Cute art style, well-polished game. Love it.

P.S. I recognize Latvian nickname. :) Greetings, I'm from Latvia, too.

This is a wonderful game!
Graphics are cool, and the all this little workers is really fun.
Maybe it's not a big innovation but we don't see a lot of this type of game in LD.
Bravo.

Very nice game !

I loved played it !

The only negative aspect is that in the end the god got angry quite easily

terracottafrog 2016-04-18 16:34

Love the visual style, but the gameplay is a little bit too slow. The theme is also not very well implemented.

swamppenguins 2016-04-18 16:45

Adorable to the max!

lightsoda 2016-04-18 18:18

Quite enjoyable. Nice graphics and audio. The text could've been a little easier on the eyes though, my only problem.

tsfreddie 2016-04-18 20:15

This would be so well if you make it in time for compo. Loved it.

cute little farming game - the gods get angry very fast

balbinoaylagas 2016-04-19 05:11

Your game was really interesting, i loved the graphics and reminded me of simcity which i loved. the smoothness of the controls is cool, but its a little slow. overall its a awesome work! congrats!

spud 2016-04-19 08:49

Gods got angry at me, I build statue to the gods, gods send down giant chicken to destroy my statue, I can't appease the gods.

Absolutely love the idea of this game, wish there was more to do in it though.

tanis 2016-04-19 19:08

My god is way too angry and way too much! :)

Nicely polished, neat graphics, definitely enjoyed playing it.

Fonts could be better as they're damn hard to read.

gurkenlabs 2016-04-20 09:11

Loved this entry very much :) Would be cool if you could snap back the camera to the town center

Awesome game Nauris! I enjoyed playing it, cute artstyle and fun gameplay.

nesferjo 2016-04-20 18:59

Cute game! Perfect graphics. Not sure where the shapeshifting is though. Anyway, I always like to play this kind of games in LD, and this is a good entry overall :)

Hi, nice game ! We're realizing a video with several games of the Ludum Dare #35.
Can you add your game on indiexpo.net ? (it's free)
So we can include also your game in the video ;)
p.s. write #LDJAM in the game's description

paquinn 2016-04-30 20:48

One of the most finished games I've played, even if there were still things you wanted to add.

rock-eaters 2016-05-01 20:53

really nice game but i ve problems with the scrolling :(

ellian 2016-05-04 18:36

Doesn't really feel in the theme, but man, this was cool!
Won the game, I really had fun playing it. The angry god bringing balance was nice and made the game just hard enough so you always had to keep an eye on him. Kudos!

ryannielson 2016-05-08 04:28

Neat idea, even though I found that the gods get angry quite easily. They got so angry that they destroyed my statue. Great art and sound, even if the music got a bit repetitive. Nice work!

tselmek 2016-05-08 11:35

Really fun little game, really polished and lovely pixelart. It felt weird that some of the GUI would go over the God Anger bar and in general I think there could be improvements with the camera, I don't know how a zoom would work. But I'm just nitpicking, the game is really good.

knason 2016-05-08 18:47

This is really great, well done!

benjamin-soule 2016-05-08 21:56

addictive. I understood how to sacrifice ressources on third try only. beforethat I was just building thestatue expecting it to auto-refill my god jauge. I think the game coudlbe more tactical if god ask for only 2 ressources and swap their needs when you fulfil them.

lkr 2016-05-09 19:12

That was a lot of fun :)
It was hard at first, but once I figured out the sacrifice mechanic and stabilized my resources, reaching the needed resources for the large statue was easy enough.
Would love to see more made out of the game concept!
