While I like the core mechanic the theming makes it a bit confusing at the beginning, as it's not super easy to understand why ships are sinking. After having got that though it's a nifty little puzzle game.

Really cute puzzle game. I'd love to see this worked on further and turned into a mobile game or something.

Very nice idea, and fun game ! GG !

game design and mechanics were great and made the game fun, good job

qaterknan 2015-08-25 02:18

The mechanic itself is solid. I would like to see more challenging puzzles.

"Yeah okay I don't see the... oh you can... OH WELP"
This game is fantastic. Didn't expect the gameplay to step up that much, it's awesome.
Incredible work :D

very niiiceee

Really nice job of teaching the mechanics!

jaywoody 2015-08-25 12:31

Solid game but the mechanic or 'the reason behind the mechanic' could use some fine tuning.

REally liked the music and the overall feel. The puzzles were also nice after you got use to the mechanic.

Nice!

lovely one

Enjoyable puzzle game.

walaber 2015-08-26 04:35

great progression of discovery to the different mechanics, and the puzzle design (and sequencing) is spot-on! left me wanting more!

bocodillo 2015-08-26 16:10

Good difficulty once I understood how sinking ships worked. The undo button was invaluable. Loved the humour and music too. Good job!

Great game, very well designed puzzles. Well done.

9-ar7k 2015-08-26 17:46

great puzzles!

mathstr0 2015-08-26 21:46

I run into a spot where the ship turns into wrecks and you have to restart the level, and I never really figured out why.

s_jmp 2015-08-26 22:52

very engaging game, I always wonder how are these box moving games maps generated? do you write an algorithm to generate them or you think it out??

crunchykingcrimson 2015-08-26 22:54

Great puzzler. It took me a few minutes to figure out the rules but I got there and I had fun until the end. It all progresses nicely and you did a good job of coming up with different puzzles utilizing the simple mechanics. I would have easily kept going if there were more levels.

connors 2015-08-26 23:14

This is your first game? That's pretty damn cool. I always enjoy learning the mechanics of puzzles like this, and you could absolutely make more levels for it. Well done.

Wonderful puzzles with a fun presentation. Great game!

mitkus 2015-09-01 07:15

Solid idea. Maybe a bit easy overall, but that's just my taste.

shaunlebron 2015-09-05 14:25

cool mechanics and nice level progression. i love puzzlescript games like this

beavlgames 2015-09-05 22:42

Puzzlescript fans here (we've made a bunch of games with it). Love this little game. Congrats on the level design, audio and set of rules. Cheers!

Nice! Very cute Kraken. I found this quite satisfying. I was always able to think about the levels and make a plan in my head, and I never felt like I was just using a guess-and-check approach.

Once note is that sometimes there was too much traversal. You probably designed the level wanting the islands to look like islands, but the result is that sometimes I have to move a lot in order to navigate to a ship. If the islands had been just one or two tiles each, rather than having rather large islands, I bet you could have made all the same levels solvable in less moves. Not a big deal, but since jogging back and forth is not really part of your puzzle, why include lots of jogging back and forth, right? ^o^//

Solid mechanics, pretty cute graphics, nice music. Though it would be nice if it looped properly and there werent any of those awkward silent moments. Could use some more challenging levels though.
