Chess- but with a twist!

this is beautifully done!! I had a really great time playing; really impressed that you're networked! I also love the space aesthetic. Worked really well! Bravo to you!!

I don't play chess nor do I have friends, but I was able to play with myself for a little bit. Very nice game.

Wow! Unusual mechanics. I would try to play, but not with anyone. Music maintains the atmosphere. Nice graphics. The controls look comfortable.

Very nice concept. Tried to play locally, but for sure I'll try with my friends. Also, I love the idea of multiple parallel chessboards!

Original idea, I like it!

Ahh, always love a new chess variant! This is a cool way to add a dimension to chess, I love the possibilities this introduces for further things to add to the rules. Also, playing chess in space is quite enjoyable! :)

What a great twist on chess! looks very good too, i'm not very skilled at chess, my elo is certainly very low, but i do love it, and adding some puzzle aspects to it was a great call and works wonders. I do think you shouldn't let pawns go backwards and should force to move kings out of checks, but that's more of a personal opinion i guess, i loved the experience, great game, congrats!

Interessting Concept. I could only play against myself, which is not Ideal, would have loved a rudimentary ai

Great twist on chess and great take on the concept. This game doesn't look easy to pull off. Would love to see animations in the future to enhance the feel of the game.

Reminds me of [5D Chess with Multiverse Timetravel](https://store.steampowered.com/app/1349230/5D_Chess_With_Multiverse_Time_Travel/)

I played one game with my girlfriend, and I tried to capture her king with a rook crashing through the ceiling. But I miscounted how many times the tile was travelled over, so it stayed topside. Then, she captured my rook with her knight, causing *the knight* to crash through the ceiling. She squashed her own king!

My king was so mortified that he ran to the bottom layer and leaped into the void.

Fun times! I think I won that game? Technically..?

This is a really nice addition to the original chess game. I just got two points, I would like to mention: - First, when making a multi-player game, it is good practice, to allow the player to change the port the game uses. (I actually ran into a conflict and had to shut down a service at my home to make the game work accross our network. Probably, that's just me, but as I said, good practice.) - Another bug, you didn't mention in your "known bugs" section (at least I didn't see it) is that I was able to move an entity over the edge, where it would fall to the lowest layer.

Very nice game, though.

PS: If you plan on continuing the game, I would love to see a way to move upwards, too.
