Very clever game. I think the window adds a lot to the already tight game mechanics. I also really like the audio and the story elements you've added.
Great job, one the best entries I've played.

I made it to the coffee machine. Totally worth it!
I think you're being a little hard on yourself in the game description. The graphics and animations are really nice and I love the colour matching mechanic when you meet people.
It took me a few tries to realise that money caries over when you click "Retry". This allows you to buy items at the computer. I think you could skip the "Retry" and just take the user back to the desk with a comment like "Another day..." sort of like groundhog day :)
Perhaps the items you buy could make you walk faster as well as further so that it's less of a grind.
Anyway, nice game and well done!
Nice, simple game. I kept destroying the batteries though which made it rather difficult :)
Very cool concept. I think the atmosphere is great and the presentation is slick. You could have the battery on the phone reflect the amount of power remaining in the game. You could then just prevent use of the phone once the battery is dead - leaving the player to figure it out by themselves.
Anyway, nice job!
Really great graphics and atmosphere. It took me a while to figure things out and unfortunately I couldn't seem to charge a battery despite having a fully charged fluff in the wheel.
Still, very impressive for 48 hours.
Lovely graphics and I like that the action takes place in a small amount of the screen. I think you should tone down the particle effects a little as it quickly becomes confusing.
Well done.
Great colour palette and I love the little birds :) I think the relationship between the girl and robot was sweet. The game is too hard for me though - the platforming is very unforgiving.
Overall though, its really impressive.
Very slick for 48 hours. I'd have liked a sprint key but appreciated the incredible range of the gun - really fun.
Great job.
Lovely animations and nice sound effects. It feels very polished.
My only feedback would be that the powerup's are difficult to identify as they look like bullets (or at least they did to me).
Very enjoyable though, great job
Incredible game for 48 hours. The graphics, animation, and atmosphere are really excellent. The gameplay concept is unique too.
I did find it a little tricky at first. I think it probably needs some more introductory levels demonstrating the affect that a wave has on another wave. I also wonder if the two-way connector blocks could have little monitors in them so that you can see what the result is (I realised that's why you have the Oscilloscope but I rarely used it).
I think it would be a very enjoyable game if you continue it post-jam.
Nice idea, very unique. I love the little touches like the Remaining Power text being used as an indicator and the funny comments when you lose.
Great job.
Really unique concept and its works very well. I love the different boards representing different aspects of life. I think my only comment would be that the power bar, as far as I can tell, just maps to the age so could probably be combined with the age counter so that its clearer. Really great job though! well done.
Interesting puzzle game. I'm terrible at it but its nicely put together and I like the sound effects.
Well done.
I really enjoyed this. I love the handmade approach to the art assets - its works really well. The screen when you die is really funny - it would be good to have a few more with different injuries.
I think it needs some polish in terms of gun effects but I'd love to see an expanded version with more room and enemy types.
Really great job, well done.
This was fun. I loved the cars and ended up focusing on trying to outrun them rather than collecting batteries.
Solid game, well done.
I had lots of fun with this one. The graphics are really great, very colourful. The mechanic for absorbing energy is near and definitely keeps things interesting.
The bullets seemed to pass through me though. This essentially means that the game is just about avoiding crashing into enemies.
Good job though :)
Lovely animations and great presentation in general. I like the mechanic of distributing power to your defenses.
I think 'x' is an awkward key for firing when wasd is used for movement. Maybe something on right side of the keyboard would be better.
Other than that, great job.
I'm afraid that I struggled to understand how to play this one. I couldn't seem to buy anything and didn't really understand the scrap icons on the purchase screen.
It looks incredible though is very unique.
Fun game. Really good concept and impressive how much you've completed. Like others, I died rather quickly but that did encourage me to have several attempts :)
Well done.
Great game and very atmospheric. I loved the matches being used as checkpoints. Shame there isn't a little more of it.
Great job
Great graphics and a really serene experience which I appreciated. Well done :)
Really polished and a lovely concept. I think the levels are very well designed and incorporating the main platform into the power mechanic is genius.
The only problem I had was figuring out how to start playing the game. It took me an embarrassingly long time to realise that I had to click the 1. I think you could solve it by having the title screen be the first easy level.
Well done!
Great music and lovely aesthetic. A very relaxed game although it is tough - maybe the red ball is a tad too quick.
