Very cool! The tutorial was great! In the actual game it felt a little too difficult at first though. Still an awesome concept!
Woah professional level man
@halgendy Thank you!
Really interesting take on the theme. I really enjoyed the overall design of the game, and i could see how you could expand on it further. Great job.
Very unusual mechanics. Never played games like this before!
Cool graphics, unusual idea
very complicated, but it looks very good to be done in 2 days, good job!
It's an idea just to have everything there is in a good game
Well done for innovating on something nobody ever thought to innovate! - Just overall very polished on all fronts - audio, visual, design. Very cool! - The people's representation is top notch, no fucking around with individual physics objects, just a series of lights like one of those Game & Watch relics, great design work with this :) - Can't believe you got this control scheme to work with just kb/m. It feels relatively good and still janky enough for it to be challenging to do. - I never got two mice to work - I *actually* have two mice on my computer all the time, so imagine my surprise when I run into a situation where it's suppose to be actually supported! Is there anything specific I have to do to enable support for two mice? - Hope you get to expand on this with more mechanics and interesting things. It could be almost Papers Please like with different characters and stories depending on who lives and who dies. Working in different buildings with different stories.
@tuism Thanks for you review and compliment! The dual mice mode only works in windows build, and you should try to click left buttons on both mice to activate it!
@alxje I am running the windows build, and I'm at the main menu, both mouse can move the single cursor, and I've clicked both left, both right, and every combination of buttons on both mice, and the 2 Mouse option doesn't become available! Wonder what's wrong, hmmm.
Cool game! SCP vibes
Wow! The best game i seen on jams! Allthought not a grat highscore for me, mechanics and gameplay are 100/100 image_2024-10-07_212314045.png
Nice game with the 2D portal feel, good audio, good humor with the spelling, original gameplay !
@tuism Hi, during my play test I have only tried to use two wireless mice, they have worked, so maybe you should see wheater they work or not?
I appreciate the tutorial, super awesome game overall!
Cool mechanics! It showed me that my hand eye coordination cannot handle keyboard and trackpad properly at the same time. Definitely adds to the challenge. Loved the design, too.
Really love the elevator control. It has a aperture science feel both in art and the humor. The monsters definitely added more fun to the game. Overall great work!
An excellent little game! As another comment mentioned, the visuals feel a lot like the Aperture Science lil demos they released for Portal 2 (I don't remember if they also featured in-game?)
The elevator control by way of a rope was novel, and it first felt a bit like QWOP in battling against the control almost as much as the game itself. There were a few design choices that were really nice--the floor indicators by color on the elevator carriage was a nice touch.
Overall, a nicely polished game!
@breadstick Thanks for your compliment!
@alxje I only have one wired and one wireless hooked up, so maybe that's why? Though that's weird that that would make a difference!
@tuism I think it have something to do with the hardware itself, when I try to use a wired mouse in the engine, it crush right from the start, but works excellently well with wired less one.
breadstick basically said everything I felt. I noticed that move the rope left and right also moved the elevator, but I couldn't tell what that actually does for gameplay. At first, I thought it would have some sort of effect on how quickly people could get on/off the elevator, but it didn't seem like it had an impact. Maybe just a cool detail. Either way great game.
Neat! I love the clean yet clear art style, it came together really nice.
The tutorial went fine, but once the game started I lost keyboard control, so I played the run with just the mouse... which ended up being easier.
The monsters add a fun wrinkle to it and really bring the stress of it all together, but I feel like the controls and timings were a bit *too* forgiving. I realize that's a good default to err towards during a jam, but being left wanting for more is always a good sign.
I also wish levels were a bit more clearly defined, I don't know what the end goal was other than I got a score of 22. The tutorial had a nice clear end point, and felt kinda of lemmings-like. I sort of with the game had that kind of progression, but maybe that's a good direction for a post-LD version :)
Nice work!
@atumemot Thanks for your comments and compliments! Moving elevator left to right was intended increase difficulty by asking players to control not only vertically but also horizontally, but during the play test I found this may cause unwanted troubles so I adjusted map so that player won’t have to worry about it.
@fireslash Hi! Thanks for playing my game and leave suggestions for my game, but the game was intended to be score based, the goal is score as much as possible.
