This was a goofy little blast. Played to the end. Great use of theme, and all around a fun, humorous game.

kate-black 2022-04-05 16:17

its nice

martinek 2022-04-05 16:23

Really fun. I especially love how the game looked.

dtaralla 2022-04-05 16:40

The writing is just plain awesome. Really fun, and digging the look!

wilson-taylor 2022-04-05 20:36

This was cool! I wasn't expecting a point-and-click with this aesthetic but it was a blast, great job!

tinykidtoo 2022-04-06 02:28

Excellent use of the theme. Had to think a bit to get the puzzle, but once it clicked I really liked how it was all put together, really clever. A nice package, definitely reminding me of the classic point and click puzzlers.

lenny-rudeberg 2022-04-06 03:51

Always love point and click adventures, this game ROCKS! (sorry for the bad pun)

jahwffrey 2022-04-06 04:02

This is a really very clever use of the theme executed perfectly! I loved the art style, I loved the concept, well done!

trexxak 2022-04-06 11:16

My kind of humour and a lot of great creative choices! If anything, I wish that one last song would never end!

chertkov 2022-04-06 16:47

Didn't know I missed LucasArts-type quests so much. Thanks for that goofy writing and thick athmosphere!

idenoh 2022-04-06 19:30

I knew I would enjoy this game when I saw the screen shot, as an artist I know that I shouldn't ever judge a book by its cover but I couldn't help it, Awesome work!

joe-cowman 2022-04-08 05:50

Really awesome concept and execution, nice work!

adamk33n3r 2022-04-08 06:05

That was a fun experience :) Did you make the music yourself? I really liked the art style.

link270 2022-04-08 06:10

Haha really cool little game. Loved the style and the ideas behind it. Nice job!

russ-moonbase 2022-04-08 06:22

The graphics were simple but pretty awesome in my opinion. I enjoyed the puzzles and trying to figure out to get my band mates to play longer. I got the first aid kit to help get the bass player to play longer but I could never figure out what to do with the lingerie. Not sure what I was doing wrong but I still enjoyed the game.

I haven't played a point and click game at a Ludum Dare. Pretty fun

boxedmeatrevolution 2022-04-08 06:26

Very polished, and the difficulty felt just right. Art was great and put together nicely. Love the attention to detail ("it's not that kind of show" cracked me up ).

potatomika 2022-04-08 06:27

It's totally awesome to see you guys made a point and click adventure game for the game jam! Really loved this it has such a nice art style and I found the writing to be really entertaining. Something about a singer in a rock band doing whatever he can to delay the inevitable of the end of their performance felt really nice to see. I'm sure lots of musicians could even relate to. Thank you for making such a neat game!

lamamour 2022-04-08 06:35

I really enjoyed it! Good colors and atmospheres. I had a little trouble at first figuring out what to click on and some items seem to be clickable in multiple places. But nothing serious I really enjoyed the experience. I managed to sing one last song o/

anaxie-studio 2022-04-08 06:43

Very pretty, I love the visuals! The game itself was engaging and I like the puzzle element. I must say some of the choices took me a while to find and Jesse is pretty well-hidden behind that drum, but overall I liked it! High quality entry! Music and writing are nice too. More branches would be cool!

rowlna 2022-04-08 06:56

I really liked this game's style and I liked that you added hints to help a little bit! Accessibility is a plus (it was a little hard to tell what things i could click with the drummer because the options were close together) great job and it felt nice at the end!!

lintfordpickle 2022-04-08 06:57

that gave out some good vibes - both the music and the visuals were great, and it was a nice use of the theme. The audio was particularly good, but I see you guys opted out of that rating?

owca 2022-04-08 07:08

Great stuff! I loved the art style, humor and of course the music!

noskro 2022-04-08 07:49

Yeah! Amazing game. I guess if you look at everything individually it is pretty simple (some animations, but in the end mostly a few static sprites, cool music in a loop, and the "just" story driven adventure)... but combining them it just works and is amazing! I usually prefer short jam games because there usually is just no time for long games. But here I was sad when I finished it :(

hadesfury 2022-04-08 10:06

@adamk33n3r sadly we did not... we planned to, we did want to do fancy music loop to change the it through the game, but 72h are so short :(

cobgoblin 2022-04-08 14:55

Very fun take, looks and sounds incredible!

byazzle 2022-04-10 05:43

Rad game! Awesome art work, cool adventure game vibes and that music was really sweet. Awesome job on this one - loved it!

hatmajaster 2022-04-10 07:48

Great graphics, and awesome idea:P The only thing that I would've add is like jumping or whatever to interact with music:P But its probably hard if You don't work on music in-game... anyway, really good adventure game, and the only one I know right now with a proper ending;)

morricore 2022-04-10 16:43

Interesting take. Just not feels like a game. Great work!

angiemon 2022-04-11 17:01

yeaaahhh!! \m/

Hehe. I loved this!! This makes me miss live concerts sooo much :(

I think this is a great point and click game (to the gentleman or lady above: Some might say making snarky comments doesn't equal sword duelling, and here we are.. in a world were IT IS! :P)

I really liked the graphics, so unique, great drawings, great idea and trying to figure out what to do was fun :)

A nice entry! Also liked that you added the help option.

Well done guys!

dalep 2022-04-13 00:50

The loading progress bar stalls around 90% in Safari, with the following error: ``` [Error] Unhandled Promise Rejection: RangeError: Maximum call stack size exceeded. (anonymous function) (WebGL.loader.js:1:5865) promiseReactionJob ```

Worked fine in Firefox, except the Hint button seemed like it just turned on some kind of debug mode where it printed the function names by each option.

The art style is amazing and I liked how the puzzles were just the right amount of obtuse to be hilarious and call back to classic adventure games while still making sense to me as a player.

hadesfury 2022-04-13 08:13

@dalep Yeah, hint mode is a kind of debug mode, we hoped it can help when you are locked ;)

ntimi 2022-04-18 11:41

I really liked your interpretation of the theme! Only being able to use your feet or mouth for the actions was a great idea. The art and music fit together really well, you totally managed to capture the mood of the concert spotlight.