The only other thing I'd change is to have any key wake you up rather than binding it to Q. You could even just have the player stop moving at the z's to recharge.
Great idea though, well done.
I managed 8 days in power. It's an interesting concept. I really like the variety in characters and the garbled voices :)
It might be nice if, rather than having the income change dynamically, it was based on setting a bribe amount. Maybe you are rewarded with money if you bribe successfully or something like that. So you can decide which characters to gamble on.
Anyway, great job!
I love the introductory sequence with the power outage notice, it really helped to set the scene. The graphics in general were really good and you did a great job of setting the mood.
I agree with the comments above. I struggled to understand what to do.
Great idea though and lovely graphics.
Nicely thought through and very easy to play. I found myself slightly mesmerised by it :)
Well done.
Fun game but as souperstrawer said, super hard. I think some health pickups would help.
The levels were interesting but I only got to see a couple as I kept dying :)
Great job though, very fun.
@LittleLegend - thanks. Glad the Ghibli inspiration showed through (Mainly Howl's with a little bit of spirited away ;)
@tacohej - thanks also. Very good point about picking up stone with tools other than the hand. I should find a way to block drag events for those tools.
You're both being kind on the aesthetics. I really wanted to revisit them but didn't have time. Probably something to do post-competition :)
@quaternius - thanks and good point on the cursor.
@kthulhu1947 - thank you :)
@impbox - Great feedback thanks. Very helpful. This comment is also going straight on the Trello board :)
@wevel - thanks. Definitely needs more challenge later in the game - I'll work on that for my post-jam version.
@agecaf - thanks for playing. Fair comment about the late came. Interesting that you mentioned growing slimes - something to explore post-jam.
@shaolin-dave - thanks. Funny we had similar ideas :)
@cliffracerx - thanks for playing. Late game repetitiveness is becoming a theme. Thanks for the comments on the audio too - it needs a total overhaul as I had very little time on it.
@kalibrated - thanks and glad you discovered some tricks. Auto-showing the help is a good idea.
@hilvon - thanks for playing. I have a million ideas to extend gameplay which I'm hoping to look into post-jam.
@jackyjjc - thanks for the detailed feedback and nice comments, much appreciated. It definitely needs more longevity.
@oab - thanks :)
@jupiter-hadley - thanks for playing my game and recording it :) Its cool watching someone else play.
@sarah - ha, yeh maybe that needs a tweak :)
@boxfort - thanks for playing and for the kind words about the artstyle. Upgrades and locations are definitely on my Trello board for post-jam.
I enjoyed this one. I like the sense of progression with levels getting progressively harder. I also like that you added an element of strategy with the distances between outlets (and even some outlets being 1-time use).
My only comment would be that diagonal movement uses up your energy twice as quickly - presumably because your code is subtracting energy for both inputs. This means you end up moving vertically and horizontally only. Of course, that may be the intention, if so then ignore this :)
Great job, well done!
Nice game. I think a few sounds would make a difference (e.g. when prospecting is complete).
Well done for completing it in the 48 hours
I definitely enjoyed the simple presentation and easy to understand controls. Not much else to add really. I read a comment above about indicating how much power a move will take - that seems like a good idea. Well done.
That was fun, well done. Everything works well together. I definitely appreciate the mechanic of the game not ending once you're out of power. I think its a nice game, especially for 48 hours.
Great idea. I had fun. My only frustrations were in assigning tasks to crew members and also in understanding the affect it was having on production - maybe an indicator next to the resource to show it's increasing?
Anyway, well done :)
Very unique idea and the presentation is really nice. I think energy runs out a little too fast though as you want to explore a little. Great job though.
Love the idea and nice graphics too. I think the mechanic of the character getting beefed-up is really fun.
The only issue I had is that the barbells don't spawn often enough - I could only make it to level 3.
Great job :)
Very unique and interesting concept. Its too fast for me though :) I did get a little better at it and was thankful for aeroplane mode.
That was unexpectedly sad. Really well put together thought and definitely the best sense of story in any of the games I've tried so far. Well done!
Great graphics and a really cool idea. I had a lot of fun with this one - was very thankful for the checkpoints though :)
I love the artwork and concept, very unique. Took me a while to understand the spell collection and I think that the enemies spawn a little quickly so its easy to be overwhelmed. Really enjoyable though and I think you've created a unique game world. Great job.
