Its Adventure by recursor 2020-04-23T18:28:18Z
Creative idea! I often ended up mounting on a word and slowly moving the mouse toward the exit. I also get to the ending of a room and nothing happens... Was that the end?

I enjoyed searching frantically for logs and then returning to the fire as soon as possible - I think the core gameplay is fun. Seemed like there weren't enough logs or the fire died down too fast, however
Excellent art style and very topical subject. Very nice!
Wow, this is definitely my favorite one so far! It's incredibly well made and complete, and I enjoyed it immensely (I'm a bit of a fan of these types of games). Thank you so much for creating this game :D
It's nothing really innovative or new, but extremely well put together and polished. The level generation is impressive - before reading the description again I was sure they were be hand-coded
After reading the little poem and upon entering the game I really felt for a while like I was entering a norse myth - very short but what's there, I loved!
Reached 60! Definitely became easier when I discovered that the guys at the top always miss their shot ahah Cool little game!
Woah, I had a good time in a party! That feels... odd XD Seriously, cool game!
Simple yet incredibly tense, I liked it!
Very moody and relaxing game! I liked everything about it, good entry
I like the object placement mechanic, it's a bit frustrating having to restart from the beginning each time but I had fun playing, so good job
Very nice graphics and "setting". Drags a bit, but other than that it was pretty enjoyable!
Cool game, very "mobile"-y feel. One thing though - the sun sound effect is EXACTLY identical to the level up sound of a game called Counterhero, by Qrostar. Maybe it's just a coincidence, but if you used a sound asset or something you've not created yourself, as I understand it you should point that out somewhere. No big deal of course, overall good job!
I didn't think it was possible to make something like this in 3 days. This is incredible - from the graphics to the music, from the gameplay to the overall mood. It's amazing how you balanced storytelling and gameplay, both are superb and beautifully intertwined. An outstanding game - congratulations to all of you!
(I'm also impressed by the capabilities of Löve, looks like I still have a lot to learn ahah)
Really nice! I didn't know logic gates could be so fun
(Played the patched version) I find this idea really creative and fun, and I like the fact that the theme is actually reflected in the gameplay: you go faster with more battery, it slowly drains, you have to reach the phone etc. At first the character is pretty unwieldy and hard to control, it's easy to die repeatedly in the first bits, then it becomes easier and more fun - especially after learning how to "wall jump". Congratulations!
I think what you did here is amazing. Sometimes I really struggled to decide whether to save someone or not. The main problem I see is lack of information, but it's understandable as this is more of a narrative experience than a gameplay-heavy one. Congratulations!
Very good game! I like the original concept and it's pretty fun to play
First of all, the beast looks amazing and I love the idea of a game centered around moving on a huge animal. The mechanics are also well put togheter, I especially liked how you can throw bees to hit other bees. Sometimes I tried to feed the beast and the wasp just went past, probably did it wrong though ahah. The controls seemed a bit too over-reactive at first, but I quickly got used to them. Overall really great game!
I certainly wouldn't have been able to come up with something like this ahah fun idea! The dancing skeleton also looks pretty cool, it's a shame that you have to stare to the botton side of the screen instead of watching the action, but other than that pretty good!
The "lore" you have there is awesome! I found it a bit frustrating to move around though, and just sitting on the corner opposite to the soul eater was enough to easily annihilate everyone
What an atmosphere. At first I was very confused about what was to be done, but eventually I got it. Balancing the needs of the heart was very tense and finding the "safe" spots always a relief. I also love the art style and the use of music, congratulations!
Wow, good aesthetics! In my opinion it's a bit annoying that the enemies parry so much, but I loved it even if it starts becoming a bit samey after a while
Cute game, very satisfying to play
Very interesting and original concept. Cool!
Very cool archery mechanics, after a while I had a "rythm" going for, which I really enjoyed. The only thing is that when the fast guys touched me I got stuck and had to restart a few times. Good job!
Really intense game!Pretty challenging, I had full focus on the game near the end, so congratulations for that. The graphics and audio were pretty good too. I barely used the marker, just put it in the center and occasioally dashed if an enemy happened to be the other side.
Also cool to see something made in Löve as well! Good job
I got the same error as @fupi, even without audio :(
Very satisfying game! I love the fact that the viruses literally explode lol. Is there an actual ending or it just keeps going?
