Oh ! Very great entry, quite polish and interestring. My only feedback is about the balance between sounds and musics wich seems quite unbalanced. But above all, my favorite entry so far !

hangovergames 2023-10-03 07:25

Wow, very addictive, you did a good job! very high quality game, nice design and music

nash 2023-10-03 07:27

There is a lot to unpack here - it feels like a complete game instead of a jam game.

The thing I like that most is that the player is able to solve blueprints one by one in any order they wish. It gives a really neat tactical layer to the game when the player is constantly scanning the available pieces and then trying to figure out what blueprints they should try to form next. When there were only a few blueprints left, I was hoping to get a better understanding of what kind of pieces could come next. Not entirely sure how I would implement this but a better knowledge of the stack of pieces would be cool.

Overall, this is a really solid package. Impressive jam game!

Game felt polished and relaxing. The gameplay was clear and well explained. Really well done!

akitl 2023-10-03 07:40

realy good puzzle game ! good job it's simple and understandable

shgamerk 2023-10-03 07:41

I like this game very much. Sound effects and music are relaxing, art is amazing and gameplay not very easy but not very difficult either. Nice work)

fizzbark 2023-10-03 08:02

Great music and a good little puzzler. The block queue gave me a bit of bad luck at times - not sure how random this was but it felt a bit frustrating and could maybe use some behind the scenes tweaking to make it easier for the player so they don't get stuck waiting on a colour. Really great job pulling everything together, game was clearly well scoped with clear player feedback and tutorialising. A little bit of juice would really take this to the next level. Nice work!

boyar 2023-10-03 10:13

Thank you so much for feedback!

(@vidu) sound design was a really late afterthought and was implemented near the *three-hours-left* mark , so it's a bit rubbish 😅. Hope sound toggles helped to ease the pain

(@arachnid56) (@akitl) (@nash) It was our goal for this jam to make it as understandable and polished as we could, so your feedback means alot!

(@fizzbark) You are so right... We tried to to implement a *balanced-not-random* color distribution of colors, but kinda run out of time and had to scratch that idea. Looking forward to do go back to it on the pastjem week when i'm rested enough 🙃

soot-potato 2023-10-03 11:42

It could be a real monetized mobile game, it's so polished !

roboimuri 2023-10-03 15:27

Nice game with great polishing! I always like me a good puzzle game.

katamary 2023-10-03 16:36

Love the game, I can see myself playing this just to chillax.

hiding-dev 2023-10-04 22:09

Great game! Loved the concept

mortusnegati 2023-10-04 23:51

This is so fun! I liked how friendly the piece generator was to me, I didn't have trouble finding the pieces I need to complete my plans. Then it go way MORE fun when I had to start planning out how I was going to build multiple colored blueprints on the same board when I won't necessarily be able to do one blueprint at a time. Great design. I think every bit of effort you put into the tutorial and polish was well worth it. 5 stars!

jon-curtin 2023-10-05 00:41

As a Space Ltd. creator as well I think you've done a great job here. Game play is intuitive, but challenging. This is quite a novel concept and really could almost be a full game.

bytomancer 2023-10-05 02:47

It's impressive to see such a well thought out puzzle game in a jam; I loved the art and mechanics.

I did get somewhat frustrated at level 3, as I'm red / green colorblind so I had to click each pattern every time to see what it contained. A small icon would have been a big help.

boyar 2023-10-05 09:10

Once again everyone, thank you so much for the feedback!

(@jon-curtin) So glad to see a fellow Space ltd. developer on board!

(@bytomancer) Our worst fears were realized - game was played enough to get a colorblind gamer(tragic). My brother asked me around the time we were pushing "submit button" - *WAIT are we even accesable for colorblinde ppl???* It somehow haven't stuck any of us that we literaly have just colored hexes as ui. So yeah, that's a bummer, so we made a hotfix the next day jam was over, one day too late. Thank you so much for the feedback and sticking with the frustrating hell of cheking the buildings regardless. I assure you in the postjem version we are having the nicest icons for the greatest gamers!

Also special thanks for all the streamers who played this game, seeing new random people play your game live is a really cool experiance and had me very excited to finish the project! You are an amazing community and i'm very glad to be a part of it now

prologi 2023-10-05 11:05

It's a great game, nothing else to say. Красава :D

the-xj-project 2023-10-05 13:57

Yo absolutely amazing game! I could play for hours. No glitches and satisfying sounds and gameplay. Easy to pick up but also has challenging features as well. I aspire to make games with this addictive quality! @SpaceLtdGang

aviv-levy 2023-10-05 16:39

I was skeptical at first tbh, didn't think it was for me, but it totally grew on me. It's a really chill and fun game and it's just nice finishing those puzzles. I found myself totally invested! Congrats on a great entry :)

lupercalia 2023-10-05 19:37

I like your idea going through all Space Ltd games. :) So i tried out yours. And you know. I just spend one hour to play your game. I noticed that i had to think long between each placement, which means, that your game isn't so easy, which is good. On the other hand, i would like o have had played quicker. But the risk of messing up and starting a level again was to big. I would have liked an undo-Button, then i would've had been more relaxed about playing your game. I imagine that you would then get casual puzzle players aswell. I think yours is more for seasoned puzzle players or those who just like puzzles. I do. :) So i had fun. And one more thing: I like your endless mode. Very nice addition/finish to your game. What else ... the sounds could me more juicy for my taste, like a pushy placement sound or a bigger explosion or demolition sound when doing exactly that (now i notice that you opted out of audio, ok). I like the idea of the special tiles much. This is a great puzzle mechanic. And i like the graphics especially with those special tiles. Well done overall! :)

jamesw 2023-10-06 20:24

A well polished puzzle game! The music is so relaxing that it's easy for players like me to forget time when playing. The concept is brilliant and it's well executed. Really liked the randomness of the game mechanics, it's combined very well with these puzzles. This entry is definitely one of my favorite ones. BTW, I also request for a "Undo".

yndajas 2023-10-08 23:46

Finally got around to playing this! Lots of fun! I think the central mechanic and gameplay is really enticing and has the potential to be quite addictive

Might be my lack of skill, but I did find that sometimes I seemed to pretty unlucky with the draw, and wouldn't get the pieces needed to make dynamite to clear enough space for other pieces, so I was a little stuck. Very much on theme 😅 I think you mentioned on stream though that there should always be a way to solve the puzzle from any position, so I was probably just missing something! But regardless of that, the game had that "just one more go" appeal so I kept retrying after a few failures on some of the levels and managed to make it to level five

I think this has a lot of potential to be built out into a longer game (or a board game 👀), which would allow the new tile types and mechanics to be introduced more gradually

Overall, a really nice, well polished entry with great writing and graphics that fits the theme really well and in a super fun way!

madbarron 2023-10-14 00:16

I love this game! The core concept is super basic but you added so many genius layers on top like composite buildings and demolition orders. Very well designed gameplay, it was very fun. Graphically everything works great. It would be nice to have a different "texture" or pattern for each color for colorblind folks. A huge amount of polish and content for a jam game as well. Congrats on the fantastic entry and way to represent Team Space Ltd! 👏🏻

deltamain 2023-10-17 08:20

Beautiful and interesting game! I still cannot comprehend how you can make a good and polished tutorial in just three days! Very impressive!
