10/10

Sorry but not installing a game for a 5 minute run, too much hassle to uninstall it later

mighty-buxx 2016-12-13 20:59

Art is nice, gameplay a bit cumbersome but addictive, would get an Android version)

stupidmindlessf 2016-12-15 08:05

Nice art and interesting idea. The typing under time pressure could be fun, but feels too restrictive, I would have preferred to being able to type in something wrong.
Closing the game and forcing me to reopen it after every game over is very annoying.
The audio is quite good and underlines the pressure you are aiming for.

guoboism 2016-12-15 08:44

Never submit a installer for jam game, please.

serious-table 2016-12-15 09:20

The typing-under-pressure aspect of the game gave it a surprising intensity, and was a nice off-set to the slower movement. Overall between the visuals and the mechanics, I thought it was well done! Could be improved by tightening up the movement as well as collision detection between some of the desks and the like.

qbicfeet 2016-12-15 10:04

I like it, the hacking mechanics gave me Typing of the Dead-vibes. The audio fits the tension and theme of the game.

redbutton 2016-12-15 10:52

Gameplay could be a bit quicker in total (moving the char and enemy seeking you perhaps). BG music is nice and fitting the scenario.
I like the "Type gaming" approach. Could be some kind of learning game, perhaps if you take a secret agent instead of a robot? I still think I must not make a mistake while typing this or otherwise this post crashes :-D

stylo21 2016-12-15 11:00

Art is very nice!
Maybe, a little confusing to play.

I played with the Non-Installer version, and it crash after 4-5 minutes.

But afterall, good job :D

andybrown 2016-12-15 11:35

That was a fun concept. I enjoyed the function names in the typing minigame. A bit easy and over quickly, but it left me wanting more which is a good thing. Nice job!

cyberambient 2016-12-15 12:42

I downloaded the Source version and rode the game maker, but the game stops when I lose the hack with the enemy. The idea is great and the code is well organized, congratulations!

fuad 2016-12-15 17:12

Interesting idea but game always stuck at command "x=get_loc...", I can't type "=" and after that no other symbols appears.

2016-12-15 19:36

Mr Fuad, you have to type the space characters as well

rodobodolfo 2016-12-16 02:31

The minigame was awesome, nice sounds! the bot movement was to slow for me.
Great visuals, solid entry!

endingchaos 2016-12-16 03:58

Haha I couldnt stop laughing the entire time! Humor+++++! Great game too!

afinkyu_pheaky 2016-12-16 04:09

Pretty good game. I liked the hacking segments (after I figured out what I was doing). Left me wanting to play more to show off my imaginary l337 hax0r skillz.

hugostudica 2016-12-16 12:52

I liked the game, the hacking system is good (similiar to "Welcome to the game" game). I think the items should be "hidden", the ration could be in the refrigerator, not in the ground for example. I think this ideia could fit better in the theme, but its ok. Congratulations!

quetzakol 2016-12-17 09:40

Nice graphics and music, with a concept that seemed quite complex when read the huge description but is actually really basic. I think it would have been nice to find something more fun than just "type this text". But overall, well done.

louspirit 2016-12-19 21:10

Beautiful mood with the colors and textures. I appreciate more the writing exercice and less the movement 'case by case'. Nice music too.

phocker 2016-12-19 21:27

little slow paced. music was good and graphics were great. I like the hacking mechanic. not sure of theme.

gabriellpweb 2016-12-19 23:44

Nice concept and good graphics, i like this hacking model, must put some puzzles maybe will improve fun.

rockhoppergames 2016-12-20 12:40

The audio was nice, but the movement was a bit too slow, and the collision was a bit of a pain. It also took me a while to realise I had to visit each of the rooms to fill my checklist, I thought that was just the list for the room.

btwj_ 2016-12-23 08:19

Graphics were quite nice. A bit short, but I enjoyed it. Maybe use a monospace font for the typing part? Or make the spaces clearer. One other feature you could consider would be adding a puzzle aspect to this game rather than just have it about typing. Good job :)

pixelpotions 2016-12-23 11:47

Amazing how the typing-under-pressure is the cherry on the top, I love how minigames can complete an experience on some kind of games.
Really enjoyed the idea, humor is good, I just missed some more exploration to find the objects in the room, would extend the gameplay a bit.
Congratulations.

japes 2016-12-24 12:12

Nice idea, cute graphics, good sound. Hacking minigame was a cool idea!
Whole thing was just a bit short and I would do away with the auto-exit. Also maybe the movement could be a bit quicker.

nick-bota 2016-12-24 13:06

Good game! The art is great, the sound as well, hacking mini-game is pretty cool but I did hit some situations where I couldn't type the correct characters and failed because of it, I think it was "scan(x);". The controls are not very sharp think about tightening them up a bit. Great job overall!

noobdude29 2016-12-25 15:26

I like the artstyle , the gameplay is interesting, overall its an interesting ideea.

ellian 2016-12-25 21:00

This is a pretty cute game! The concept is neat, I wish the hacking felt a bit more tense, but it definitively works.
Cool thing, congrats!
(also just so you know, you can export in GM:S a single .exe file, you don't have to do an installer or a full folder; just change the type of file in the export box!)

eruiz00 2016-12-26 12:43

Good jam entry, liked it. Well done!

radmars 2016-12-26 22:35

Cool concept, but the controls are a bit awkward - it seems to be moving on a grid, which doesn't feel a good as moving freely. I liked the typing bit but the hacking screen would come up really quickly and unexpectedly, so as I was holding down the arrow key to continue moving, suddenly that arrow key input would register as a wrong typed character. Some sort of transition screen here might help.

minato4th 2016-12-27 11:23

Good art, but I think that prayer should be more free to go, not by squares by game map..

somnium 2016-12-30 09:00

An interesting concept!

The game was enjoyable, if a bit short. I liked the hacking mini-game - it felt urgent, but with a time limit high enough that is was not frustrating.

I think that the grid-movement might feel a bit less restrictive if the graphics "supported" the grid, i.e. by having the furniture align more closely with the movement grid, and maybe even having a subtle "tile-border" effect in the floor graphics.

Both the art and the music worked great with the concept!
