A very challenging game with a large map. I did not make it half 🤣
The map is a bit too big for me
The graphics are really great and nice atmosphere.
Good job!:)
Very nice ! Its remind me the Old Pokemon version ahaha.
very fun to play !
Good light, we work also with shader and we have also a lot of issue with ligthing in webgl. Congrats to the team
Nice challenge and lighting is moody. In my opinion, the character controller could be a bit less floaty.
The map IS HUGE omg haha, but I love the lighting, it really adds to the overall mood of the game. It makes it feel more spooky and broken, and the actual monster is REALLY CUTE!!! I MEAN VERY SCARY! The map looks really nice, it's very detailed and it takes a while to get around.
Also nice job on the task completion part, it's interesting to try and figure out how to win, but it's definitely a bit challening! Overall, well done!
OHMYGOODNESS THIS WAS HARD! It was a GREAT entry! I loved the lighting and the music so much. So creepy! And yeah, the map was HUGE! Even after playing it so much, I still have no idea where to go XD
Great graphics and i really liked the gameplay it reminded me a lot of the House... I love the gameplay loop where you repeat the day until you get all the timings and positions right is so satisfying. I really enjoyed playing it and thank you for making it! :3
Great game! Controls were a bit too "loose" for my liking, it's a pretty big map, but this just make the timing tighter and therefore more satisfying to repair the things (But I couldn't find the last processor I needed to repair the phone). The limit of the storage seems a bit reduntant as I was able to put more than twenty in there, atleast via the conveyer. Which is good because that allowed me to circle the map trying to find the last part, without worrying too much about the creature breaching.
That was fun. I managed to beat the game as well! I will say having something to ease into it a little better so you don't just die a few time until you start getting the lay of the land so some guidance at the start would be helpful. The controls were a little loose and I got stuck on things often. I loved the artstyle of the game, the music, and the idea. Panicked running around while frantically trying to search every room for what I need was a lot of fun! I think a little polish and this would be a really good little game!
- Lots of text to digest in the intro (consider "feeding it" to the user in chunks if possible) - Objectives were nice pinned at the top, but the details on what each was, was only available upon encountering said object (not everyone reads the "fine print" on the LD page) - Really liked the music - Some sounds (or even VFX) to know when an interaction is successful (more feedback to the user) - Some more landmarks / breadcrumbs (e.g. like the storage sign on the wall, that was nice) on the map to have some insight on where to go for what (otherwise was really hard to gather everything required) - Graphics and lighting were on point with the theme - Maybe highlight the items that are interactable a bit so users know if they should "attempt" traversing a room for an object or not - Corridors felt a bit long to traverse (with not much to do whilst moving, consider adding some interaction if just walking around would be a big part of the game, e.g. a sprint button, consult some info on objective etc.) - In terms of balancing, felt a bit short of a time to complete objectives - Game fail state was a bit sudden and had no information on when it would run out (except if being in the room with the creature)
Nice idea and execution, great job assembling everything up!
Nice concept but the game is very tedious before you fix the conveyors. The fact it requires 3 items and one of them is in the dark makes the experience quite painful. Without the conveyor harvesting is useless because by the time you put your stuff in the storage you got a new one. I managed to fix everything except the containment, didn't have the motivation to finish the game. The movement mechanic is also a bit clunky because it always move forward by 1 unit but you can lose alignment by pressing the side buttons. Still the game looks great and it was fun even though I didn't feel like completing it
I was able to finish it but I can thank the map you share in the description haha! I had to note on it all the items. That's how I found out the bug on the objects you were talking about and that I needed to restart. When I restarted the game it was way more straight forward. When you get how the game works it is way easier. But the first time, the map really is big! It's nice that you had put only one item per room and the little "secret" path in the dark really feels like you found a secret short cut. But the phone illimited ability to clear completely the storage is maybe too powerful. When I had it with the conveyor the game lost its challenge. Anyway I was able to fill the storage by the conveyor even when it was full. Maybe a more "guided" repair order could have been nicer to control the difficulty in a way. At the end I really enjoy the atmosphere and the game overall :)
The lighting is really nice and the concept is cool. It's a bit imbalanced though as I can only get like two items before the monster gets angry.
The idea is pretty innovative. I liked the visuals, music etc. Wish the map was smaller and the movement didn't have damping. But overall a really well made game. Lighting, sliding door etc. gives it a very polished look  .
Cool game, I like the concept. The game looks and plays nice.
Nicely done, although as other said, the map is pretty big and we get lost easily :'(
Low-key reminds me of among us haha
I enjoyed it! The sign indicating which way for storage was a good addition. Learning as you went what the benefit was of repairing each object was part of the charm. The graphics are on-point, particularly the monster, who is just really cool to look at. I would have loved if he burst out on lose, but we all know the time commitment to making those kind of flairs. Similarly something to show your triumphant win. If I were to prioritize anything, it would be making it more clear to the player when they are getting low on time - maybe more intense music, or the screen gets shaky, or even more lighting changes.
But, these are nitpicks. Overall, great job!
Very enjoyable. Played the web version. I liked not knowing the monster status unless you were nearby. The push your luck when exploring kept a sense of jeopardy.
Nice game! I really like the idea! I think if it were more fleshed out it would be much more fun... The atmosphere was really well-made, the science lab looked pretty good, and the map was HUGE. The music really suited the environment and made it feel super tense.
However, some things I think you could note are: 1. It's hard to look around a giant map for something with no logical reason of being there. I think if there was a better sense of direction, this game would feel great! 2. I think difficulty is kind of hard to balance, since when playtesting, you the developer already know where things are, but us players don't have any clue what things are and where they are. 3. Player movement felt kind of janky since you don't immediately stop after release.
Overall tho, for a jam entry, this was truly a game with a nice horror-like atmosphere. The idea is there, and could very well be expanded upon... Great work!
A pretty big map, as mentioned. Harvesting the monster for chemicals is a nice mechanic. I liked your graphics and lights a lot. The movement should stop much sooner when releasing a key. A solid entry!
That's a really well made map here. The lighting really gives the place that "half broken down" feel and while the simple "find a thing, pick it up, bring it back to start" could probably still be improved (like. once you see where a thing is, it's trivial to pick it up), you've achieved a lot here in the limited time of a jam!
I noticed a few areas where map layers were wrong (like you are on top of things you should be behind), but other than that all seems to have worked fine.
Very nice run & gather game! I the curve is just good enough to keep on playing. Mood is well done with the creepy music, but I would have loved some audio effects. The map was straightforward but well made, and some decisions to make on what to fix first.
Nicely done!
Huge map but loves the art style and lighting! Great job overall!
The map, graphics and lighting are very pretty, nice job. Music was well picked too. The main game mechanics felt a little tedious because you ended up just restarting again and again and then rewalking the map, but it was a pretty tour!
I felt it was quite tricky in that the map is very large, and you have to basically walk all of it to find the different items, and then remember that and go for your 'final playthrough' and hope you don't accidentally lose track of time. But maybe with some refinement or some helpful UI that could be alleviated a little. One bug that confused me for a bit was that doors sometimes didn't open properly for me - confused me for my first few attempts when I couldn't get into storage.
Either way, nice entry - there's a lot of content here!
More details on what the player should be doing or a more robust tutorial would help.

Thank you all for playing and rating! Another great ludum dare for the books  We've decided to keep going on this game and reworking it for a full release. We are going to take your feedback to heart and rework it to be a "multiplayer escape room experience". If you have additional feedback or would be interested in a ping on release, reply to this message
Thanks for playing!
That sounds like it will be really fun! @frozenfire92 I can't wait to see it!
