatic choice, I found myself selecting it by default in the beginning but having to drop it really sold the idea of limited space.
I like the concept! The level design was great and I can imagine nearly limitless possibilities. Good job!
pretty fun, cool concept, i really like the curveball in the last level, wish there was more like that
cool idea choosing your available movements for each level.
Nice game, the core concept is very effective ! when playing the game, it feels like you just scratch the surface of what you can do with it, and i wish there were more trickiest levels or a bigger moveset I think a bit more polish on the movement or deaths with visual feedbacks could easily add more fun to the game
It's an interesting concept, but I found it frustrating at times to have so little control (levels with only one ability). In these, it felt like I was just waiting around for platforms to align, and with a small mistiming I'd have to restart and wait again. Giving a little more control to the height and direction of the jump, possibly even a line to show the jump arc, would make the game feel way better to me (though the last part would probably make it too easy of a platformer).
This reminds me of the themes along the lines of "limited controls" or "one button controls" that often come up in the lead up to the jam, and don't make it through to the end because it's difficult to make a game that doesn't frustrate the player when a core mechanic is taking away their control over the game. But, to be clear, that's not to say this is bad idea or a bad game, I just wanted to mention how important it is to make the player feel like they have as much control as possible. With some tweaks though, I think you could do it.
@oter Thanks for the criticism! There were definetly a ton of ways that i could have improved this game and to be honest i did have the time to do it but decided it was enough. If i ever want to update this game and make a full version i'll make sure to listen to your advice!
5/5 for THEME, very creative way to address it lol
Super neat concept, but have to echo the sentiment of needing to see the level before choosing what abilities to use. Some of the levels were also somewhat frustrating as they basically boiled down to "stand in place waiting for the platform to come to you to jump on", but if you mistimed the platform you'd be forced to wait for it to come back, a classic trick that many platformers take that would've definitely helped here is to let the player jump onto a platform from below instead of just colliding with it.
Pretty cool concept, simple interesting and effective! I was not frustrated by waiting for platforms too much, but something else seemed uncomfortable to me — when i choose the right combination of abilities and fail level i don't want go back to the abilities menu, i want just restart level with previously selected abilities. Perhaps it would be better to save the last abilities selection or add buttons "Restart" and "Abilities selection" after fail. Great job!
Fun game indeed.
I got stuck at the level after all the jump and dash levels. I really have no clue on what to do.
I didn't really care about choosing randomly the controls. It is a part of the game.
Good job !

WALLS.
That's a great idea for a platformer/puzzle! Good job!
