Very good...easy to start hard to master. Like the graphics and the physics. Well done.

Physics were putting me off a bit. Didn't quite catch when i would clip through the drawing and when i would stand on it. Got to 120 score in the end. Very fun and I have no idea how i would make this myself. Kudos
Love the idea, although the physics do get wonky for me.
Took a while to get the hang of it, and then I just realized I suck at the game :) I really liked the gameplay. A nice twist on something we've seen before. It makes you want to hav "just one more try" and that is well done for a jam game.

Figured out how to get high scores with my wonky physics. Sometimes you can draw a shape around you that will propel you high when jumping. Maybe it's not intended, but I had a lot of fun breaking your game!

Cool game, Platforms are more obstacles than help :D you can go up just by drawing lines below yourself.
Nice! I liked the idea of using drawing, I had some problems with the physics of it and drawings disappearing when I got past 150~ish score.
Really cool idea!
Very innovative idea! I like the leader board it motivated me to survive longer. I didn't know there is a leader board when I input my name, otherwise I would use a better name than "sad". Very fun game I enjoyed it.
Wow, okay - the art is fantastic, the idea is great, and it definitely fits the theme. For me, at least, it was way too challenging. Love the idea of building the level yourself.
Hard game!)
Really nice idea, though I struggled to get very far with my very clunky drawings! Great job!
Excellent concept, with a lot of potential. The physics of the object we create is really hard to predict, making the whole experience really hard, but if this points can be fix, the game would then be probably awesome. I really like the artistic approach of the game. In the end, definitely an interesting entry and a good work, good job :)
I absolutely adore it and can't think of anything to critique except MAYBE the lag on some physics processes (very rare, but I got to around 180 score in 4 or 5 plays and it happened maybe 3 times).
Amazing work though, wow. I'm blown away
Cool game! I really enjoyed the concept!
With a little more polish and that would be a masterpiece! Well done!
It is hard! But funny! :)
Good Idea ! But no espace to return to menu. Bad physics. Need to click on how to play, but you can wrote it at start
All of you guys are playing this game wrong. It's not buggy, it's intentional!

If you put yourself in a hamster ball, you are inside the and then the jump raycaster detects something beneath you and allows you to jump. So just spam jump, because you'll always be in that thing :stuck_out_tongue: I quit when I got the first 1000+ score. Honestly I think this is the only way to get a good score, because for some reason the game deletes your drawings after a score of 300 or so. Maybe if you wanted less wonky physics, perhaps the player should have had an "ink gauge," and random pickups would refill it?
I like this game. I've seen the concept of drawing platforms before, but never with physics. The only thing missing from this game is a satisfying drawing sound
I conclude my ramble. Keep up the good work, both of you better be in Ludum Dare 51!
@celtican Ah yes the ink gauage and drawing sounds were cut for time purposes (I had some recorded but they sounded not great once in game, no time to fix it properly).
Also, holy cow I love that you are straight up ~Hamsterballing~ :3 With more time and polish we could have fine-tuned the physics/drawn objects, something to think about if we want to work more on this one.
Thanks for your kind words, this is my 2nd ever Jam (although Shane's a long-time veteran), this duo will def be back for another Ludum Dare. :v:
Really fun drawing the shapes, and a the physics worked well. I like the endless piece of paper and hand drawn art style.
Great idea for a game! The simple artstyle fits this game perfectly. This game has a lot of potential with some fine tuning.
Great idea, good looking graphics. Physics could use some tweaking, drawn objects would act sporadic and often clip through things.
Graphics looked great but theplayer and drawing interactions could use some work.
Great game and the physics and collisions work most of the time really good, which is nice. Well done.
Genius. The concept is incredible and totally unique, it seemed like a long-lost DS game or something. I did run into some bugs with incorrect collisions and one time no platforms spawned in at the start. Overall, a really strong entry, I have no idea how you managed to program all of that in the time frame.
Love it! I found my own strategy to get a high score, and then immediately ditched it when I saw what everyone else was doing (XD)! I ended up drawing a line beneath me, jumping off of it and then doing the same thing mid-air! Really great game, I love the drawing mechanic, 4/5 stars! :D
Couldn't manage to go over 41 haha I just saw the hamster method. I really enjoyed the concept as I've never it before! Well done!
I really like that the game can be played in different ways and the mechanics are so versatile that it allows you to try different strategies. Physics is not very predictable. Although in general it adds hardcore and strangeness in it can be perceived as part of the challenge.
I really love the concept and the idea of drawing your own shapes to get upwards. I'm incredibly bad at this game but I still had a lot of fun playing!
It's a cute theme with the lined background and I love that I can draw whatever I want. The ocean graphics are also super cute!!
Overall well done :3
Very different, which is nice to see. Challenging enough to make you come back for more.
A clear aesthetic and a well polished menu UI.
It did seem that just drawing large boxes on top of each other was a workable strategy but I imagine there were other workable ones (not including the hamster ball cheat  ).
I also had an issue with my lines disappearing after a certain point but there are always going to be post-jam bugs to squash.
Well done!
Wow this was a SUPER impressively put together mechanic for a game jam!! Overall polish is wonderful, and a lot of the silly physics really adds to the fun (feature not a bug like others said!). Nice entry!
