That was really fun. I enjoyed the humour a lot and when I did the final upgrade, the concequences of it got me did catch me offguard. Very good game.

The concept is great but the locations to interact with the items weren't super obvious and I unfortunately couldn't deliver orders.
I feel this game. Eventually AI will take over the world right?? Hit's pretty close to home. The dialog totally made me laugh out loud. And the graphics are so cute, and go well with the light-hearted feel of the game. Nice work!
Cute little game. I like how the social commentary was worked into the gameplay with the character slowly becoming a robot as you gain more upgrades. I will say that the game got pretty repetitive very quickly. Definitely could have used some more mechanics to keep it fresh. But overall a solid idea. Nice work!
Great game! The upgrades were an interesting mechanic, was very surprised by some of their effects. The screen did zoom in a lot after I bought a bunch of upgrades at the same time; not sure if that was intended but it was a little disorienting. That said though, I enjoyed the game a lot. Nice work!
@daniel-klautsch Thanks for playing! If you wish to know the entire conversation script, please see the new link I provided below!
@matt-rice Thanks for playing! The interact locations are designed on their vertical axis. I should have drawn a HUD to highlight the positions, my bad!
@caramelcode Thanks for playing! This is our first try in a game jam. Glad that you like it! The conversation script was actually longer than what the game actually shown (all due to stupid bug!). If you wish to see, I have a google doc containing all of it. https://docs.google.com/document/d/1F07Fl__T4Jk7P5PcxsjpCH6ZPw-PueVkWS5V0MhLx9Q/edit?usp=sharing
@superpokeunicorn Thanks for playing! Yes, the game does get repetitive after a while. It was designed to be a roughly ~6 minutes gameplay, with different daily/upgrading conversation sentences. A second counter would appear with 2 other drinks (total of 5 types). Sadly the time were not enough to fix the bug for everything to go correct, I'm planning on fixing it after the rating period is over. If you wish to see the full conversation script, here's the link: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1F07Fl__T4Jk7P5PcxsjpCH6ZPw-PueVkWS5V0MhLx9Q/edit?usp=sharing
@ming-zhu Thanks for playing! The final (after 4 upgrades) zoom-in was intended. Well, it was designed that only one upgrade can be bought a day but I suppose the constrain was buggy. 谢谢你喜欢!
A really solid entry (especially since I see it's your first)! Things that worked well: - The narrative. It was a fun little plot and some humorous writing as well as a good little twisty take on the theme! - The art was cute and effective
Things that could be improved: - The visual/UI feedback on collecting drinks. It sorta felt like the hitboxes missed sometimes. If something lit up, it'd make it more obvious where the hitzones were - The controls all being on one hand makes for a tricky layout (You supported arrows keys which was good though)
All in all, a great jam entry. Bravo!
I liked the story, the dialogue and the game. The dialogue is particularly fun!
My only problem with this game is that i found very difficult to do the things right when I have to use the E,Q,F keys. Probably having more time when a new ability is needed will help the user to learn how to proceed.
"You have delivered 14 cups of dirnk!"
Great game! The starting scene seemed to be on a different level of polish than the rest of the game. The dialogue after could of used a little more pizzaz for how much text there was IMO. It also felt like I couldn't buy that faster movement for a few rounds, then all of a sudden could buy everything? The game itself eventually being taken over by AI was a great touch.
Unfortunately, the game bugged out in a bunch of different ways for me so I don't think I really got the intended experience. Repeating dialogue, customers stopping and never showing up, customers leaving before I could physically make a drink for them... Even before that, I really ended up feeling like I should just write a bot to play the game more efficiently than I could, and then I made my character into a bot that just delivers the same drink eternally. Still better than some irl jobs.
Good fun. Surprising amount of depth considering the gameplay cycle. Music may be a tad repetitive but still good for the time of the jam.
Very fun. I liked all the jokes :)
