LD50 — Delay the inevitable

How it Ended by dxk2294 2022-04-05T05:32:27Z

This game was really cool to play! The design and UI were good, and I enjoyed the dialogue for events & the resource collection aspect of the game. I couldn't figure out how to get the description for each resource to display which was a little confusing, tho I was playing the WebGL version so that may be the reason. Nice work!

Great game! The upgrades were an interesting mechanic, was very surprised by some of their effects. The screen did zoom in a lot after I bought a bunch of upgrades at the same time; not sure if that was intended but it was a little disorienting. That said though, I enjoyed the game a lot. Nice work!

This game gave me goosebumps. It does get a little repetitive that you can only pull the lever at a certain point, but in terms of being thematic, the fact that you can't do anything greatly adds to the psychological horror aspect of it.

@the-neon-shark Thanks for the feedback! Yeah all of your points are valid; we should've spent a little less time on the programming and more on tuning the game. If only we had a bit more time...but time waits for no one ;)

@sprunth Thank you for the comments! I've always doodled stick figures but never thought they'd come in handy. Glad you like it!
