Very cool take on the theme! I like how you managed the difficulty curve - it's challenging but rewarding when there are a bunch of planes to keep track of.

I felt like the guy in that episode of Breaking Bad. I really liked it! Very fun, creative, and a great use of the theme! Great job!

Reminds me of my fave Mini Airways but more puzzl-y. Good take and very well done!

I LOVE THIS GAME SO MUCH !!!! GREAT JOB!!!

termight 2026-04-21 09:13

This was very nice. It had so many content I loved it!

glem-fumeno 2026-04-21 15:05

I love it! reminds me of the chaos of mini metro and mini motorways. Maybe a trillogy? mini airplaines?

aboogoost 2026-04-21 20:22

Very fun! The sfx on landing make me think something bad is happening. I love the gameplay! Keyboard shortcuts for commands would be great as well to speed up inputs.

penagwin 2026-04-22 01:33

This was really fun! 305 flights in 13 days!

reed-molbak 2026-04-22 01:39

@penagwin nice job! The farthest I ever got was 11 :joy:

runningopenloop 2026-04-22 02:01

I really like these types of games. I guess the next step would be to up the graphics and make things a little more blingy.

boudichon 2026-04-22 02:22

Simple and intuitive gameplay yet very fun. Stopped after 20 days since there didn't seem to be anything new. Good call on the auto-land upgrade, it greatly helped. Very strong submission, one of my favorites so far

This is super fun! I love managing so many things at once, until planes collide of course, but that's what mistakes are for..right? It's a simple and cute artstyle, which works really well with a game like this. The audio was a bit loud so a better balance might be nice for starting, but overall great work. It's one of my favourites so far this jam!

frozenfire92 2026-04-22 02:35

Wow, this is one of my favorites I've played so far! Really a lot of fun, keep on making games!

This entry is super fun! Highly recommend

Nice implementation of the theme, super creative. Loved the gameplay too, and it's pretty intuitive too.

The insta land strat is too op... I started doing it, and then it gave me an upgrade that would do it for me. All you have to do is speed up a plane if its going in the run way the same time as another one. At day 30 I had to call it quits, but I wanted to see how long it can run "by itself", so I set up a macro to auto depart planes out of the top runway and click the next day when it appeared. I started with about 15 mistakes, and it made it to about the end of day 50, making 35 mistakes in 20 days, so theres around 2 crashes you have to avoid per day it seems. Cool game it was a lot of fun

pavel-goncharov 2026-04-22 03:45

Wow! This is the kind of game I look for in a game jam! Very polished—it almost feels like a complete game. I think you should consider giving this idea more time and releasing it on Steam.

reed-molbak 2026-04-22 03:52

@ofoof that's really cool to hear! I didn't balance the later stages very much, so I'd believe that it gets pretty rote once you have four runways and autoland (when I was testing it out, I don't think I was good enough to have everything sorted by the time you get autoland, and when you have planes holding it's a blessing and a curse).

Might be cool to have runway "refresh time" or something, so that you're forced to hold more.

This is a great compo game and a ton of fun! I could spend a lot of time trying to optimize this. At one point I completely forgot about departing flights, which got me, haha. Nice work!

2026-04-22 04:38

Really well done! Feels stressful but satisfying to watch when several planes are all on the screen at once. I think I probably wasn't aggressive enough on landing and ended up always just barely avoiding collisions by pulling in or landing/cancel landing. I agree with the other comments on the audio being a little harsh, and (completely hypocritically) could use just a little more length in the music loop I think. I was excited to try this one out since our team also initially went down the air traffic control route.

The best-designed game I've played so far! Really interesting mechanics. It took me awhile to realize the "knots" thing was per-plane, I was wondering why some planes were going way faster than others.

I did find that if you ever reach a point where there's only one plane on screen at any given time it becomes almost impossible to die.

Big jet meta is the way

Really fun and intuitive game. I liked the limited, but interesting controls and the upgrades that offered little variation. Well done!

squimmy 2026-04-22 06:40

This is great! The idea is engaging and simple and the execution leans into that simplicity. I can see myself coming back to play this again after I'm finished reviewing other games.

helgust 2026-04-22 08:00

As a fan of airplanes, I absolutely loved this game! Blending simple visuals with intense gameplay, it perfectly captures the feeling of being a flight dispatcher!

mofox 2026-04-22 13:41

It fits gamejam pefectly! Really fun and creative game. Suitable and simple graphics make the game more attractive. However, I found a way to play this game easily. You can make every plane land directly and they will not crash together. I suggest you can show tha land button after a plane fly over one round. It my solve the problem.

tykki19 2026-04-22 14:21

Reminds me about some mobile game that I used to play if I recall correctly. Nicely executed with all bits and pieces that are needed. Congratz!

recursor 2026-04-22 16:59

I quite enjoyed this. The controls are simple but great and the upgrades serve to gradually make it even more fun. I had a hard time stopping.

lloydlobo 2026-04-23 08:06

I liked the concept and execution. Wish you make an additional open sandbox version. This has great potential for tinkering and modding! Good job!
