Loved your game! The talk mechanic is pretty fun. Just found a few issues that is if you have to pick on your allies if there are no actions left, and that if you click in the middle of actions you sometimes get an extra turn.
Nice idea, but getting back to bed every day is a chore, the blocks on the background can get a little confusing, some of the platforming is unnecesserally long and convoluted especially on the earlier levels. Was interested in the story but couldn't be bothered to finish it.
This is definitively one of my favorites submissions so far. Loved the idea, the atmosphere and the art was really cute.
I got stuck in a bug tho, I think. I managed to solve the dancers puzzle, got the dress, but it didn't trigger any different dialogue or event with the doll. Then I tried do go through the dancers puzzle once more, but that made me get stuck in the black screen below the room.
I don't know it that was a bug or if I just didn't understand what I was supposed to do, but I'll check the game again later to reach the end.
While the idea was very interesting, I think there are some problems to be addressed.
The most important thing to change is to let the player click the text to advance. In all of the text boxes the text was cut before I could finish reading it. You could also break it down more to make it better to read.
walking is a bit clunky, I'd suggest making it possible to walk bringing the mouse to the corner of the screen.
But overall, I liked how you guys used the One Room Theme, and the audio was very nice.
I loved this game! Simple mechanics, gorgeous graphics and it ended up really polished. Had lots of fun with it, tho didn't manage to get to the ending yet.
Also noticed you guys made it in Game Maker Studio. Was hoping to get the source code to study it, then I saw it was a Jam entry haha

Very interesting concept. But the Reset button not working is a bit of a hassle.
