Ohhhh... "Atrash Studio" is "A Trash Studio". The URL fooled me.
Nice work! Here is some feedback I noted: * Sometimes when moving left and right, I found myself moving really slowly instead of at the normal fast pace. I'm not sure why. * Do I just passively gain money over time? I'm not sure if I missed this in the tutorial. * One thing that was confusing for me was the mix of keyboard controls to move and mouse controls for the menu. I think it might have been better as a fully keyboard game? * Does your inventory show how much of each item you have? It wasn't clear to me if I had an item or not, especially since "use item" is still highlighted even if I am out of that item.

Graphics were really cute, game idea was pretty cool too. Unfortunately I couldnt work out what I was doing wrong. Whatever I fed the horse his hunger meter went down. And after dying and restarting the horse dies again in 5 seconds.
Overall, it was pretty good. There were weird things happening with a cloud and a tree that you might want to look into... It would be nice if there were like jobs that you could do that would give extra money to feed the animals with.

This is a really good start to a full game! The art here is great. One bit of feedback, having the character move slowly when approaching the shop originally made me thing that I wasn't supposed to go that direction, and it took a while for me figure out how to buy more food.
@sayumeki Thank you for the feedback! The slowdown randomly across the map is due just because of the version of Construct I was using there's some issues in the older versions with the scrolling map. But yep, you just gain money passively. But i'll take your notes into consideration! There was a lot more I wanted to do, some of which you mentioned, maybe i'll update in the future or turn it into a private project. Hope you enjoyed it!
@thatothernerd Yeah, there are a lot more features I wish I had more time to implement. Jobs, clothes, more animals. But I did as much as I could in the time given. Thank you for the feedback!
@shouji Thank you for playing and thanks for the feedback! I was honestly thinking about turning it into a project so I had more time to work on the bugs and features I wanted to implement but didn't have much time to. Hope you enjoyed!
Adorable visuals! I love all the colors and the characters expressions.
(You should probably disable ratings for Audio since the music isn't yours)
@cheesepencil I paid for the music, and it was made by a fellow ludum dare member during the 48 hour challenge so technically not against any rules! Thank you for your input though, I hope you enjoyed it!

Interesting game. I love the art and music!
A piece of feedback is that the T and B buttons kind of feel awkward to use on the keyboard.
Good job!
@mhykah Thank you for the input! I'll remember that for next time, hope you enjoyed!

This was super cute! I'm glad it's web based! Honestly the only thing I would have really liked would have been some way to track my inventory. Fun game.
great job. The art style, while simplistic on first glance, really shows both a lot of effort and an eye for detail and consistency. Reminded me of brickleberry (art wise). The controls were ok. Responsive but I would have liked to assign them or have something a little more traditional than t and b. but I made it work ;)
Overall, the sound, the feel, the aesthetic as well as the UI were well done. I had a small bug that I mentioned to you but I refreshed and it didn't come back. Shrug. OVerall though, great job.
nice one, good graophic
I want transparent trees.
It's a neat idea with some good presentation. I think it'd need a mechanic aside from buying + feeding, like minigames to earn money.
As feedback, I'd really like to have an item counter in my inventory. First time around I didn't know why i couldn't use the items, turns out I spent them all.
Congratulations to finishing a compo game! It is unfortunate, that you had to cut features, but that will surely get better every year!
NOTE *As well as the main game music, this was made by SirJoan620 during Ludum Dare for Ludum Dare entries.* You can opt out of ratings for music, if you didn't make it yourself. Or did I understand it wrong?
@psychic-ash Thank you for the detaile review brother! Glad you enjoyed.
@ironygames Haha, sarcasm or do you really like the transparent trees? But thank you, glad you enjoyed it! I will definitely take your review into consideration moving forward!
@scintillae-creations Thank you so much! It was a daunting task, but I did it! And I didn't opt out for music/sound because the rest of the audio was made by me homemade and I'm super proud of it, and as far as I was concerned it wasn't an issue because a) I paid for the license b) it was made during ludum dare by another participant for ludum dare entries, so it wasn't made outside the compo time.
Nice and cute game. I like the art. It's so friendly. Controls are responsive and sharp. Liked it. Overall feel and atmosphere are great. Really well done!
Nice game, it was enjoyable to play. Congrats on finishing you first LD.
@skelleroznik Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it and had a good time playing!
@projectaroid I'm so glad I finished, it was a super rewarding experience. Glad you had fun.

