The jumping doesn't work sometimes making it a little bit frustrating. The concept and the art look very nice tho :)

Love so much the "Burton" ambiance :D
Love the ambiance you made here, you should make a full game of this concept
Awesome graphics, music (when it worked) was awesome (when I entered second level all was muted), walking on the walls was fun however the jumping was a bit weird and sometimes did not work. all in all good effort!
Wow ! game art is really advanced on this entry. That's a prety nice plaformer and I loved the atmosphere. Keep up the good work. PS: Jump didn't work sometimes. Couldn't find the exact reason.
Very good looking game! The movement felt a bit awkward at times. I would've liked some extra lives or smoother control because always starting over felt really frustrating.
I passed the third chapter by climbing over it, but then again, since you left that option maybe it was intentional
Wow Thank you for these commentaries, we appreciate these so much :) And we are sorry for the jump and other bugs, for most of all it was our first game on Unity, next will be better :p
it's really hard to get to the end, I got to the last level but didn't manage to finish it..
I like the 3D yet 2D platformer approach!
The visuals are creepy and interesting, very good job on the 3D modeling! I like all the random stuff in the background. the game looks really good and the wall climbing makes it interesting.
Really good game guys ! this gameplay are really cool and fun !
Controls are very sensitive sometimes, but can get used to it. I quickly found a place I couldn't jump, haha. On the bright side, I really like this creepy style (ex-tim-burton-fan here). I believe that from this you can make a good full game.
I am stuck D: The only thing I can do is move to the right, no turning, no going back, no jumping. And when I keep going to the right I keep falling in a pit and dying. Not sure if it was designed like this or if I am being stupid.
@hcursino something is wrong indeed, we didn't designed it this way, the game has many issues, we are very sorry that you couldn't enjoy it...
@bredera Wait, what? There was music? I didn't hear anything... :/
I liked the aestethics a lot. Also the idea of being able to walk on walls was pretty cool.
But the controls are really unreliable. Jumping workes only like 60% of the time. Also the pause menu didn't work on the second and third level. I had to kill the exe myself.
Cool game! One of the more unique concepts this jam. I agree that the jumping is a bit unreliable.
I did not really understand the controls, I could only move in one direction and could not quite figure out what I was supposed to do. There are some issues with regards to running in full screen on a high resolution screen as the menu is middle with the default unity screen in the background.menu.jpg The same applies to the game, but otherwise the art looks good!
The graphics are great and the atmosphere is awesome. A bit hard sometimes, but nice to play. Gameplay is fun and the character is so cute :D
Woahhh, the art is fantastic! An excellently creepy game you've put together. Great work!
Graphics chic and atmospheric. Beautiful game design. It is a pity that the sound was lost after loading a new scene. But in General, the game turned out. Good job.
Wow, this is really ambitious for a weekend. Great art style, great colors. I liked being able to stick to the walls. For some reason the jump was really hard to use - half the time nothing happened, which made me die a lot. Overall, though, great work!
The tim burton graphics are amazing :D I also like the idea of sticking to the wall, but sadly i couldn't get over the first obstacle :(
Nice graphical style. Good atmosphere. Unfortunately the controls are poor. The jump is wildly inconsistent, often not happening at all and even launching me out of the level one time. Also sometimes I latch onto a wall, sometimes just fall down. It felt quite inconsistent and frustrating to play. Did eventually get to the end though. Interestingly after that time I fell out of the world, when I restarted I had 3 chocolate pieces from the beginning. The text stays on screen a bit too long obscuring the level. Maybe hide it once the player has moved a certain distance. The music also starts muted for some reason, and doesn't play for very long.
Great graphics, I like the mood it sets, but as others have noted; the controls really do feel bad. I'd be interest in an updated version where some of these mentioned issues are fixed, like the jumping and falling through the floors.
Halloween Jam game in October? Themed or not, I'll play it!
The best part about this entry is graphics. They set the mood well and have good variety to them. It feels wasteful at times how the level structure and mechanics results in me not getting a good look at these - in particular in the last level, when I drop myself into the oven and I instantly get to game completed screen, without even properly seeing what the oven is like.
The no-so-best part is the gameplay. The mechanics combining wall-crawling and jumping are pretty unique and provide some interesting challenges, but sometimes they feel off, in particular when the main character sometimes does a super-high jump. Maybe that jump was intended at certain spots (I realised that jump allows me to Mario-skip most of level 3) but it feels more like a bug.
Also, the levels could use more checkpoints, especially level 3. Playing the same section over and over again because of a mistake near the end is quite painful, especially if it was caused by wafflespikes lurking in the dark. Another part I didn't like was the tight passage in the level 4 you had to jump into - the cookie kept bouncing off the ceiling.
Overall, a great-looking platformer with neat platforming idea, but could be improved in terms of mechanics execution and level design.
