Very smooth, challenging and fun. Awesome game.
I loved this! The humour and 3D pixel art. Very fun, good job. With more levels and a background music, I would pay to play more of this.
The sound effect was a bit loud and got my by surprise. Took me a while to understand why the npc could make 2 moves and I could not, but once I got it figured out I had fun :) good job
Thank you all very much for the feedback. It was my first jam and I had a lot of fun doing it. I shall learn more about animations for my next one.
I also did not think about repetitiveness and the game getting boring so I really appreciate knowing what to work on in future games. Thank you Zonvoi and ubershmekel
I am also very happy to see my art and music made the job.
Also, sorry for the fullscreen text issue, thanks for letting me know.
@barrier Yep something you need to find to save the friend that is as a little "extra" thing to keep alive, but with the feedback I now know I should've included a little quest log or something to help figure it out. (Also the full screen text issue doesn't help figuring out there's someone in the tent) Thank you for the feedback! And there was monsters planned at first, but didn't have time to add and balance the game.
Survived 28 days! Damn it's hard. But I liked it a lot. Finding out the way the game works and everything. I love the mood and some sound effects and music would've made it really awesome. Great game!
Overall great game, I like the art style and the music. I would've liked to see my inventory quantity as I never knew if I had carrots left or anything. I'm curious why I fed the horse, he was happy and fed, but his hearth was always at 1.
Pretty nice, funny and addictive, I hope you can get the quests going, would be nice.
The bouncy blob was cute and the effect was nice. I had a few control issues where he didn't go where I was expecting him to, but I had fun trying to get to level 2. Good job.
Your protocol name made me laugh, I like it. The gameplay itself is fun, only missing sounds effects and it would've been a really awesome game.
Died of starvation. Would not be able to take care of a baby. I like the mood, it's hard as intended I guess. Good job!
I like it, the controls were hard to get at first, but I really like the retro handheld style and sound effects. Good job.
I like the idea that they're both keeping each other alive, and energized. The music was awesome, the only thing I would change is the amount of energy you gain from the power supply or increase the cost of shooting since I had to not move for a minute to be able to die and click really fast to run out of energy to shoot. In the end, great game.
Nice story, very nice melody and animations. A bit short, but funny and good. A little less bounce would make it easier. Great job.
This is cute and started off easy, but in the end I could only let it die. Great work! I like the sound effect of the creature, giving it a voice of some sort was a nice touch.
Was also confused at first and had to come back to understand. But the art and animation, music and sounds were all pretty good. Great job.
I had some trouble playing the game, the arrows made me move in the browser at the same time. But the arts and music were good. Controls were a bit confusing.
Funny use of the theme, controls are a bit hard and I got stuck in the jump animation on a platform once. But overall I tried many times to complete it and had fun. Good job. Rated 18+ for obvious reasons ;) Music and voice acting were on point for the game.
I don't know how long I was stuck in that typing an feeding loop, but I know I couldn't stop doing it for a while. Good job. I think a scoring system and increased chains of letter over time would have added a lot of challenge so I would play again and try to beat my score over and over.
My screen is moving on its own after playing for a few minutes, makes me dizzy. The loop was a bit small, but the different music and the different obstacles were a nice addition to the game. Making it possible to start and restart with the keyboard and not the mouse would've been nice to have.
I liked it a lot, I don't play that kind of puzzle often. The pixel art is nice and the different obstacles are well made. I would give the option to play the loop automatic or step by step to increase the speed a little.
Overall well made.
