Hahaha! On my first play I didn't read the instructions and just build a nice dungeon hoping I would get to play it. I didn't :(

Still It's the best Tetris like dungeon builder I played today!

Great idea on this game !!! Had a lot of fun to play it and including the high scores is a smart idea, made me want to figure in it :D

I just don't understood what treasures were here for ? Just more points ?

Really good job ! Congratulations !

I kept playing until I got #1 on the leader board. Really requires you to plan and think. Great compo entry, one the of the funnest so far. Also, the music has a nice groove to it.

Post-compo you should consider adding ways for the player to affect the map; or even putting some time pressure on the player.

Very good, and really fun. Very good entry :) Art is awesome.
Could be nice to have some special actions when a line is completed with some items/monsters!

bensonance 2016-12-14 14:57

Love the music and the art. The game idea is cute and fun!

I think it might have been a good idea to start the map small, and then increase the width over time. Took me quite a while to get a combination when I first started :)

Got 7980 points! :) Pretty fun game and well polished. Good job on this entry.

zarkonnen 2016-12-14 17:59

Works well, though I have to say I just ignored the whole dungeon sim thing and played the placement puzzle.

geckoo1337 2016-12-14 22:18

A solid game for a great entry. Bravo ++

Pretty cool idea and slick presentation! I had a problem where I couldn't see the leftmost row so I didn't clear any horizontal lines at all, then halfway through the game I cleared a vertical row and I was like OH IT DOES WORK.

What does the chest thing do
What do big white blocks do
I think you need more in-game help/tutorial/assistance
Maybe have a proper border so the player can be sure where things end. I couldn't know.
I didn't know I wanted heroes to win. If I am building a dungeon it's a pretty good assumption to make that I'm on the side of the monsters.

Great idea and cool implementation :)

Great idea ! It's fun and very innovative.

wowa_u 2016-12-15 23:23

Great puzzle game! Can't stop playing it!

lesbroufe 2016-12-16 14:18

Very good game ! My fav so far. Simple mechanic with good replay value. I can see nice additions if you choose to work on it after the compo.

ellian 2016-12-16 23:33

Wow, made it in the leaderboard!
I really like this idea. I feel like the characters should do/move a lot more, because most of the time I'd destroy lines before they do anything... but the concept is great.
Congrats! It's a great thing. :)

thecrancher 2016-12-17 10:54

hey there, the graphics were perfect for this idea, this was really fun to play, i really wanted to keep playing to beat my high score, good job!

jacobturn 2016-12-17 14:59

it was confusing but fun!

i didn't understand how to win though.

seththefirst 2016-12-17 20:03

LIked the idea... very clever.
Takes some time to understand the whole rules.
Would be nice to have an explanation in game.

congratz

seano 2016-12-17 20:12

Lots of fun, would have kept playing to get a high score. It could be more obvious that lining up a row removes it but that's just a small issue, really great overall.

peredm 2016-12-17 20:36

The art, sound and music are great! The idea is good and original despite being a bit like tetris.

almightytuna 2016-12-17 23:52

Very novel concept. Would have liked the combat to be more meaningful, rather than just being for high-score

pierrec 2016-12-19 15:56

woah
I didn't really get it at first, but once I did, I got completely hooked. I think I spent about 2 hours on this! The dungeon setting is a nice addition although it's pretty useless. Maybe you could reinforce this part a bit, or drop it completely to get something more abstract.

phocker 2016-12-19 19:35

link does not appear to be working?

junber 2016-12-26 21:16

i never saw something like this not even something similar in ld37, building the room instead of playing it it i love it its awesome, and the cute littel heros fighting the monsters is just fun to watch while helping them building their terrain.

darkavenger211 2016-12-27 01:36

Good effort, but could use more 360 noscopes and sick memes. Also this is just me but have you considered a tutorial screen at the start to explain the goal? Thought I was playing dungeon tetris.

guckstift 2016-12-27 17:42

Good idea, really addictive. I also like the swarming aspect. Also really cool that you used divs for game graphics :D