The art is really good, well done. There is a bit of room for improvement everywhere - the inventory could show much you have of the items. I'd liked to have a second animal and then maybe having to use different foods.
It was still fun to play. You should change the 'studio name' from 'a trash studio' to 'not trash studio' maybe

Idea and atmosphere are really good :) In the beginning I was confused how to raise up other stats than food and tried to interact with horse! I miss other options of interaction with animal - all of course forgiven. I think you colud have better solution for feeding an animal procedure.

Very nice graphics and a pleasant game.
At first I almost killed my horse, trying to figure out what to do, but later I got a hang of it.
If you would add few more mechanics that could be enjoyable for hours, trying to manage a group of animals while listening to chilling music.
Cheers!

Overall great game, I like the art style and the music. I would've liked to see my inventory quantity as I never knew if I had carrots left or anything. I'm curious why I fed the horse, he was happy and fed, but his hearth was always at 1.
Fun little idea! I enjoyed taking care of the horse and i liked the goofy artstyle :) Just a few things I came across that I think could be change or improved. When the shop is open, you are still able to walk around as the player, I feel like this shouldnt happen as you need to walk to the lady to access the shop. Whenever you have items in your hand, and you get close enough to the horse, they are shown ontop of it while you are stood behind. I realise this may be so that the player can see what they are holding, but i feel it breaks mood. Maybe the player could stand infront with it? carrot.JPG
@kate90 Thank you for your input! I'm glad you could enjoy what I could do in such a small time. I definitely wish I had more time to implement more features and better code procedures.
@ryzy27 Haha I'm glad you had fun. This is such a loving comment though you have no clue how much it means having someone say they could play one of my games for HOURS if it was more polished and more mechanics/features/ect were added. Thank you!
@symnel Thank you for taking the time to play my game, I wish I could've added more features like you mentioned but it was a formidable task. I only got this far, but I'm still super proud. Definitely could've done way more with more time given though. Thanks again!
@louiejams I'm glad you liked my game! And the art haha, I used to watch a ton of cartoons as a kid so it's my favorite style for sure. But thank you for the recommendations, I will definitely keep them in mind for the future! But haha, I actually did notice that bug, it's just how I have my layers stacked I forgot to fix that, easy fix that i'll definitely remember next time. Thanks again for playing, and thank you for the feedback!
Great job! I liked the chill atmosphere. the game was good but I feel it would have been more enjoyable if there was more animals. I found myself just waiting for the horse to get hungry half the time. Great work!

Heya @forevertrash - Nice game, I like the music and the animation, I think the Horse looked happier when I got close to it? unless that was just a timed reaction haha :)
It was a little confusing at first, but I got the hang of it and could keep the horse alive.
Really nicely done artwork, I like that you have a deep background, and full movement. Keep at it and you're going rock out some awesome games! :)
Chill music and nice graphics.
Hello, i like your game, really funny graphics. I'm a programmer looking for a graphic designer or a team to team up and maybe work on new games, are you interested?

Nice style! Love the graphics and the music. It wasn't clear to me how what I gave the horse was modifying its stats…

cute game, I like the mood and the music was good. I wish there was more to do in the game, but for a game made in 48 hours I understand that you had to prioritize. good job!
Nice little game for being made in 48 hours!
Pros: - Great art - Catchy music - Interesting concept
Cons: - Money seemingly came in much too fast, there was no way for me to lose it felt like - No way of knowing how much of each item I was carrying - Very, very simplistic gameplay, brought down by some odd control decisions
Overall, a very nice entry, you should be proud of yourself!
