Played the game, surprisingly and kind of strangely addictive! The fast pace you need to keep up with for survival is pretty rewarding and really makes you want to get straight back into the next life when you inevitably expire. Some wonky bug-like stuff going on like the crowbar seemed to not want to open one of the gates?, but that might be a feature. Animations and moving around is pretty smooth, and it's exciting when you start to take off in health because you get invested in surviving even more. Would be great to have some kind of arcade victory screen if there were an ending you could achieve.
Had some issues with the crowbar and a getting past some of the gates and opening crates, but other than the minor hiccups, it was a really fun game with some s i c k audio and presentation
I like the vibe a lot! I never got to break a gate, not sure what I was missing there. My only complaint was the music was too quiet? I have my laptop turned up all the way and could barely hear it. Also, could use some ending screen or info, for when you run out of health.

It is quite addictive game. A good lucky is also important to play it. I really love the isometric graphics and procedural map generator.
Surprisingly addictive, the concept behind it is interesting. The mood created by the artstyle and the music was very good, and the gameplay is simple but nonetheless pretty good.
Only suggestion is menu sounds, but im basically nit picking at that point.

It was very fun to play, the difficulty might have had something to do with it, i kept on dying over and over lol. I didnt have any trouble breaking gates and could find items very easely, i didnt find easier to break boxes with the axe though lol. The music could have been a little louder. Very good game!!
fun! difficulty is iffy, but a cool arcade-y game that has some neat potential
I found it addictive even though it’s not my kind of games ! The art is great, and the sound effects too. If you want to improve it a tad, you could maybe accentuate the "Increase movement speed" bonus, it’s not really perceptible Great overall !

The desesperation! the anxiety! The music and overall audio with the clean minimal pixelart really caught me. I could became an outstanding roguelite <3 Excellent job!

Such a great game with my favourit style :D it was really fun to play! Hope youre next LD on Board!
Fun game, but I feel like it needs some balancing as sometimes I'd spawn far away and bleed out too quick, and sometimes I'd never find health. Artstyle was consistent throughout and would love to hear the audio a little bit louder as I could barely hear it. When I bleed out I'd love to see my score as I never knew my score when I lost the game. Great potential!
It's really fun! It's really well-polished too and the concept is quite cool!

Very great game, I loved the graphics particularly. The animation was quite cute and I'm a big fan of the isometric pixel-art style. My main gripe is that the mechanic of running around getting the crates gets old pretty quickly. I like the level gen, always a fan of procedural.

A really engaging game! I love the simplicity of the controls, which makes up for the fact that you're instantly put in the heat of the moment. On my first try I understood how the game works in a very limited timeframe, so good job on that!

Nice game, but in my opinion it relyies too much on luck (What i mean is that it's soo easy to get do bad run, i did 10 round and all lasted less than a couple of minutes).
Also, I don't know if it was me or what, but the audio was way too low...

Was fun ! I manage to get the golden crate on my third try but nothing great was waiting for me inside.. I was kinda sad... Was fun enough to play it several times in a row though !

Cool game, nice graphic. But I think it's more based on luck than on keeping something alive. No real strategy. Maybe make loot more spécif to some crate type ? So you'll prefer go for an upgrade crate more than a heal crate, for example ? Anyway, I had a fun time, thank you :)

Really nice game.
Really solid submission. If I had a desire, it would be that I didn't have to use the same key to open and pick up. Maybe just hold to open and run over to pick up? It just felt a little awkward.
I really like the graphics, but i would like to see more collectables and maybe some enemies. It has potential. CHeers
Love the graphics as well as the concept, there is a lot of gameplay longevity as well!

Cool game, remembered me of zombies ate my neighboors
A good little Jam game you made here. Some interesting idea of how to apply the theme, time management with a explore theme. I like the BG music, and the sound effects got the job done. I like that it seems like, or might be, that the world is auto random generated, as well as the randomness of the crates and whats in them. Fun little challenge runner. I would think it might be cool to add in some screen UI to give the player an idea of the bonuses they still have or the time limit until they run out, the bandage and speed boast come to mind. Just a fun little jam game, Nice job!
Neat hidden gem we have here! The gameplay is great, I like the isometric graphics and they do the work. Music and sfx were a bit quiet, but set the tone.
Looks like the levels are procedurally generated or something? I like that, you can't just remember where are some things so it adds to the difficulty. My only complain about the game is that there are some empty boxes that seemed unfair to me, as you don't have no way to know that and they usually mean you will die. Maybe a way to know if a box is empty before, or no empty boxes at all, so you'll always get some reward for the time spent. Some love to the menu and the dead screen would be a nice touch too, but I get this is a jam game and there's not a lot of time for that.
But overall, you did a good job here, I really enjoyed trying to get a better score, and the game and mechanics are easily understandable.
Very nice entry! Great job!
I like the idea of this game but didn't like the controls, instead of space bar i would prefer mouse 1 and some kind of box opening animation feedback can be a great improvement, also health pickups should be autopickups doesn't make any sense to tap a key to confirm the health pickup, just make it auto pickup, overall i like the minimalistic idea and art good luck with the ratings.

Good job! loved the art style and the concept is bang on for the theme. super minor gripe but it would have been cool to have a quick restart button when I realised I was doomed
Cool game, though a bit too luck based for me. I think the game could benefit from having two kinds of crates, one with power-ups and one with healing items. That way the player can make the tactical choice whether they think they need more health, or have enough health to go for the upgrades instead.
The art is good and the ambient music fits really well. Solid entry, well done!

Analysis...
1 - Mechanics, Learning and Flow: Very interesting the mechanics of being losing life and needing to find resources in boxes. Each attempt starts at a different point (as I understand it), even with the stage changing. Learning to play was easy, with few controls and overload of interactions (that was fine, in my view). The menu was also quite functional. The game flow can be improved, I believe it is very difficult (or that the bleeding gets faster with time, I'm not sure). Because of the difficulty, I was a little anxious and discredited to go further (hahahahah). I think it is possible to slow the bleeding and add other elements of danger to balance the late game. Another suggestion: create negative drops if collected, forcing the player to risk catching unintentionally if he is desperate (such as slowing down, or even hurting himself a little).
2 - Graphics, Audio and Narrative: The graphics were very good (especially for Ludum Dare's time). Polishing is always welcome (obviously). I missed the audio very much (I would like some sound effects when bursting wooden boxes and gates). An action soundtrack would also come in handy (being softened in case of defeat and having another track for the menu). The narrative is simple and straightforward (it would be interesting to invest in this outside the game jam time, if you intend to continue the project).
3 - Culture: The game is reminiscent of several others (with different mechanics), mostly due to aesthetics and character design. I believe that finding a niche for the game is facilitated by this; and that the game (polished, balanced and extended case) can be a good piece / example that attracts more people to this style of play.
4 - Monetization: With the necessary improvements, the game would sell to Steam or itch.io (in my opinion).
@gustavo-christino yea there is audio if you crank it up louder, my computer is a bit loud by default, so i wasnt able to get the sound right.