I like this kinds of games with alternative control mechanics
This is so much fun! I think the design where some people die when the elevator drops is really interesting. I was frantically trying to play but still couldn’t manage to transport everyone to safety in time. It’s a bit brutal when they get eaten by the monsters, but I actually like that! I also really enjoy the game’s simple art style!
Very interesting game! Double controls was an interesting idea, but I played with mouse only and it was just fine. Loved the art!
amazing idea
It works on two mouse, and fine when play with only one!! i score even higher when only use one hand, lol! ANYWAY, AMAZING game
Maybe it bugged out or maybe i missed something but after the monster in tutorial passengers would not leave the elevator? I really like the idea and trying to master the rope pulling (controller) seems like a nice challenge.
The concept is simple and extremely good :D Just perfect for jam. Not much to add honestly
Really amazing ideas, though very frustrating without two mice. Might have been helped by more responsive keyboard controls, but honestly it kinda adds to the charm that the hands are so difficult to control.
The only thing I can think to criticize is the visual polish - the might've been better suited for a side-on perspective but I do love the little people explosions when you drop the carriage. Amazing work!
Very interesting idea and nice artstyle
@inre-dan Thanks for your criticism! I will find a way to make the left screen look better!
Interesting control scheme and I loved the pressure of the monsters chasing folks into the elevator. I think I did well but I would like a score to be able to compare!
Cool game! I liked it.
i SUCK at this game, but I found it really fun. It felt really immersive when the elevator was at the bottom of the shaft and I had to really TUG at my mouse in real life.
Incredibly unique concept - very creative stuff. I loved the game-and-watch display and how it juxtaposed with the elevator display. AWESOME!!

Very cool concept! Controls were pretty unresponsive at times. With more polish this could be a very fun little mobile game!
Wait, you made two games during this jam?
@imberny HI! Thanks for playing my games and compliments! And yes, this is the solo project finished by my own, and I wrote the AI movement and people and houses generation in 'Burn'em All' !
Quite innovative and immersive controls! Like it! Great work!
Oh my god what a mood straight out the gate WTF
Super unique game and what a cool idea, I am terrible at it but I really enjoyed the double hand mechanic. Are there really people getting 900 points??
Awesome job!
@poboy Thank you for your time and the compliment! I am glad that you enjoyed my game and no, there is no way anyone can get over 60 points in this game I just write a random number on it.😂
Sfx is very satisfying! the dual control is fun at first but gets tiring, so i just go with one hand and doesn't move the other one at all, and it's still fun. i suggest not using time as limit, but setting a goal of delivering how many people and use time as score, because the people is generated over time.
should probably not be playing this on a touchpad
This is a awesome idea! It's very challenging but really rewarding once you get used to it.
The audio is super satisfying, it the sound effects fit the game perfectly and I found it really fun to listen to while I played. I love the music too!
The art also looks really good, the hand sprites and rope are super clean and stylised, which I love. And the 3D section is also really cool, it reminds me of The Lab I think - that Portal spin off.
Overall this is a really cool game and I loved playing it, well done!
The style of the game is quite interesting and reminds me of something from Valve games)) I liked the mechanics and the graphics
Really polished game! I wish I had two mouses (or mice?) to play. Really fun concept and this is the kind of game I like to see in game jams. Congrats!
this is a really cool idea! I don't think I've ever seen a game like this before! kudos to you for such an innovative and fun idea! I will say that I wish I had been abel to try it with the dual mouse or controller schemes but I have only one mouse and no xbox controllers, and the mouse and controller input style is a bit awkward to handle. I can also imagine a game like this working really well on either a form of touchscreen or using vr-style hand tracking controls!
There was definitely some fun tech to figure out like with fully dropping the elevator to speed it to the bottom, which I appreciated.
Great job!
Really unique concept with some challenging and innovative controls! The dual-mouse setup is a cool idea, though I found it difficult to manage with just one mouse. The visuals and sound design are both polished and add a lot to the experience. With some tweaks to the controls and a bit more balance, this could be a really fun and engaging game. Great job overall!
Really inspiring idea! wonderful in all aspects! Congratulation!
Really loved the game, very unique concept and the game was very smooth, move this art design for it. I tested it on keyboard and mouse and it played well but I feel like it is harder on keyboard and mouse than I imagine it would be on controller but overall I love the game and its concept.
innovative mechanics! it was especially nice to play on the laptop touchpad ;)
