This game was a delight! The trial/error nature was neat and was exciting enough to keep trying the different outcomes and get to the end of the forest (or not in some cases!) Art style is great and lends itself well to the mood of the being-trapped-in-a-forest-narrative. Same with the sound design. Great entry!
This is a fantastic game for both your first jam entry AND your first time using the engine! The looping made the controls feel really whacky (a good thing!) and it was an absolute perfect fit for the theme. Would've loved some music/sfx and some of the UI graphics could've been crisper, but this was a great entry, especially considering your limited time and experience with the engine. :thumbsup:
Had fun and completed all the levels! I think the last level bugged out for me and each time I restarted all the enemie slowly changed the poison(?) block. It still let me pass though so all good :D There's room to explore here with some more world obstacles (pits you could fall in, spikes you can run into, etc) and could be cool to see the addition of multiple "lives" so you can use two+ people at the sametime. I'll mirror what others above said about some sound enhancing this entry, but a fantastic game! Great job!
Great entry! You captured the theme perfectly. The frustration of the repitition was balanced well against the satisfaction of breaking the loop, so good job! :D
Cute pixel art and really interesting mechanic. I'll mirror others' sentiments regarding the slightly confusing controls and the immediate hardness of the level. Easing into it would've been great, but I eventually got the hang of it. An enjoyable entry nonetheless. Good work :)
Great entry with some good humour. The synopsis roped me in straight up :D I struggled with the bullet enemies and kept dying but still had fun time travelling. The future's too strong! haha

Loved the minimalist style on this game! The art style was a perfect fit. I sucked a lot at the drifting and the walls punished me so hard haha. I came back and was much better the second time around though. Those tyre tracks were some great polish. Would've loved some music to really nail the mood. Fantastic entry!
Neat little game! I was definitely looking forward to some more levels. The little "reveal" button popped up and I was like "No way! I can definitely get this!" And after a bunch of "damnit"s and "no!" shouts from me, I got there. Great mood. Perfect audio to match the artwork. Nice job!
A fun little game. The sound works really well with this game, and almost starts to feel like you're making a song (especially when the segments "split") Good take on the theme and well executed - nice one!
This game was super addictive. The preview of what your score was going to be was a really nice addition. My only critique is that the music "speeding up" didn't quite feel right. Maybe it was the music itself, or maybe it just needed some other sound effect/ui element to display the urgency. Awesome work on this one, loved it!

Loved the mechanic and how well it meshed with the theme - a perfect fit, with a great take on the block-pushing puzzle genre. Graphics and sound design were really cute, and really helped make this a great entry. Good stuff!
Solid entry! A pretty satisfying little shooter. More bug variations would make it more interesting (as you identified in your post mortem) as well as some varying power ups, including ones where you could choose when to deploy them (nukes, freeze, etc) The game had a great feel to it, though. So good stuff!
Art was solid, and the narrative was laid out really clearly! I even managed to eventually save enough of humanity after pilin' up the powerups.
I had trouble restarting 'cause the "Return to Home" button didn't seem to work properly.
All in all, a really great compo submission!
Cute game! The UI was good how it lit up the stand of the item you'd pick up, and really loved the extra little touches - like wearing the item, or the music coming from the headphones. Some of the art was mismatched, but still a solid entry!
Great narrative. Really got me engaged. Poor space people! Great sound design and rocket controls felt good (especially as it got its upgrades). Excellent entry!

Art is cute and music is pretty nice. I couldn't catch the rabbit. I spent way too long so I just don't know π (Was gonna look at the source to see if I actually COULD catch it but I think the repo isn't public?)
A really solid entry (especially since I see it's your first)! Things that worked well: - The narrative. It was a fun little plot and some humorous writing as well as a good little twisty take on the theme! - The art was cute and effective
Things that could be improved: - The visual/UI feedback on collecting drinks. It sorta felt like the hitboxes missed sometimes. If something lit up, it'd make it more obvious where the hitzones were - The controls all being on one hand makes for a tricky layout (You supported arrows keys which was good though)
All in all, a great jam entry. Bravo!
Nice one. The gfx were nice and had a good ambience to them. I especially liked the character exploding haha Having an easier learning curve at the start would help get players invested as they master the basics, but overall a pretty good entry!
Lots of fun! All the mini games were great and added lots of variety, keeping me on my toes. Art, music and SFX all fit the vibe of the game perfectly, and the leaderboard makes the game extra addictive. (I might have to come back to make sure I'm still on it ;) ) Fantastic compo entry, you should be really pleased with this one!

Haha sound for this was great! Really smart to make the heart bpm match the music, and also give it that sense of urgency. I found it a bit hard to grab stuff, but liked how the doctor told you what you needed to get. Nice one!

Haha a hilarious game! The short rounds mean retrying is more fun, so I appreciated that! I did have issues where sometimes the "Retry" button wouldn't come up, though. Best I could do was 19.98, getting lucky with a string of sticks before getting squished :D You really nailed the theme with this one, although I thought Gary was a cockroach! π€¦ββοΈπ Great job!

Cool jam entry! I got my runes but couldnt work out how to battle others? I love an autobattler, nice work in pulling this together in such a short time! Would've loved to see more consequences/rewards for choosing your summons in subsequent rounds. Cool to see a board game on here, and I'm a sucker for a good roll n write! The layout of your print n play was very aesthetic. I played a bunch of games with my girlfriend and we enjoyed it! My feedback would be that it needs a tiny bit more friction in placing the items. Maybe being forced to use more dice or something as I found it realtively easy to execute the plan in my mind. I also found myself just using the workspace for the final few turns sort of as a 'reroll' mechanic. Regardless of my criticism, it was an excellent entry, and cool to see something a bit different!

Solid, simple entry! Once you know the runes its a bit monotonous, but increasing the order speed helped. Adding extra words once you're comfortable would be a good little twist. Overall, good work!
Cool keyboard. Would be nicer to be able to use QWERTY keys to press the keys instead of left/right.
