What a brilliant:mad:little:game! Absolutely loved it: great bgmusic, cool mechanic, played it through (was a bit short ofc: totally understandable). Felt like the last 2 levels were a bit luck based: just whack everything, and it will get punted across by the blue blocks. Really well done!
A very interesting concept I will admit. There's definitely a trick to the controls that I'm not getting, I feel like I don't have enough control over the food to successfully navigate the later platforms without relying on dumb luck to fling them across.
But still, a very interesting and entertaining concept! Time go go calm the giant spinners inside my colon lmao.
I loved this one, really unique and addicting, shame it was short. Thought the later levels would be impossible but they were quite manageable.
Great work!

I think this is a great concept, this would be a unique way to control a game. I wonder how my own stomach does such a difficult activity  I found the controls a bit challenging though. Well done nice work!

@liam @appoxgames @hotaloca Thanks so much for all the kinds words! You caught me; the last two levels where added basically in the last hour, but I really wanted those moving and/or platforms in there _somewhere_
Oh my lord, the madness is real. Absolutely loved it. I have no idea how you made the controls and I don't want to know. Brilliant. Would have loved to play more, keep up the good work :)
Very unique gameplay. Good job.

I think this is by far the most innovative game I've played during LD49. I wish I had your imagination. Well done!

Very original gameplay ! The music is irritating ! Good entry overall
Really liked the idea! This feels like one of those addicting android games :D

Innovative little game, would be great on mobile I think ! I think it would need a bit of rework on the mechanics (falling between two cells is a bit strange), and maybe a bit of variety on the music side, but overall pretty fun !
That was hilarious. I was definitely flicking a lot to try and give the little green balls some momentum, but when I got to the irritable bowel levels I had to do a lot more controlled manipulation

The last two levels were oddly satisfying. I never thought I'll say this but I enjoyed playing a colon.

When I read the controls I thought, "Oh like angry birds hold, aim, fire." but instead I got 'hold to watch the walls contract, squirm and wriggle around where I clicked and then I realized...
"Oh, like how guts actually work in their squelchy, gut-wrenching way."

Hilarious and informative game! And maybe a bit gross, but that's on me for seeing more things on the screen than you put in :'D
Very well done, I'd be intrigued to see the mechanic explored further!

Easy, short, and fun to play! Interesting gameplay, you may try to extend it a little, just to see⦠Good job!

Ha cool mechanics - the bowels behave in more strange peristaltic ways that are interesting to get your head around. You can also squeeze your food between cells which is an interesting alternative route. :) The levels are nice and direct, maybe could have had a bit more diversity. Would also have loved to have a 'done in X seconds', so that you could reward bronze/silver/gold and challenge people to be faster. The music is weird and appropriate.
Nicely done!

@joror Thanks as always of course :-) 'Peristaltic' is a nice word isn't it? Good that you're always pushing me towards scoring systems. They're not that hard to include, but during LD I often forget about them. I've noticed that a lot of the time if I make a game for Alakajam (as opposed to LDJam) I manage to include one, as that site has a built-in (== send screenshots) hi-score functionality per game, and tournaments, so you're encouraged to do so from the get-go.
@shreemp @trexxak Thanks for the rate-backs! :-)
@betamorfosis Thanks! It's just math, nothing dirty about that ;-) Oh, I should mention (here, so you don't get spammed), that scoring bug in your game isn't a once in a million times. I got it almost three times in a row, I think I have at least two more screenshots. I think it might be related to trying to control the rocket during the gameover switch to the other screen? Not that it's important, as at least it actually remembers the higher one.
@flying-dog-fish @cogcomp @wakobu @douwe-ravers @achiru @candlesan @masaru @lereveur Thank you all! I'll try to rate your games today. I intend to leave a comment as well, but as I try to leave quality comments (I might not have anything useful to add if you've already received a lot) and they're kind-of labour intensive that way ... we'll see what happens.
It's always hard to gauge from comments alone, but I get the feeling that this is going to be another good one :-)
__Note to others: I'm probably going to stop rating back and will focus more on rescuing after this round!__
@Remco Math in video games truly can be a great ally :). Ahah thanks for the help, I actually got it fixed for another jam I just participated, it was indeed something among thoses lines, nice observation. No one can help another gamedev debug than a gamedev himself. Have fun for your next games!

Definitely one of the most creative game mechanics I've seen! Very interesting and fun to play. Not too easy and not too hard. Kudos for using Godot!

@zubspace My first ever game in the engine. I basically learned (almost) all I know during the jam, like for most engines I'm trying out it seems.

Really interesting mechanic! Fun to play around in. I wanted a level where there were a ton of food-balls that you would have to squeeze through haha. The levels were fun little metaphors turned physic puzzles though. nice job!

Haha thanks for this little humor game! The levels titles were the best :D I really like how in some ways this reflects reality :) I can see how crazy one could go with this nice core mechanic.
