Can't play it, the screen says something like "press a to start" four times. Nothing seems to do anything. As of this writing, your LD page has nothing but "Say something" and the link to your github, so I'll try to check back later in case you add instructions.
I love that this is multiplayer, even though I didn't have any friends to test with. Knowing my friends though, we would have had a blast with this. My only real complaint is that the theme doesn't seem to fit at all, which is too bad, but the game itself is rad. If you added different arenas and custom rulesets, this could really be a fun game to pull out with friends around! Thanks for building this and participating!
Not sure what you were going for with this. It was fun to skate around and use the interesting dual stick controls to try to swing at the puck (a little similar to trying to use an rc car to hit a soccer ball in Rocket League), and if I had my friends over we would have had fun for 10 minutes or so trying to play against each other. But minimal graphics and lack of anything other than the absolute basic puck/goal gameplay and no developed program necessities like menus or a quit option.
Wow, this is really nice. A very polished gameplay experience. The movement feels appropriately slidey, and the shooting of the puck feels very satisfying, especially when you get if going very fast. I could see it being very fun to play with a lot of people. Nice work!
This is a good concept, and I can see what you were trying to do even though I have no friends to play with. I do wish there were a better single player mode and at least some simple sound. It would have added a lot. A big part of a 48 hour challenge is figuring out how you can score while doing as little work as possible. :-)

I like it very much! There are very few nice multiplayer games that I like, even less for four players. You take place in my heart with this game. It would be nice if there were sounds

This game looks really nice, although i didn't test it with my friends yet. (~~ACTUALY I DON'T HAVE FRIENDS IT HURTS SO MUCH WHY YOU DO THIS TO ME~~) Nice physics and the art fits here pretty accurate. I'd like to see more different levels, and maybe some more mechanics. But it is still a very good submission, good work! :)
I wish I had more controllers! My kids loved playing it one player!

As a hockey player, its pretty fun to play around, but I'm all by myself :) The ball gets moving a little fast sometimes but other than that the whole game experience is there, and overall nice job!

I like the game, you made a grat job, keep doing games, Good Luck
Game runs smoothly, and if I had friends to play with we'd probably have fun playing it for a while. I generally try to avoid these types of games when I make games for jams, because I'd probably have to spend the whole weekend programming an AI. I assume you came to the same conclusion a while into this game :p
Graphics are programmer art. Most people are either programmers or designers. You're clearly the former :p I'm also more of a programmer than an artist, but something I realized (at least for me personally) is that 3D art makes the game look a lot more impressive and is actually easier to pull off. If you learn the basics of a 3D-modelling program such as Blender, you could have made a simple goal and hockey stick (just look up pictures on Google and basically make a replica) and have the player be a sphere with eyes, and with the camera a bit tilted you'd have a great looking game.
Aside from that, a pause menu and a way to quit the game besides alt+f4 would have been great. Also, the game is unrelated to the theme. You could have given each player an endurance bar which determines movement speed and which gradually decreased. The players could pick up randomly spawning batteries (or soda bottles or whatever) to refill endurance, and suddenly the game would fit the theme very well.
Those are just my suggestions though. Take notice of everyone's suggestions and try to improve next time. After all, becoming a better game developer is what Ludum Dare is about :)

I looooooove Hockey! The game is fun to play, great job!
I don't have a controller, but it sound fun, which is good i guess!
I tried it alone, would have been awesome to play in four player mode :)
Some notes:
* I think it would be nice to have round corners on the playing field, and more space behind the goal and the rink.
* Placeholder sound would have been nice, and some particles.
* I really like the one to one relation to the controller and the pad. Its a little tricky to pull off, but feels a lot like easy to learn but hard to master.
Cool game :)