Unfortunately what's shown doesn't fit my 1680x1050 monitor, but it was still playable! Nice game
This is perfect! My favourite game so far. SO much fun (and awesome singing)
Okay, I played long enough I think I could make a fully fledged video essay ahah - As many others, I think the game looks a bit repetitive, but it's functional and the first few moments I had the feeling I was exploring a strange world. I like the central idea, and the fact that "fragments" of the maps get fixed, seems like a little detail that's there just because it made sense thematically, which I like. The first few runs always ended up with me stranded in some part of the map, frantically trying to return to get tree the last seconds without success - it was pretty frustrating; and there was lack of water, often I ended up with a lot of resources but no water, which led to failure. (As a note, it's not at all clear what "Water: 5/23/3+0" could possibly mean!). I kept going and eventually I had a good run, learned to be very worried about returning home when the timer hit 30 seconds - actually, managing time, distance from the tree and resources was the most fun part of the game. My character rapidly developed and started becoming very efficient at collecting materials. I kept playing for so long because the description says "Play as the Sorceress Alice, keeping the Last Sapling alive until it grows into a full-fledged self-sustained tree!" which sorta implies there's an ending to be seen... Maybe there is, but it's after Day 22, which is pretty long. Even if you don't play it so much, I think it's a little too long for a Ludum Dare game, the average player will play the first day a few times, get frustrated and move on. Anyways I don't regret finding it, on the contrary! I think it's a cool little game which can get you hooked if you overlook some flaws. And yeah, very good cover image :)
Neat execution! I actually like the window resizing and the absence of superfluous elements, and also the art-style. The levels were fun - apart from those bees, they are infuriating. Good job!
Great game! Very clearly explained, and immediately becomes very fast paced. Also love the theme
Got no errors, cool little game!
This is one my favourites overall, good job! Coming up with a puzzle game in three days is very impressive. But MY GOD the last level is frustrating
Very unique idea and solid atmosphere. The gameplay is a bit tedious, but the other elements make up for it. A good entry!
Cute game!
I don't know why but I find it hilarious, especially the fact that you can die extremely fast and you're suddently sent back to the menu. The jump doesn't feel "high" enough sometimes, the character is a bit unwieldy to control. But overall pretty fun!
Fun little game! As others have said, it's basically perfect for what it is. Good job!
Here's something I'd never come up with ahah! It's not really clear how the rolls are supposed to move though
The intro and outro really hit me - well done. The game itself is amazingly polished and looks really really good, the only thing I'd have put is some kind of checkpoint system, as the platforming bits are somewhat frustrating. I also loved switching between the different robots and their different point of views. Overall great job!
A bit broken but cool idea!
Nice job, it has a kinda frantic pace for a plant-watering game Ahah. At first it was a bit confusing that you have to stay at a specific distance to water them, but then I got it. Also I like how each plant has a name :D
Nice! :D Congratulations for your first game
Looks so cool, a lot of potential! If you had time to flesh out things a bit more it'd be amazing
Cool mindless game! Even if it's not very difficult, it's very fun and satisfying to play
Keep trying! I've joined LD about three-four times and only on this one I've been able to finish something
The low framerate is a feature or just something in my computer? Anyways fun game!
I like the atmosphere of the game, it really feels like a bunch of people in the middle of nowhere trying to survive. I played it for a while, didn't really know what I was supposed to do except farming, repairing robots and blackouts. I think it could turn out great with a bit more polishing!
I found it pretty engaging, well done!
Feels really polished and smooth, congratulations for the art and sounds! I initially alternated between carrying water or the plant, but quickly found that I'd just be more convenient to always hold onto the plant; I think that it'd be more fun if the player was more incentivized to frequently switch between objects. Overall really good for something made in 24h, great job!
I really like how the earth looks. Fun for a while, nice
Scord 323! I love this idea, very creative (and very actual, to be fair)
@langotriel oh wow, remembering how good the voice acting was in your game, I actually feel honored! I'll think about it
@gustavo-christino thanks, cool feedback!
This made me chuckle. It's extremely simple and basic, but I'm damn glad it exists and that I played it. Thank you for making it!
Ahahah loved it! At first I was a bit confused about what you had to do, then I understood that you had to water it and keep it in the sun a bit. But I kept wondering "why are there so many rats? What is that number on top? Why is my plant growing a mouth" and then it blossomed - it was so funny putting all the pieces together XD Thank you for making this!
I think you could work a bit on the attack, right now it doesn't feel like it's doing anything. But pretty cool map!
I find this game impressive. The atmosphere pulled me in from the start, and I found myself completely immersed in the otherworldly experience. The sound absolutely helped, and the writing was fantastic, I couldn't believe at how much content there was. Thank you for making this.
I think this is a very well-put together and balanced shoot-em-up, congrats! I got 41010.
