nice game
The controls for scooping up things and attacking don't work
Hey @simeon-radivoev, if you right-click (not hold) on an enemy or pile it should work. Please let me know if it's still not working! Thanks for the report!
Loved the assets and unique character movement!
@IanLux controls worked, sometimes, it's a hit and miss, sometimes they work sometimes they don't, for scooping up things I couldn't get it to work, Clicking holding left mouse button, neither worked.
What a stunning game, your teams Art work is next level - speaking of which the level composition when you move to the edge of your garden was awesome. Two things I would suggest if you had more time. could you make the pick-ups pick up-able by proximity, having to click on them is just extra steps. could you please tone down the music a touch, perhaps add a volume slider in easy reach.
Overall great game, and again I am incredibly impressed with the art work.
The presentation and visual style here is great, with some polishing it'd make a great wave defense/tycoon type game.
I found the controls to be a bit cumbersome, with right click doing almost everything for the character, and found some things I tried to interact with got obscured in some way, either being invisible due to being blocked by an object, or my character moving into the items and blocking the click.
I can see tons of potential here, it's really well made, and given how short the jam was it's very impressive.
(comment got duplicated, whoops)
I thought the graphics were cool, but I couldn't play. The player just stands still in the middle of the stage, I probably didn't understand the commands correctly...
Like the overall idea but the controls are a bit hard to get used to and also I would put a mute/unmute button somewhere in-game (or at least highlight it in case I didn't saw it)
But other than that, good entry :D
I couldn’t scrap my things and I got a but of duplicating items into the scrap machine. Seriously, the graphics are beautiful, the character is great, not too much animations which is a great assembly of aesthetics and tricks which is what I love in Game Art. The controls feel odds and a bit clunky in fight but it is made in one week end, which is already insane. Seriously a great job, GGs
Wow love the aesthetics and the polishing on your game, great job! Also, I found that if you pause the game while holding RMB, release the button and then unpause, the robot will constantly move in the mouse direction without the need to hold the button. It made it more pleasant for me to control the character :D
It looks very polished and well-made. I had fun. A few points:
- When I click on enemies to attack from distance, it also moves our character to there, it would be nice to another attack button or seperate move/attack logic. - When I click to collect something from ground, if it is behind our character, we cannot pick even if some parts of collectible is visible. I assume it is something to do with LineTrace function. Maybe you can use MultiLineTrace to collect all the objects and decide on what we hit? Idk
Overall, it has so much potential and very good game. Good job!
Cool game and music, but as everyone else commented - you should separate controls cause RMB is overwhelmed with actions(it was super uncomfortable to be unable to move when I target enemy :crying_cat_face: ).
Great idea. I like the graphics and the sounds. - The UI looks good, but its sometimes hard to use, having to drag everything one thing at a time into the scrap maker and not being able to just drop it in the scrapmaker without opening its menu. - For someone just clicking and dragging the mouse button around to move, i hard issues figuring out how to mine scraps  its also weird right clicking the enemies to shoot them, sometimes i moved closer before actually shooting them (because i didn't click em the first time), having shooting/harvesting bound to a different input from walking could improve the feel of it - Enemies and scrap-piles stopped spawning after 5 minutes, seems unintentional. - I thought its about disassembly and tried to disassemble the solar panels and stuff, didn't work, but thats probably my misinterpretation. Anyways, cool graphics and i like the movement mechanic. Good job
Art and music for this game are very well made! The core gameplay that exists is also fun and addictive.
The only problem I have is controls - it's very inconvenient to have shoot/pickup and move on the same button. A lot of the time my character just moves toward the enemy instead of starting to shoot when I right click the enemy. Relocating those actions to LMB would probably solve the problem.
Nonetheless, the game looks and sounds great, and as I said the core gameplay is super fun! Good job!
Nice, I feel the core gameplay idea here is really nice! I think the controls could use a little work as even in just the time I played my middle finger started to get tired on the mouse being used so much. But a little polish to the gameplay to go with the fantastic music and visuals and I think this could be really fun!
Yay, finally a game made with unreal! It took me a little while to figure out how it worked at first, but after a little thought it's fine, I like this game!
Controls weren't intuitive could be improved. Great art direction with the character but the scene looks off. I can't pinpoint why it's like that but a cohesive art style could be good. Other than that great idea and execution.
This looks really amazing! I love the little character and the UI windows are also really well done! There are so many different mechanics going on in here, impressive to get them all done, great job!
