Amazing visual and take on theme

konbuscus 2025-10-07 06:37

Really liking the visual, the music and the digging part mini game !

ali-enver-sevgi 2025-10-07 07:00

Placing the items in the right spots and how they shine based on the light is really cute. And digging mechanic good. The gameplay is super fun! Good polished

dxk2294 2025-10-07 07:20

This was a lot of fun! Kinda lost track of time playing.

Few suggestions: - Tooltips should appear fast, atleast in the digging minigame - The custom cursor covers most of the tooltips for your popularity/friendliness/etc... - The event that completely wipes your museum layout isn't really fun, just annoying. Though maybe it serves as a good way to force the user to reconsider their layout?

Regardless, I had a great time. Great job!

It gets a bit repetitive with multiple clicks per day, but it was quite fun! Sold poop for good profit, would do that again. And again :D

yoav-kagan 2025-10-07 07:41

Addicting! I really enjoyed playing for more than I care to admit haha

tamino-laub 2025-10-07 08:10

Very much in love with the visuals, the music, the entire mood.

I sell all the poop and become rich. Yuppee! Nice game ^_^

sharky3188 2025-10-07 08:44

I really like the visual style of this game and the overall mechanics, i did feel quiet confused at times as to what i was meant to do. Maybe a bit more of a tutorial or feedback would help with that. The event popups and digging were a really nice addition to make the game feel more interesting.

marcherin 2025-10-07 09:02

It's quite polished in both artwork and gameplay which makes it addicting! I like how items that belong to the same category have a combo and the digging minigame, it's a familiar concept but the combination and execution makes it solid.

I think for the digging minigame, it'd be better if we have separate time to put our things on bag. But overall great job!

wouter52 2025-10-07 10:42

Damn that artwork is just so beautiful! Somehow it feels so satisfying how it goes from day to night. I feel that 100 days is asking a bit too much from playtesters. Maybe 30 days (a month) would have been better. Now idea how that affects balancing though. The digging site was really fun to do. The first time I did not read the big red text at the bottom so I came home empty handed. I love the events that pop up, even if I cant afford things or if there are no scary items and such. It makes the game feel more alive

Great job on this one!

Absolutely stellar contribution. It feels incredibly polished. Reminds me a lot of the museum in Stardew Valley. It almost felt too easy after day 10. Some notes and ideas for potential improvement:

- Maybe it was a bug, but after day 20 or so I was no longer invited to go on expeditions - A lot of the decisions feel meaningless, as I do not see e.g. if my security system has improved, or whether my bribe worked - I did not find a way to deal with any trash I found. So it just accumulated and I got fined for it.

Art style, music, execution are all on a very high level. I can see this going places :)

rise12600 2025-10-07 12:32

realy fun theme, enjoyed the game, and the art was great. could have used a few more alert moments as kids destroying my museum over and over again got a little repetitive overall, lots of fun, moral of the game, ban children from museums or they'll eat the dinosaur bones and knock over your priceless vases

anstabo 2025-10-07 14:10

Another one of your 5/5 game, really in-depth management game with very clear graphics and descriptions, like others pointed out I hated the event of items going back to the stash and I would have loved to have the tooltip show instantly rather than waiting a full second each time to read what the family the item belongs to, I also kept forgetting about getting the items before the timer runs out during expeditions, which to be honest was very counter intuitive even though it's written clearly that you must get the items before the timer runs out.

recursor 2025-10-07 18:55

Well apparently I really enjoyed it, because I played through the whole thing. I did not like it when all my artifacts returned to my inventory and i had to replace them, especially once I had enough to fill all the display spaces. That was not fun, but the game loop was so enticing that I just kept going. This is such a well-polished and really fun little experience. I spent more time with this one than anything else I've played thus far. Really top-notch work! Screenshot 2025-10-07 145213.png

What a great entry! I really love the take on the theme and the relaxing but still realtively deep gameplay. It is very impressive what you managed to add in this short frame of time. The only thing I am missing a bit are volume controls, but that is very much an extra for a game jam

purrseus 2025-10-07 19:51

Lovely mood, great idea and execution and actually insanely funny and engaging for, mechanically speaking, "just" an inventory managament system. I'm a big fan!

pro4 2025-10-07 19:58

Really great pixel art and a fun museum management workflow bouncing back and forth between the museum and digging. The game was so tough tho! I feel like there was something I was doing wrong because I always lost after 20-25ish days.

Very nice execution on the game concept and really well suited for the Collector theme.

bea 2025-10-07 20:33

I liked the art a lot! I think it could have been a bit shorter, but it kept me locked in the whole time.

raysplaceinspace 2025-10-07 21:24

This is a great fascinating game and I played it for quite a while. I am not sure if I figured out how to be successful, I think I was at -$2000 by the time I stopped. I figured the negative popularity items were a bad thing so I put them all away and in the end I just had one item out and 10 items away. I wanted to sell the bad items but it seemed that I just had to wait for a wealthy buyer to do that. Dig sites are very clever.