I agree with others, the death animation is so fun
Wow. This works so well it's kinda incredible.
Liked this very much! It becomes exponentially harder, which makes it rather frantic. I liked the aspect of having to distinguish friendly and enemy ships, that you couldn't just annihilate everything you see. Also some pretty art and funny storyline/style!
Really well made game, from graphics to audio to gameplay, every single part works really well! At first I didn't understand why I kept dying or why I should rewind time, but after a while I got it.
At first I found it confusing but I think I've got the hang of it - even if death seems inevitable (but that's the theme alright). I think that some actions could benefit from having more feedback, like pressing F to scare the creatures; with some polish this could work pretty well.
Very nice game! I love the artstyle and seeing Zeus absolutely destroy the island is very fun to see. I thought I had found an exploit by building a peninsula away from the center, but at 122 seconds he got me.
Good use of the theme. The game is pretty bare-bones but in a sense that makes the experience all the more paranoic, which is rather fitting.
Really impressive game, the storyline hooked me from start to finish and the atmosphere was very well put together, especially thanks to the voice acting.
I enjoyed this a lot! The story and dialogue was quite fun, good interpretation of the theme; also the RPG mechanics were a cool addition. Some sound effect would've been nice but I think it works just fine either way.
Wow, apart from the graphics style and difficulty this feels EXACTLY like an Atari 2600 game, especially audio
I was smashing mercilessly my mouse left button when I discovered that you could hold it! XD Anyways fun simple game! My score was 1:45, 247 kills
I really liked this, it's reminiscent of 80's games not only in graphics and sound but in game design as well. That could lead to a frustrating experience but the game is short enough for that to not be a problem. I had a lot of fun playing this, so thank you!
I found this a really thought-out, well-designed puzzle game with a great theme. And made in 3 days, congratulations. I love it.
I held for 630 seconds. In the end I decided to make the energy go to 100% for one last time, and stop, even with the alarm screaming to me to keep on clicking, thinking about the experiences of the character and mine. Seriously haunting experience.
At first the rules seemed complicated but when I got the hang of it I really started enjoying it. I have to say, it was fun to see my mega-city get flooded.
Wow, such polish! Such graphics and sound! And so much fun. I can't believe you managed to pull it off in 3 days.
Fun little game, I like the premise ahah
Congratulations for your first jam! Pretty fun, I always upgraded my speed so the guy started just speeding through the dam, staying in the lower part of the map to check for water particles.
I found this surprisingly interesting, as I desperately tried everything I could to stop Macler from getting close. What a strange mood surrounding this, I like it
Very cool, I was able to get to the second ending. The puzzles definitely felt satisfying. The one thing which bugged me a bit was that the text went too fast and I couldn't understand the ending dialogue. But overall, an excellent game!
Updated it! Hope it runs properly now.
I would've liked the game's difficulty to increased more over time, but overall fun little game.
Hey, I think it was a really fun game. The thin layer of story really does work.
One of my favourites, really good idea for a sort-of-puzzle game; the contrast between the high-adrenaline graphics/sound and the delicate gameplay is so fun. I just found it a bit harsh to have to restart the game from scratch each time I died, maybe checkpoints would've been nice.
I hope that games like this keep being created! It might be strange, but that's also the appeal: not having everything figured out the first second you look at something.
First thing that struck me was the nice drawings. I gradually got involved in the story, and I don't think that the lack of agency is necessarily a bad thing, as the core of the game was the dialogues and narration. Very effective.
It's a really fun way to interpet the theme, and you actually executed it very effectively, congratulations.
Oh, I'd love to try this, but it doesn't fit on my 1366x768 screen :sob:
I really like the idea behind this and it was quite fun. With some more polish and balancing it would be a great game.
This idea is genius, my favourite one so far. I didn't think about the possibility that it could something that's not the player (in this case, THE GAME ITSELF) that wants to delay the inevitable as long as possible. And I really like the dialogue with the AI, it was sad to close the game. Bravo!
Love the theme, really great idea. I also appreciated the aesthetic and colours, making this an enjoyable experience.
It's something pretty unique, and I really liked it! Very nice aesthetics and setting. Getting things right was a bit of a trial-and-error, but fun in its own way.
Pretty nice idea and concept. Also I immediately found the controls really smooth, and the artwork is very creative. I liked it!
I'd like to try it, but unfortunately on my Windows laptop a large portion of what I should see doesn't fit in the screen. The resolution is 1366x768, if that helps.
Interesting game, I ended up selling my soul, and some organs while I were at it, dying a slow, inevitable death in order to not have to worry about taxes. Nice
