I like the graphics, the artstyle is lovely!
The gameplay is a pretty basic Tower defence, with some twists, like you only have a fixed amount of Traps. Overall it is fun to play, but you need to figure out what the different traps do.
The theme is a bit of a stretch here tho.
Nice concept! The game feels a bit hard to pick up since you have to figure out which traps work for which enemies, but that's the point, I think. I just wish that after I killed an enemy with a trap, the next time that enemy appears, an indicator for which trap hurts him would be shown above it or something like that. In the midst of figuring out which enemies are new or not and which routes they are taking it becomes kinda difficult to manage, even when you already know some enemies.
Overall I'd say this can be expanded upon immensely and I think it's a very cool idea worth exploring. Very cool graphics as well!

Game looks awesome, gamplay itself is a bit frustrating tho, since you dont know what trap kills what and there are so many diffrent enemies at once, so its hard to keep track of them

The game runs and looks amazing, but the gameplay was a bit hard to understand.
Love the concept! Really wish there was a pause though so I could have time to read/write notes, haha. And the art is so clean and cute!
Congrats on your entry!!!! Im in love with the graphics! The idea of this game is marvelouse too, the controls were a bit hard to use, but over all the coding is great! Fantastic job guys!

The art is really beautiful. And the controls are nice. But I feel like it is missing a double jump, and the enemies should be slower and/or we should be faster. The only way to tell which traps work is by trial and error(?), but we are punished for mistakes. So it feels a little wrong. I really like the idea tho.
I don't really see how the game relates to the theme and I don't feel the gameplay is intuitive enough to just say "have at it, move pieces where you want." However, the artwork is just incredible

A tower defense game? Great! I like the way it looks, i like the way it works, the music is also cool. Player's moving kinda slowly, but anyway, good job!

Very nice game, but i don't understand the link with the jam theme.
Very good game the graphics are amazing! But I think you you need to be able to make traps or get money and buy traps.
and be able to use wasd
Love the art and the animations! It, also, has an interesting way to use traps and enemies without combat! I'm not sure if the concept of the game fits in the theme though. Nice try overall!
This felt really, really, polished. The art is amazing and I liked the feel of the controls.
However, I found the game to be a bit unforgiving since you only have one or two opportunities to destroy each enemy and they move quite fast. Also, the theme could've been integrated better, in my opinion.
Overall, I liked the game. With some improvements this could be really fun!
The art is really good! A lot of trial and error and restarting but I guess that's the point. Nice entry. The repetition was too taxing for my taste but I'll blame the theme for that. Nice work.

Not too much in terms of theme, but tbh the game is rather good none the less. The pixel art is really good as well. The intensity of having to use certain traps for each enemy was nice. I wish the player movement speed was a little faster though. Great job none the less

Stunning visuals and fluid movement stood out the most for me. I think that the game fits the theme well enough, because you have to loop through the same level over and over again to learn the waves and how to use your traps well.
I adore this game.
The idea is really fun, and I can see the abstract application of the theme here and its really clever!
The art is absolutely stellar also!
Amazing job. The fact I got addicted to this speaks volumes, considering I'm quite cynical about games I play for extended periods of time. Maybe you should consider expanding on this for a proper release sometime!

Love the art and animations here, the protagonist in particular looks and feels great. Enemy designs are clear and you can for the most part figure out what traps are needed for each. Gameplay is fun and works well, Great job!

I love the art style, really charming.
I wish picking up and putting down traps was a *little* more responsive, it sometimes didn't register when I pressed the button while I was running past them.
I really like the concept of a tower-defense-ish game where you have to try and remember which enemies come at which time. But the number of phases was a bit long - I got the hang of the first 3 phases but after that it was too much to remember and they overwhelmed me, and going back to phase 1 was frustrating. Maybe some sort of checkpoints would help?
Also, this could be really great as a multiplayer game, I think.
Overall this is a really solid entry. Great work.
Next to balance issues and not knowing what I'm doing (because the amount of enemys suddenly apearing and not knowing how to kill what mosnster). I love tower defence games and would love to see this become a thing!

Super cool idea and art! With a bit of balancing it could make a super awesome game! I agree with some of the other sentiments like the player should move a bit faster or a better layout of the stage. but overall amazing job man

The pixel art is just gorgeous! The movement is really smooth, and the sound design is great too.
It can be a little frustrating when the right trap against an ennmy is all accross the level, but it's a really solid entry for a game jam!

Cool game, though the controls felt a bit awkward for me and, as others, I would have liked to know what each trap does, but otherwise very solid tower defense! I agree with the previous poster here, I too would like to see a post-jam version!
It was hard to figure out what each tower did. Maybe color coding them would make it easier, or perhaps too easy. I really like the art here though, especially the HUD :) Great job
Great game! It was really fun and challenging to run all over the place trying to have the right trap ready. I think it was a pretty innovative idea - rather than actually facing the enemies yourself, or just casually preparing traps before the enemies actually come, you had the player walk around bringing the traps to fight the right enemies. I really liked that! The graphics were also very good. Well done!
Great game! Love it! It has a simple behaviour but a lot of potential and possibilities! A 2D tower defense with an amazing pixel art! :heart: I would improve the jump, I think has a lot of gravity with no possibility to modify the trajectory, also the top parts, I think can be more "friendly" to go there (a lot of times I was falling into the lower levels). But is an amazing game! Congrats team! \o/