One of my first impressions was there was a lot of red negative numbers on the screen every turn. It felt like it was telling me I was doing something bad so I put the items away and I don't think that was what I was meant to do, so I eventually put them back out again. If it is just a general rule that every item degrades then I think I don't need to see that unless it is an exceptional event.

tentacos 2025-10-08 09:21

Absolutely love this game! First days were rough, but then i figured out to group items)

phobos 2025-10-09 14:33

Real chill and cosy game, love the art style and the sound, one of the best and most polished game of the jam.

cataclysmicknight 2025-10-09 18:08

This is such a silly little game, and I LOVE the theme. I'm a huge fan of building collections, finding "treasure," and then making a profit from it all.

I did struggle, though, with how quick the digging sections are and how to put items together. It was also rough starting negative with money and earning so little each day, to where it took forget to get into the positive and start being able to buy artifacts or pay for things.

I'd love to see where this goes in the future, though!

mamboman 2025-10-09 20:45

The overall vibe is very nice! I love the graphics.

lesdremlet 2025-10-10 17:12

Such a cool game idea! It's really addictive, and I'd love to go on expeditions more often! : ) What I enjoyed the most was the atmosphere of the night museum; it really added a sense of awe. The visuals are great, and the music fits the mood perfectly.

pimeko 2025-10-11 16:32

The mood and visuals are really beautiful, super cozy. Interesting take on the theme to collect items on expeditions and display them in a museum, also liked the variety of inner gameplay (sellers, etc) :)

sibi 2025-10-11 22:33

Broke Custodian.png That was a nice relaxing experience and nicely broken up with the digging minigame. Love the art especially, all very consistent and impressive variety of items. But damn those school kids! *angryfist*

b0guslaw 2025-10-12 11:04

Beautifully done, nice take on the theme and while not intended your game works on Android in the browser, which was super convenient for playing it on the go. Love what you did there!

As much as I'd like to give feedback about this, I really have no idea what was happening in this game lol. Keep in mind that these sorts of games aren't really my cup of tea, so take everything I say with a grain of salt.

At some point, I managed a setup where the starts were all green, but again, I still have no clue why the items when placed the way I placed them gave me those green stats. Is it that a section should only have items which are of the same type ? If that's the case, then why were certain stones not working with the other fossils ?

I think a little more clarity about some of the items would've helped a lot. I also agree with the others above me in that some of the events like the one's where the kids threw everything in storage were definitely more annoying than anything else. I'm not really a fan of how the digging minigame is structured. Having the entire thing be based on how fast you can click was a little annoying ( for me anyway. Like I said before, maybe take everything I said with a grain of salt )

That said though, the humour was on-point ( " Just pretend it's an extinct species of bird " lol ). The art in general was top-class as well. I know my thoughts about this game might sound like they're negative, but that doesn't take away from the fact that I think this game is still pretty damn cool for what you guys set out to do.

Great job on this y'all

hexstart 2025-10-13 23:50

I was really vibing with this game. The artstyle and music+sound really made it a pleasant time. I also enjoyed fitting the item categories into different tables, and the little flavor text on the items themselves. The kids event was a bit annoying near the end, but in mid-game actually pushed me to rethink me setup, and I was better off as a result

I didn't really give that much thought to item stats beyond value. All I was doing was essentially just grouping categories of highest-value items together, which seemed to make stats increase over time. So I feel like something could be simplified there for a more focused experience. I think it'd also be helpful to display the value of items at all times, or have a togglable overlay that displays it. And/or remove appear delay on tooltips.

Anyway, the game definitely stands out as polished entry, congrats on making it happen ^^

le-don 2025-10-14 11:52

What an amazing game! I just felt it went on for too long, especially as it seems as it seems there is only one event per day and otherwise nothing happening at all the different time of the days. It also seemed like the stats like friendliness or security are not really doing anything, as I had negative friendliness and my security was over 100%. More transpancy might be great in that regard or having "failed" events like "A kid tried to break something, but your security was too high."

bloodbane 2025-10-16 09:36

I can see the idea here but with lack of info on how to properly place objects, it's hard to play the game properly. Also I thought I could get more artifacts so often but turns out the event is rare. So I spent my days just clicking continue without knowing why I keep losing value of my objects. It would be nicer if there were hints on how to place objects and more events to get artifacts to fit the theme.

[Thanks for submitting your game to stream!](https://www.twitch.tv/videos/2589159756?t=02h42m34s)

Sorry I was running low on energy by the end of this one  I actually think this concept is super neat! I'll probably be coming back to it in the future.
