Good game! Come and see mine!
This was a nice entry. It has quite a bit going for it. The entire concept of the world getting more destroyed as you go collect items to fix your helicopter was cool. I really liked when you would have to build while running, there was definitely some fun to be had there. My biggest concern though was the graphics. To me they didn't feel very cohesive, and it felt like lots of different models and animations were put in the game from a variety of different sources. Overall though, this was pretty decent.
Nice game! Good use of the theme - losing a few blocks every 10s doesn't seem so bad, but then you find yourself with almost no island left. If you update again the future it would be great to have some kind of radar for the pieces since I spent most of the time wandering randomly to find them (especially the blades are a bit hard to spot.) It was fun to navigate the sinking island and build bridges though!
Honestly I was really impressed, not only does it have polished graphics and audio but the gameplay is solid and the controls felt good. Also woah, difficulty settings! Thanks for that! I played on easy and eventually finished the level. It felt really sad, like, yeah the island is just sinking into the sea, and you can't swim. But eventually I got it down. If you are having a hard time you can use a gamepad to move around and press space to heal the island. It was really fun, I thought the whole thing was really professional and I was super impressed. Well done!
I liked the music and the graphics. The game could have been at bit longer. Nice entry.
Good game,music too good
I found it super challenging, but a lot of fun - It was hectic but I had to be strategic. I personally don't mind the graphics too much, some other bits of spice to the gameplay would've been cool, like walls or something chasing you. Overall, really fun entry!
The audio and effects really hammered in a sense of urgency as I scrambled around the island, slapping down scrap as I hunted down the last helicopter part. Great job!
The graphic is nice. And the main character and his movement are great. It was funny to play. And the idea of collapsing island is unique.
Lovely game. Good graphics, nice sound effects and music. Well done.
Wow, this was really great! Your 3-D modeling served you well here and the music/sound were perfect to complement the actual challenge of a fun game. Getting that final helicopter animation was very satisfying, and of course I love the humor present in the menus. No, I'm not playing over and over to see the death messages; I'm just that bad at this!
The 3D models here are great! It feels like a polished, finished game just on the style alone!
The game has some 'interesting' quirks with its drifty motion (takes a while for a turn to register), floaty 'gravity', and odd collisions that I both want fixed and yet want left alone because some of those quirks made this game so fun in the first place.
I think these are more polish points than anything against the concept itself. The concept is solid. I'd like to see this turned into a real game!
One note, for hard mode, this game could really benefit from a minimap or something. Some kind of indicator for the parts, as it becomes quite like a maze once enough parts of the island collapse.
Otherwise, a solid entry!
Edit: oh, one more note, the scrap pile pickups and the scrap platforms look VERY similar to one another, and in a bad way. It might be good to add more visible differences like color or even just making the pickup rotate could help.
Solid entry! Enjoy the mechanic of picking up scraps and fixing the holes, simple but fun. The graphics, sound and music also fits well! good job!
Love the pressure to find the pieces and removing paths overtime. Great job !
Great little jam game, the scrap for floor mechanism wasn't super clear at first but once I got my head around that it all came together. Nice job!
Well this was a pretty manic game I died a lot had a lot fun laughed at the super strong scientist with a pocket dimension box and placed a LOT of scrap platforms.
As for gameplay though and not the hilarious setup, at least at points, it's an interesting one it had relatively simple controls which was nice since I missed the help tooltip, though tbf I prefer that rather than making me click through it so that's nice. and it's a little nicer than just have a few screens of text on a tutorial screen.
It's definitely got a few janky hitboxes, though they're in the players favor so they weren't too annoying which is nice, just something to mention. The only real addition I can suggest would be some sort of indication as to the direction of the helicopter, it's not needed, but it would make it easier rather than walking to the edge everytime. Though that's really just QOL
Overall a really nice little game to run through, I guess one other addition that could help would be some sort of score system, but for a quick one and done run or beat the difficulty it's definitely a nice one.
Very solid game. Great visuals and audio. It would have been a lot easier to control if when world was rotated by 45 degrees though, it was a bit confusing to have to press two direction keys to walk straight along the tiles. Maybe click to move instead of WASD would be another idea.
Great game. It looks good and is fun to play, even falling in the water was fun with all the different messages.
Nice game, i sometimes clipped at edges bit this might just be me and my uncoordinated fingers
That was fun. I feel like it may have controlled better if the collider were better because you can sorta get stuck half-off a block. The premise is fine. It plays well! The UI is gray, and it would be cool if it had a custom graphic or something. Nice submission!
Fun and unique game, got very intense at the end.
This was a very fun game to play and I really did enjoy it, it really feels more challenging at Hard mode, and the best bit about this was the fact that you learn the controls very quickly, very good
Nice and polished game! I like the game mechanics :-) Only the map is either a bit too big or there needs to be a hint where to find the parts or similar. I often searched very long in the maze to find just one part.
However the Sound and graphics are really great, love them!
Well done.
Great entry! A fun concept that had me continuing to try until I escaped :joy: Keep on making games!
Nice job, the game felt really smooth and picking up the metal was somewhat satisfying haha. Overall I wasn't able to escape because I keep falling in :P but nice job!
Very neat idea :) I dont like the way that the metal platforms are placed, the lighten up square indicator seems a bit clunky, other than that it good. The sounds and the music add to the feel that you have to hurry up, nice graphics, a great game!
I liked this game, but I'm too dumb to pass it on a simple level
